Nothing done right! – I had a larger size exhaust pipe fitted between headers and muffler on my project car. Against my instructions, the inlet manifold and headers were loosened and the muffler brackets were removed. The engine could not be tuned because of air leaking at the manifold gasket. Of 13 bolts which either attach the exhaust system or connect the various pipes together, only three were properly tightened. Three bolts actually had no nuts fitted. The front pipe fell off at the exhaust flange. It took me weeks to rectify the sub-standard work myself. Absolutely unacceptable!

Great bunch of guys – Had my battery die two blocks away from their shop . I dropped in to ask if there was a battery shop close by , without hesitation the owner sent one of the mechanics with a battery booster down the street with me to get me back to the shop. They tested the batt and alternator and diagnosed the problem. Quick fix and than would not take any payment. Old school. Will be getting my future business for sure.

rego check – i went to see them yesterday for a rego check. they called me an hour later that its all done and ready to go. they said that the right brake light is broken they fox it with the cost of $30 just for the globes . i picked up the car as i drove by turning right the right indicator was not working which i know before coming to see them it was working. told the guy who fixed it he said its working . told to go and check it. it turns out its not working he did fix it but then when i went to wollies and park the car the engine wont turn the keys stuck in the ignition while the engine running. could not get the keys out from the ignition switch i have to dislodge the battery to turn it off and now the keys stuck in the ignition switch. its mg first experience this after i got my car check from them. they manipulated the car and now i have to get it fix to ford dealer. what a rip off..

Great reliable service – My exhaust system on my vehicle needed replacing. I had had some work done here in previous years and had been happy with the service received. I had researched and wanted to try a cat back system on my car in order to give it a sportier exhaust note, so decided to go with Belconnen Exhausts even though they were not the cheapest quote, but due to their past performance. They fitted the exhaust in less time than they had quoted and I picked up the car.

I found that I did not enjoy the cat back exhaust, it was well fitted with a very professional look, but I just found it too noisy for my liking. I drove the car for a week and then decided that I needed to fit a standard exhaust back on the vehicle.

On returning to Belconnen Exhaust, the manager listened to my tale and cheerfully agreed to replace the exhaust system with a standard. I was fully prepared to pay to do this as it was NOT the fault of the business that I had changed my mind.

Imagine my surprise when I was told there would be no cost involved.

They again fitted the system in less time than quoted, with a wonderful job done and at no cost to me.
