7 year review – Well it's been 7 years with this baby and its still running! I picked up a display model with a scratch so got it for only $420 so I'd say that's money well worth spent considering it lasted this long. Issues I've had in the last 7 years: First 4 years - flawless 5th year - 2 issues. Issue 1) Motor died, replaced for free by the motor… Read more

warranty which I didn't know it had! Repairer came to inspect, waited 4 days for parts, he came back and installed it and poof away it goes. Beko customer support were decent, no complaints. They initially offered an exchange for another machine at half price, but decided to just go with repair. Issue 2) About a month later the door mechanism stopped working. Looked like the solenoid broke and the machine wouldn't start without. Now I was wishing I did replace the machine. However I googled around and figured out that its a common issue. I bought the part from ebay for about $30, opened up just a small section of the machine and replaced the unit in about 30 mins. Few! That wasn't too bad. Thanks to google and youtube tutorials!

Now its been 7 years, and still running like new. I think it still has many more years, but I'm going to try something else, larger and more modern unit with smart integration. I am looking into Samsung, but I have a feeling it might not last as long as this Beko.

Should last a lot longer than warranty period. Beko/all brands should honour services for recent out of warranty items – My washer is extremely well taken care of. The original stickers are still in perect condition. Purchased in july 2013 but had no problems whatsoever since then. I think my pump may have gone. The program goes into an endless cycle when it can’t drain the water. I finally worked out that if I know when the next water draining stage of the cycle is… Read more

supposed to start, I can pull out the emergency hose and manually expel the water. Once that’s done it moves onto the next cycle. There’s nothing clogging the water passage. So I guess it’s the pump but not sure about that either. This is absurd.

Not going with Beko again – Its fine at cleaning clothes, just like any washing machine is. I loved the pet hair removal feature. Unfortunately the durability of this machine is non-existent. I have had it repaired a couple times, but finally after 4 years of owning it, the motor and the motherboard both went at the same time. Not worth fixing this hunk of junk anymore, I will be getting a new washer from a different brand. Show details

BEKO WMB6514412 – I will never buy a BEKO again, took out extended warranty to cover it for 5 years, thank god I did, in the last 12 months, I have had the door lock replaced, the pump replaced and now have had to wait for 4 weeks to have the computer board replaced, and still not done. When I bought this machine I was told it was one of the best on the market,… Read more

that parts were easy to obtain but it would last for years.........right!!!!!!!! no wrong......I had a Westinghouse prior, had it for 15 years no issue!!!!!!!!!

Don't buy Beko products!!! Faulty and bad customer service – Beko washing machines are not of acceptable quality, broke after 3 years, 3 months. Never purchase from Beko. Contacted Beko 6 times, with proof of purchase. Must use their technicians at my cost & MAY assist with costs later. Beko will only supply parts to them. Total cost of fix is $590 (2 call outs & $260 replacement motor), for a washing machine that cost $525 only three years ago. Never purchase Beko.  Show details

Broke in just over two years – Was working ok till 2 years and 9 months (was noisy during operation though), broke down with the machine stuck on cycle end. Tried reset options and eventually called in the 3rd party (contact provided by Beko) technician for diagnosis. He claimed a problem with the master board of the machine, the cost of replacing was almost equal to machine itself. Would stay away from Beko in the future for sure.  Show details

STAY CLEAR OF BEKO PRODUCTS – My machine also stopped working 2 months out of warranty, the machine started filling up and then started pumping the water out whilst filling up, no help came from Beko, quoted cost $160 for the tech to visit, more for parts, what a waste of money, won't buy another Beko product.  Show details

Failed 2 months after warranty period ended – The washing machine worked well for the first 26 months (24 months was the warranty period). At the 26 month mark, the motor failed. Beko's customer service was both unhelpful and refused to acknowledge that 26 months was an unreasonable life for the machine. Will never consider a Beko again (any product), and will recommend steering clear of Beko products to all family and friends.  Show details

Washes well especially work clothes – Washes tradies workwear very well. The cycle is longer but delivers on cleanliness. Quiet when washing and especially spinning, my old Asko was very noisy. Clothes don't appear to take the beating seen in some top loaders. Favourite feature the daily wash cycle that is quick but cleans the clothes too. The ability to use the spin or just rinse if you want to, not all machines have this ability. Good vslue for money would recommend to others.  Show details

Good performance – Does a good job and and is fairly quiet. It's reasonably quick on the Easy Care setting. Unfortunately a communication board failed in the motor recently, which required the whole motor to be replaced as the labour time for replacing the board is quite extensive. I rang Beko who were very helpful and even though the machine was out of warranty,… Read more

they covered the repairs. The newer model Beko washers have the communication board external to the motor and the inverter motors now have a 10 year warranty so similar problems shouldn't arise. Therefore I would recommend the new models as apart from the motor fault my machine has been fine.

Motor replacement out of warranty – Like many others, the motor in my Beko washing machine died only a few months out of warranty. However, unlike others, when I phoned the company, they were extremely helpful and agreed to replace the motor free of charge (even covering the original call out fee). However, if this is a common fault with this model, it's a good thing they've… Read more

discontinued it. Anyone who's machine has this fault should still definitely contact the company and ask them to replace any faulty parts even out of warranty.

Can't fault this machine – My son moved back home and brought this washing machine with him. It has replaced our 14 year old Asko. The Beko has performed flawlessly (it's now 2 years old) and I have no complaints about the quality of its wash. I use a cold wash set to cottons (for everything) and the cycle is 1 hour 19 minutes, but takes longer if it can't balance the load. So far, I have had no problems with this machine, and it washes well.

So not a fan – I have gone from a 13 year old powerhouse of a top loader to this :( This Beko washing machine is quiet but that's the only positive. a) it doesn't spin out properly so the sheets get hung out very wet, b) the load rolls into a ball sometimes which I have to detangle and c) the detergent doesn't empty. It drives me nuts. Not happy.

Happy, Unhappy, now happy! – I was extremely unhappy when my machine stopped working at only 20 months old. Rang Beko who gave me the number for the authorised repairer for my area. He explained it was probably the motor and he was expecting an order within a few days and would ring me when they arrived, within two days he called me back and we made a convenient time for me… Read more

to be at home. He replaced the motor and had it working in just under 20 minutes all under warranty. The service from Beko and Mark from Port Phiilip appliance services was without fault.

Great Front Loader – Bought this machine as a replacement to our to loader, have had no problems with it & runs well. I use the daily quick & quick cycles mostly but also have used most of the other cycles as well, and follow every wash cycle with the 15 min spin & drain. Easy to use - and like other people have said take care with the amount of product you use.

18 Months, Not 1 complaint – I am very pleased with the performance of my machine. Had no problems what so ever in 18 months. As long as you use the correct amount of powder & the correct cycle it performs perfectly & is gentle on the clothes. Love using the daily quick cycle. It is very quiet when operating.

Frustrated – Broke down on 29 November and still waiting for parts. 5 days before serviceman came to look at it and needs a new Motherboard. Still under warranty. Does not always spin out as it should and needs to be spun again. Would not choose this brand again. Poor service time.

Not Happy – I'm very disappointed, my washing machine is just 2 years old have had trouble with cloths not spin out properly. When I contacted the provider, I was asked for serial number you guessed it is not legible so no luck getting repair. Never buy this brand again. 2 machines on 7 years.

Motor failed before 2 year warranty period was up – I purchased a beko washing machine as I was told they are big and Europe and excellent etc etc. So I was extremely disappointed when the motor went on my machine after owning for approx 18 months. The time it takes for parts to be sent out and machine repaired was nearly two weeks. Terrible turnaround time and no other options were given to me besides you just have to wait until the part arrives. Would a purchase a Beko machine again, no!

Disappointed – I bought this machine 18months ago. I am very disappointed on the spin action as my washing is quite wet on completion of cycle. I have to spin the items again sometimes as they are wet. Now it is winter this is very annoying and time consuming.

Major service problems – Is a good washer with good programme choices. I have, however, have had a number of problems: the spin leaving clothes too wet when only a few items, lengthy time reprogramming the machine after electrical storm, the machine lock has not been working since 3rd June (I have diagnosed the problem) and currently waiting for repair (still under warrantee). Repairer not coming till 15 July!

Disappointed – This is my second front loader, not the machine that I originally went to buy but the sales man talked me into it. After about 8 months It needed repair, the memory card or something like that. Now, just a couple of months before the warranty runs out, it needs repair again. They replaced the card again, not what was wrong, then they replaced… Read more

the motor, and that didn't fix it either. Now they are going to send me a new washing machine. This has all taken 7 weeks and am still waiting. Admittedly there was Christmas in between. The repair man told me he knows of about 3 other machines of this model that this has happened to. I recommend trying something else. Or definitely a different model

Great machine, except the motor – UPDATE: After 2 years of owning, we also had the issue of the motor dying on us and unfortunately we were outside the warranty period. The machine does a great job of washing, it's extremely quiet, spins well, does really hot washes, etc, but was around $375 for a tech to come out and replace the motor. Apparently it's a common fault and honestly,… Read more

not something I'd expect to fail in such a short amount of time.

ORIGINAL: Had never heard of Beko when we went looking for a new washing machine a few weeks ago. I did a quick look around at reviews online here in Australia to try and gauge how these units fared.

Happy to say that I'm thankful we bought one. It's only for 2 people, so 6.5L was big enough. The unit heats the water itself, no need for a hot water tap. Cotton cycle can do up to 90C temp, made those towels extra awesome!

Great machine – Have been eyeing the Beko FL for some time especially since it is the biggest seller in the UK. So when my current FL had a minor problem (detergent stopped dispensing due to failure of hot water inlet) and after 19 years, I gave the Beko a go and certainly not disappointed. Only problem is the default setting for daily quick is 30deg and 1200 … Read more

rpm and to change to 40 takes 6 or 7 clicks to scroll through and it does not have last input memory, so you have to change it every time. Something to be said about analogue set and forget dials. The best part is with that cycle, it is over in 45min. Also tried 1400 rpm but didn't think it was much drier.

It is really quiet, but after a couple of washes, it was making a racket on spin cycle, and I though I've got a dud, but dealer came and found out that he had left some polystyrene packing inside between the drum and the floor. It has been great since removing it. Oh and the seal needs mopping up after a wash. The drainage holes do not seem to be at the lowest point. Quiet and clean clothes well No last cycle memory

Brilliant Front Loader – After reading all the great reviews on the net about the Beko Front Loader, great price for good quality and high speed spin, I decided to go for it. So now I'm a convert, had the Beko now for a couple of weeks, used three different… Read more

washes, daily wash is only 30 minutes! and I'm so impressed with the 1400 spin speed, clothes are almost dry when they come out, saving on time and energy whether air drying or in the dryer. The machine runs quietly and with all the wash options, temperature, spin speed, that you can change to suit yourself, its incredible!

Highly recommend this machine! High quality look and feel, sturdy and quiet - 1400 spin
