and do the job. Our current Strata Manager Danielle will get the Strata Committee to do her job. She is not familiar with Strata Management and customer service. I have an urgent signifant issue with my main door which is common property and is damaged having security and fire safety implications and she won't do anything about it but sent it to the Committee to respond and arrogant that she is says I can pay for it and then she will put it to the Committee for consideration for payment. The other units doors were damaged namely 4, 7, 11 and 12 but under the previous Strata Manager was replaced and paid for by the Body Corporate no going to the Committee for a decision. This has caused me so much stress and inconvenience so won't recommend them. Stay away from this company and save yourself trouble and monies.

 Follow-up  · The. Building was constructed in 1976 so 50 years old. Due to extreme heat the door got warped and collapsed so did not function as a door, not closing and unable to lock. The door material was plywood and hollow - poor material. There has been problems with the doors of other units as well.

Professional and knowledgeable – In comparison to another strata management group in my professional and personal experience Best Strata are my preferred choice. Firstly and importantly they know the Act and also they respond in good time and are always polite. I felt like part of a client group with them. Maintenance seems to be lacking – Having just looked at a unit in a 32 complex managed by this company, I see gutters full of leaves, rotting bargeboards, corroded flashings and blocked downspouts. I have to wonder if the Committee is active, if there is a management plan, and what this company can do about it.

Worse strata ever!!! – Best Strata Misused corporate Funds for works that do not exist! parliament to try them to stop using our funds inappropriately. Finally, we had an EGM meeting in which every member attended voted them out. This company should be shut down. Not worth half a star.

Unprofessional in every way – We have inherited Best Stata since buying our SA property. We continually have to follow up basic requests Sharon, Martin and Shayna seemingly all unaware of SA Strata laws! Best Strata in SA does not manage our Strata instead sits back and lets the committee do all the work!

First Impressions are appalling – Recently changed to Best Strata. They switched managers after 2 months. New manager Martin Sprason is very uncooperative stating that he has almost 100 strata groups to manage and doesn't have the time to address concerns.

Best Strata Manager I have ever used – This is an unsolicited review. I just wanted to say that these guys are excellent. No hassles, easy to work with, prompt and low cost. They are also flexible and will adapt to the changing needs of the Strata. I have been associated with a few Strata Managers and I remain impressed with the Best Strata team. Advice we then sought from a retiree who had many years' experience in that industry, suggested that the two largest management companies were, to quote him, "expensive and useless". Ultimately, we asked the two smaller companies to give AGM presentations to all our CC members, following which we unanimously appointed Best Strata in July 2014.

We haven't looked back since then and, with great assistance from a couple of very capable Best Strata managers over that time, we raised the necessary capital and successfully replaced or repaired ageing infrastructure including a 300m water main, water meters, sewers, roadways, kerbing, paving, gardens and irrigation. Real estate agents have since confirmed that what's been achieved has added significant value to the properties in our increasingly sought-after location, quite close to Flinders University and Flinders Medical Centre.

So, if you're looking for a very reasonably priced, efficient, responsive and approachable strata manager who has the knowledge and dedication to do more than just collect levies and run your AGM, look no further than Best Strata.

Terrible! – Requested soft copies of Annual General Management meeting documents and both years (after the second year we decided to switch strata companies) took three (3) emails back and forth to justify my request. Responses included “we already send the hard copies”, and “I don’t understand why you would want them”. Don’t waste your time.

Certainly dont do live by their name! – Best Strata are a useless bunch of no hopers. The only good thing about them is that they are 100% SA, but thats it. Their fees are high and their service is poor, they are rude, do not help solve issues and quite frankly cant be bothered. DO NOT USE THEM.

high fees poor service = Best Strata – Dreadful experience after paying 3 quarterly charges of around $385 and thankfully my fellow three unit owners agreed to move to a low cost local company($150-200/yr admin fee depending on the group numbers!) with very experienced mature staff. Best Strata took 12 weeks to approve water supply repairs and 16 weeks to sort a serious insurance claim. Bye bye Best Strata!

Beware! – Under no circumstances should any group of home owners use this company. Their staff are rude, dishonest and sneaky. They will take their fee and, well ...that's pretty much it. Awful people. Avoid at all costs.

Not recommended at all – The only time I heard from them was when they wanted money. Never addressed any of the concerns or phone calls. Rude, thug-like behaviour. They can not be dismissed easily, prepare for court and lawyers to get rid of them.

Very good indeed – We have been managed by Bestatrata since 2010 who have been extremely effective, there has not been a single issue that has not been resolved. Reading a previous adverse comment I am disgusted with it seems to me that the author is unable to communicate on a level basis. One needs to remember to talk with your manager with respect not treat them as a personal servant. Be respectful and you will be treated the same. David

Beware Best Strata!! – Beware this company I paid strata fees to previous strata then these people arrived in December 2015. I produced my receipts for money paid to previous strata, they insisted I hadn't paid as they claimed statements and paperwork was not provided on hand over they claim my receipts not valid!!! They went ahead billed me again I refused to pay they… Read more

hit me with interest and an overdue notice!!! I also provided a bill for damage to property caused by landlord moving in unscreened tenants almost 250 and 500 for outside light and screen door not to mention damage caused to car both landlord and strata refused to accept bills or responsibility.

Upshot have to re pay bill already paid plus interest plus the damage s bill while trying to sell this unit and move out.

The day can't come soon enough when I don't have to deal with these crooks after paying money here for almost 7 years there's nothing to show for your money or all the shift work n long nights.

What a bloody ripoff and a nightmare beware!!!!!!

April 26th 2017 Update: Thieves even with receipts they steal ya coin

Receipts for previous strata not accepted by this mob instead they demand I pay and add interest on top.

Finally on settlement day they still demand coin even with receipts on table they change their story twice.

Thanks to those thieves 800 plus outta pocket.

250 outta pocket after they refused to pay for outside light damaged by others living there.

Just goes to show even with receipts you get ripped off.

All the coin we paid to this mob we couldn't even get someone to now the weeds.

July 7th 2017 Update: Produced Receipts Paid My Bill They Charge Interest

Terrible terrible business. Have reported these robbing swine to local Government N Consumer Affairs. After producing all receipts they would rather charge interest.

Then on settlement day they proceed to rob me over 800 bucks. Receipts produced again and again.

Their response keeps changing their story.

15 months these clowns did nothing if they had taken the time to now the weeds and landscape. Another 5K may have. been possible. v

These people are just robbing low life's.

Explain to me how you can charge interest when the bill is paid and receipts are produced.

Worst bunch of people ever. They robbed me 800 Bucks atleast 3 times over.

Refund my money ya crooks. Pay what you owe me on the outside security light.

Best Strata are the Best! – I Have dealt with a few different Strata company's and Best Strata are quite simply the best there is. They are very professional, efficient and friendly and know exactly what to do if there are any problems. Would definitely recommend them.

Never use Best Strata. Adelaide – Would have to be the most unprofessional Strata Management company in Adelaide. Refuse to pay invoices try to call them and discuss . Never return phone calls or emails they just hope things will go away. So never use them
