BenQ Australia is a Scam Selling Cheap Generic Knock-offs – I purchased a replacement lamp for my BenQ projector from these people. They assured me it was a genuine BenQ branded lamp and that they were the only Australian supplier of genuine lamps, guaranteed for 4000 hours. What arrived was an obviously generic lamp that looked like it had been used. They assured me it was new. I put it in the projector and it stopped working after less than 200 hours. When I contacted them, Jithu (a very rude man) claimed it was not their lamp and some other used lamp. I sent them photos of the packaging and of the lamp they sent me and he refused to accept responsibility. I believe I was deliberately sent a cheap used lamp and that there are no genuine BenQ branded projector parts being sold out of this business. There is no back-up of help from BenQ either - just Jithu and his industrial unit full of knock-offs.
