NEED HELP – Can someone please tell me where I can get a wheel for my Bertini double pram. One of the back wheels were broken at the aiport. In oversized luggage. They didn't take care of my pram, I'm beyond upset. And the fact that the wheels break so easily. If you know where I can purchase a back wheel from please let me know asap ! Please help!!
Wouldn’t recommend – I brought this pram when I had my second child 12 months after my first hoping it would last until I no longer needed a pram, I was extremely wrong. Within 2 weeks of using the pram one of the front wheels got caught in a crack in the pathway and snapped nearly completely off whilst I was walking home and when I asked about having it replaced was… Read more
told by the company that it would cost me $80+ and I could only buy a pair, I replaced the wheel and now 6 months later I am haveing to either replace both because again they have snapped or get a whole new pram. not long after purchasing I also notified the handle bar clip had broken so it now can only be used below the lowest height setting or the handle bars slip down while in use, which is crap when your a tall or even average height person. Along with that the hood doesn’t stay in the slot on one of the seats, it’s extremely heavy, and the basket space is half the size of my original pram. Overall I wouldn’t recommend purchasing this pram to anyone. It takes up a lot of boot space, is flimsy and not worth the price tag, far better off spending a little more to get a quality pram, as this one is clearly only designed to be used in a mall.
50/50 – I bought the Berttini Envy Double Stroller in Jan 2015 (just prior to having my second child in Feb). It's a good pram but only good on even ground. Walking on the footpath (especially crossing the road is a nightmare). The front tires are not big enough to roll over a slight bump and if there is a steep incline/decline, the wheels get stuck.… Read more
Over time the front wheels have bent :( I am returning the frame this weekend (Sept 2015) to the store which we purchased it from to see if it can be repaired under warranty. I am going away in a couple of weeks and they have been nice enough to arrange a loan double pram for me. I will let you all know how I go. Seems this pram is only good for shopping centres.
Love love love – I love my bertini envy i use it every day walking the kids to school and on the train.. its very sturdy yet light enough to easily get around! After having a c section i was unable to lift heavy objects, but had no issue getting the pram in and out of the car! Baby loves the bassinet connection he prefers to sleep in it over his actual bassinet… Read more
so. I love the fact that it came with every possible connection i need to take it from a single to double in any way that i would like, it is super easy to fold and taking the seat off is easy as you don't need to struggle to reach both buttons on either side of the pram at the same time (you can press them separately ) the only thing i don't like is nappy bags sit awkwardly of the handle bars and there's no holder for my coffee lol but most prams don't have that these days and i bought a hook for the nappy bag and drink holder that easily attached over all i love it and my partner loved the price
Heavy, flimsy, tippy and creaky – You will be the envy of everyone with a better pram. Hired this pram when in melbourne. Hate it! It is very hard and heavy to steer, cant be pushed with one hand and is tippy when it inly has a single seat with a baby. Lots of flex in the frame when trying to turn it and the suspension does nothing. My home pram is a baby jogger and this is miles behind in terms of handling. If I was on a budget Id buy 2nd hand before choosing this.
Amazing! – I love my bertini envy so much! great steering, can be a single or a twin pram, it's not it's a little on the heavy side but you know it's good quality, I've had mine for 6 months, I sue it every day and so far no complaints. Extremely happy with this pram, the handle height is adjustable as well so if you're taller it's great,
Shocking, cheap, flimsy – I bought this in hopes it would serve me well for the next 3+ years. It barely lasted 4months. The handle clips broke. Front swivel wheel had a mind of their own and it was just a cheap nasty pram. It was so flimsy and the frame bent just walking around from my 11kilo son sitting in it! For nearly 4 months it was being repaired (it was sent away… Read more
between Christmas and New Years and came back this week!! for it to come back in the same condition it was sent! The company was SHOCKING to deal with. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone ever again!! I'd rather burn $550! I only just got a refund after lodging a department of fair trading complaint!
Great for Twins – When we found out we were having twins 12 months ago, I was scared about spending a lot on a pram knowing these babies were my last. We hunted everywhere and found the envy and haven't looked back. We got the pram, then also got a second seat and we also got the basinets for them too.All for around 1K. I love shopping with it, I can fit the nappy… Read more
bag and a few other things. It fits in our toyota camery just fine. Also found it is easy to keep clean. With the bright colours they can get a little dirty, I just used a little washing powder in warm water and washed it down, hosed it off and dryered it and can up a treat. nothing really negitive to say about it, just glad we found it.
It's great so far – I brought this online a month ago as I wanted a pram that had a bigger basket than my valco snap and be able to convert into a double if we have another child. I like it so far, it is a bit big but changing for the small snap stroller I think I just need to adjust. I will stay it doesn't turn as sharply as I would like and is a little but heavy… Read more
but as I said I think that's because I'm used to a lighter style pram. The seat seems a little bit small for my daughter butt she's pretty tall so I am going to try taking to seat cover out that come with it and see if that makes a difference. It also doesn't fold up very small I have a commadore sports wagon and it takes up a Decent Part of my boot space. But it's cheaper than striders and city selects so if u are looking for a budget pram than give it a go.
Loving it – I bought the Envy mint with extra seat, currently using my safety 1st capsule & 1 seat. This is so light & compact stores in my boot better than my single valco pram. Great for getting around shops fits everywhere it's not heavy to push like my double steelcraft agile but just as easy to turn with one hand & smooth ride. Great storage basket… Read more
underneath & looks great. awThe wheels do feel a little plastic & mud guards so would not recommend for off-road but otherwise very happy. price, options of seating, reversible seat liners, includes adapters
