Bait pricing scam. Avoid at all costs. This company repeatedly advertises flights at prices that are not actually available, then uses a deliberate process to upsell customers after collecting their personal and credit card details. I have experienced this four separate times, which removes any doubt that this is accidental. The process is always the same: • A very cheap flight is advertised through Momondo. • The same price is confirmed again on BestPriceTravel’s own website. • You enter all passenger details and credit card details. • The site then suddenly claims “payment declined” and tells you to contact customer service. • When you call, you are told the advertised fare is no longer available and you are pushed to buy a more expensive ticket.

After this happening four times, it is obvious this is not a technical issue. It is a bait-and-switch sales tactic designed to lure customers with fake pricing and then pressure them into paying more once they are already invested.

This behaviour is misleading, unethical, and should not be legal. If you value your time, your money, and your personal data, do not book through this company. Book directly with airlines or reputable travel agencies instead.

I have reported this conduct to consumer authorities and would encourage others who experience the same thing to do the same.
