times of Covid, material shortages and including the Christmas/New Year period, is amazing to us and also to many of our neighbours and passers-by who commented on the short timeframe. Thank you especially to Scott for his hard work and professionalism. We appreciated having direct communication with him, no query seemed too much trouble and we knew that we could always trust his advice. We can honestly say that we enjoyed the building process, which is a surprise to many people and we are very grateful to everyone at Belair Custom Homes for making that possible.

Knowledgeable, personal and customer-oriented – We have been very blessed with a builder like Scott. He is very precise and a man of his word. Soul Destroying Experience – As part of our due diligence in selecting Belair Custom Homes (BCH) as our home builder we read the glowing references on this produce review page. Unfortunately, our experience was vastly different. Whilst the design, negotiation, initial building works went smoothly, once there was an issue, things changed for the worse. From failing to allow for GST on the joinery package which we had to cover, quality issues we continually needed to address, attempts by BCH to retain credits to which we were entitled, refusal to comply with inclusions in the contract instead insisting that we pay etc. In the end we walked away from an estimated $7,000 in credits to move into our home. Poor communication and dishonesty, which were underlying traits of BCH dealings with us, destroyed our trust. The defects period was more of the same. I could not recommend them under any circumstances.

We had so much choice it could have become overwhelming but BCH introduced us to friendly and knowledgeable people who helped us choose our tiles, colour schemes and kitchen design. The results are outstanding and the workmanship, particularly in the bathrooms and kitchen, is excellent thanks to the Site Manager’s watchful eye. The only real disappointment has been the quality of some of the interior painting.
However, on balance, it is a large house that was built on time, on budget and BCH are a great team to work with. We are extremely happy with the result and we would definitely build with BCH again.
Thoroughly satisfied – From conceptual plans, council submissions, organizing demolition, through to completion of the build of our split level, modern family home, our experience with Belair Custom Homes was exceptional. With Scott's guidance we achieved the level of finish we were seeking within our budget and within the time schedule. The build was well managed and very closely supervised throughout. We intend to build again and without hesitation would use BCH.
