find our bed/mattress issues to be very similar…….he just expressed it better.

Our experience in short: Part of the advise that convinced us to purchase the bed was a) with us being side sleepers it would take a little time getting use to & b) the bed was fine for side sleeping. So getting relief from body aches, very occasional snoring and a full nights sleep were our desired outcomes. Unfortunately we found that sleeping in the back position wasn’t viable. The male did manage to stay in the position for up to 4-5hrs, by stubbornly sticking at it and suffering badly at hips, lower back and legs. Continually having to adjust hip and buttock position…..so little sleep had. Apparently when managing to get to sleep, I the male, snored like a trooper - continuously/constantly. To the extent that the combination of snoring and body aches sent my wife to another room full time (she did give the bed 2 weeks & like me needed some sleep desperately). The biggest disappointment though is when trying to side sleep on it. Wow, thought trying to sleep on the back was bad. Side sleeping on this mattress takes it to a whole new level. All 3 areas being shoulders, hips and lower back suffered pain at much greater levels, not possible to count how many times moved from side to side (I should mention here that the shoulder pain was alleviated somewhat in the back sleeping position). So the fall back option of side sleeping for us wasn’t so. Our assessment is that mattress sinks/sags and takes the body out of alignment and could do with something to give some support.

Pain and very little sleep is not what we wanted from this new bed, but it gave it to us in Abundance.

We haven’t left our full details here as we’re too embarrassed and feel that we’ve fallen for a slick marketing campaign. The suggestion of relieving pain was too much to resist.

The bed was certainly comfortable for us to lay on at the Agfest event we attended, for a little while, but most definitely is not good for us to sleep on.

Not sure what we’ll do with the bed now. We’ve reverted to sleeping on our old water bed in another room. Still have to previous aches and pains but we do get some acceptable sleep.

Unfortunately we’re stuck paying it off over the next 2&1/2+ years as there’s no “sleep night guarantee”. This should have been a red light warning for us as even something like the Super Sleeper Pro has that!

We would like to mention here that all the Better Living contacts with dealt with have been both professional and pleasant.

Be super careful considering this bed. If you do, we genuinely hope you have a great outcome.

Initially I discovered most retail store personnel knew little about their beds, their specifications or even their weight limits or even their warranties and were prepared to sell me something unsuitable. This was also evident with some online retailers. In contrast to this, the staff at Better Living Australia, in particular Gary Fiddes knew all about their custom products, were most helpful without being pushy and understood the needs of the customer and their specific health needs. Pricing was competitive and delivery to regional Victoria was timely plus the setup process was professional. Mine was setup at home whilst I was away in hospital with an unrelated health issue which was life threatening and required some weeks in Intensive Care and follow-up “Hospital at Home” program. To arrive home from hospital and to sleep (and I mean really sleep) in my new bed with personal adjustments to suit my needs was heaven on earth and my recovery has been aided by my comfort and better sleep and also to be pain free has been wonderful. My experience makes it obvious that I value my new bed and value the assistance throughout the purchase process with Better Living Australia.

like a soft mattress and have tried both of yours to no avail. I even spent the last 2 nights back in my old bed just to catch up on sleep to return again to try again with your bed but again lack of comfort and pain prevail hence here I am at 2.40AM writing this! Your company should certainly offer a free 30 day risk free trial for such an expensive time that clearly is not suitable for all. I’m very upset as I have purchased this via the payment option and have only paid one instalment so still 3 years left to pay for a product that is clearly unsuitable for me! back pains, and my favourite fuction is the adjustable part as I am able to sit up with comfort or lay a certain way with feet elevated if need be.

mornings when I get up and we both have a better quality of sleep. My only complaint is the poor quality of delivery service. The freight company contracted to BLA have poor communication skills. We made numerous calls to get an eta on the delivery of our bed but they were unable to supply us with this information. My husband eventually drove the 2 hours to the warehouse and picked it up himself. My advice to BLA, get a new freight contractor.

Perfect for me – During last year I was diagnosed with 2 different cancers. I found my adjustable bed helped me so much after my operations. I could put it in any position whether it was getting on the bed or getting out. Also my bed helped me to have the right position when I had my drains in. Plus, how much does a regular mattress cost, are they as comfortable as this bed (definitely not) and how often do you need to replace the mattress because it goes saggy? credit to the Company. We love the bed. My Wife has the firm mattress side and I have the soft one. So easy to operate. Love the light feature which is a boon when getting up in the dark. The Company seems really committed to giving good service so don't be put off ( as I was at first) from buying at a show. 10 year warranty. Good quality. Amazing pillows with simple adjustment by adding or subtracting filling! Perfect for my Wife after years of trying other pillows.
