to several attempts to contact them - Belfield eventually agreed to refund my purchase when they get it back to their warehouse. God knows how long that will take, and I suspect I’ll be having an argument with them when they try to slug me a re-stocking fee or some other such nonsense.

Don’t give these guys your hard earned cash. Get your gear somewhere else.

service. When I placed the order, eBay stated the estimated arrival would be 2-3 days, meaning it should arrive by October 24. I also received the tracking number on the 22nd, and the FedEx tracking page initially stated it would arrive by 5 p.m. on the 23rd, so I waited at home all day to avoid missing the delivery. Not surprisingly, FedEx did not deliver it on the 23rd without any notice. I just received an email around 7 p.m. on the 23rd saying the shipment was delayed.

Usually, a same-city delivery takes 1-3 days, so I decided to wait. On the 24th, I contacted FedEx to check the status and asked if it could arrive by the end of the day, as there were no updates on the tracking page. However, the FedEx support team was not helpful. They couldn’t provide any further ETA or confirm if it was on board for delivery due to a system glitch. I called around 11:45 a.m., and they said they would investigate and get back to me by 12:45 p.m., but I never received a call back. I patiently waited another day, hoping for delivery on the 24th, but still nothing. Finally, on October 25, around 9:30 a.m., I got a call from FedEx. They wanted to confirm my building number, saying my shipping address was incomplete and the they can only deliver it next Monday 28th Oct. I am a longtime eBay user and have never had this issue before; my shipping address was 100% correct and clear. When I asked FedEx about the reason for the delay and why they couldn’t deliver today, despite missing their original delivery date, it was truly unacceptable that a same-city package took 5 business days to be delivered, the representative just hung up on me. I can’t believe this is the service in 2024—the worst shipping experience I’ve had this year.

Due to this horrible shipping experience, I requested to cancel the order, and Belfield Music’s support team helped me with the cancellation. Now I’m just waiting for my refund. I’ve wasted a few days here, and I imagine that if I had ordered from another seller, I’d probably be enjoying the music by now instead of sharing this negative experience. While I can’t really blame Belfield, shipping is also part of the online shopping experience. So in the end, this whole experience has left me disappointed and writing a negative review.

01 Nov update: Last Friday, 25 Oct, Belfield contacted FedEx to arrange for the parcel to be returned, and it took FedEx an entire week to get it back. Finally, it shows "Shipment returned to sender" today, but I'm still waiting on my refund.

Meanwhile, I ordered the same pair of speakers from another seller last Friday, 25 Oct. They shipped them out on 28 Oct from VIC via StarTrack, and I received them by 30 Oct here in NSW—quick and smooth. Compared to Belfield's shipping experience, it was miles better.

Close but no Donut – Synth took 2 weeks to arrive, after arrival it was acting weird so eventually stopped working after 2 more weeks I lodged a return but was told that since it’s been outside their 4 weeks return (by 2 days ) they do not accept returns Stared a painstakingly warranty process to fix something that was cheaply made and should have been checked Little pathetic considering how much money I spent with Belfield each year

Don't Bother. Deplorable Postage Service – Highly recommend you make your purchase somewhere else. come and pick it up. It took 2 weeks just to get a phone number or the actual location of the parcel. After several attempts (they "attempted" delivery twice) I was forced to pay them to have it posted somewhere else. They will just take your money, not deliver the parcel to the second address, and then eventually just return it to sender. I am still chasing a refund after 2 months and no parcel. Belfield is not worth your money. Pay more from somewhere else with a decent courier.

said they're not responsible once the item leaves their warehouse. I beg to differ, as they have contracted someone to deliver it on their behalf, and the sale is not complete, till someone signs and accepts the purchased item. My friend is an avid musician and purchases regularly from his local music shop as they deliver right to his doorstep, unfortunately they did not stock this specific item, and I took a chance with Belfield Music, I feel Belfield music should compensate for the way the sale turned out, and it shouldn't be the shoppers responsiblity to argue with the courier as they didn't contract them for the service. I am unhappy with Belfield music deleting my bad review on ebay, as it seems they do not want anyone to know of my bad experience, which in turn has led me to believe, this is a re occurring problem the company is covering up, to increase their ratings and sales. Shame on you BELFIELD MUSIC . I will never shop with you again or recommend your store.

Every other company I deal with uses external packaging! So I write this to warn anyone to RECONSIDER purchasing here if discretion is required.

guitars in stock so they have to ordered again which takes around 3 months to arrive.

I was upset because from the beginning I had the feeling they didn't treat me as a serious customer even when I paid a guitar of AUS1400, and of course eventually I couldn't have it for my gigs.

After they apologise they promised a compensation that never arrived and they didn't reply my emails any more. Im disappointed with the company.

I succeeded in a purchase...but wait...hours later an email telling me that there was no stock and that the wait would be nearly two months before they could restock. The only good thing that this pathetic store did for me was to refund my money. Do yourselves a favor and shop elsewhere.

Awsome customer service and after sales support – Recently purchased just over $200 worth of equipment and the package turned up well packed and undamaged, however one of the items was different to the one I ordered. I send them an email and within minutes I had a response and a solution to the problem. keep it up guys !! you cant get that service everywhere.

Belfield music are ruubish – Allways different staff.You feel like you are disturbing them when you need a warranty claim.and also will try to sell you behringer/bugera items and tell you they are a great product when they know it's absolute rubbish I will never go there again they suck I'd go somewhere reputable like shire music or drummers dream Told me behringer/bugera was a good product

Great Service – I bought a Korg Microkey midi from there online store and I was very much pleased by their services. The last time I bought an instrument, I could only pay through Paypal but once I called them up, the were happy to accept by card. Over all, a great store for online buying. Quick and easy service.
