I thought it was just out of warranty. Unfortunately, even though the staff at Tempur were polite, they couldn't help, saying a different manufacturer in Germany made the base back then. I emailed Germany and they responded giving me the Australian contact which I think was the same one I was speaking to previously. Anyhow have given up for now on servicing my base.

I appreciate the frustration others feel with the lack of service! I thought it would be easy because I was happy to pay!!!

Latex adjustable bed – Very comfortable but does take a few weeks to get used to so be patient. Now that I have my comfort setting right I’m happy with the result. Tip - Making the bed is easy if you raise the ends especially if you are old like me and use fitted sheets.o Show details ·  1

perfectly we also purchased their King Split Glide Adjustable Base. These products are altogether some of the best purchases we have ever made. The adjustable base is a must have.... it is truly amazing and we like that it has ultra flat panels on the top of the base with no ability for the king mattress to be uneven in the middle plus multi adjustable height legs, preset positions for anti snore and zero gravity. It is very good quality with a heavy duty (non flimsy) solid base that is upholstered and well made. We are happy also with the long warranty on our purchases. We had previously purchased over the years various brands beds and bases to try to achieve some sleep comfort and now finally with our sleep products from this company we get a great nights sleep!! Their pillows are the best too..... no more sore backs or necks..... fantastic. We found the staff at L.M.A. are very good to deal with and the company that delivers the mattresses for them is incredible. They delivered in record time and completely set up the base, fully synced to our king size latex mattress. Very happy!! Totally recommend the adjustable base/ mattress/ pillows. On balance, the Glide Adjustable Electric Base has been a positive purchase – The biggest advantage of the Glide Base is that we can tilt the head of the bed when remaking the bed. that just-right comfy spot. We have tried the massage function a few times but upon reflection could probably have done without it. The lighting function has barely been used as the bedside light or a torch are more convenient during the night. The adjustable height of the bed is an attractive design feature. The Glide Base is quite heavy, resulting in a very stable sleep. A downside is that rearranging the room is a challenge. We should have purchased a bed-head before installing the base as installation is also proving a challenge. Overall, the purchase of the Glide Adjustable Electric Base has been positive.

A great companion to the latex mattress – The adjustable base has helped my neck and shoulder pain just by raising the bed up enough to sink in. We have noticed our latex mattress is more comfortable on the adjustable base, compared just a slat base. Better than expected – I replaced an old bed base to better suit my recently purchased latex mattress. I didn't really think I needed the adjustability feature of the new base but to my surprise not only do I find it useful the base itself has made the already excellent mattress even more comfortable. A most enjoyable change! – After years and years of another mattress style etc, the change to Latex and adjustable base beds (2 singles)has been so much better that one could imagine! Comfortable - adjustable- each party can control their own requirement and still adjust at anytime. I am so happy I purchased the Electric Adjustable Base – I purchased my latex mattress and the electric adjustable base earlier this year. I use the base to easily place the mattress into the gravity free position each night before I go to bed. It is only after sleeping in the zero gravity position that is can be fully appreciated. Show reply

Australia’s climate. It’s incredibly comfy and supportive. And it’s really well made, with a number of sturdy handles that make turning it easy. The mattresses aren’t cheap but I didn’t have a moment of buyer’s remorse - in fact I’ve been encouraging friends and family to invest in one. It’s also made a slow and steady difference to a lower back problem. The service has been impeccable, from Sam in the store right through to the delivery guys.

Really comfortable, it’s my new happy place – I bought a queen size non split base and paired it with a Trio Latex mattress..eventually. I hoped to get away with just the mattress but finally gave up and got the base too. I have an injury that affects my back and hips causing pressure points and general discomfort. bed itself is really heavy so have it delivered and installed. The movement is smooth and quiet and the base holds the mattress in place securely. The base is a wall hugger, (base moves backwards as it raises to keep your bedside table within reach) however this isn’t really effective until you are in full sitting up position. This isn’t a comment on this base in particular as they are all restricted by the presence of a wall. Wall hugger bases are less effective than I expected, retrieving things from my bedside table is an adventure. It’s also very high, like Destination Sleeping, I like it but it took some getting used to. Best not to drop things. The remote is good, there are 3 presets, not sure if they can be adjusted. I use the zero g position all the time. The massage function is nice and turns itself off if you fall asleep with it going. It’s surprisingly relaxing.

It was expensive but worth it. I love it and the cat is coming to terms with it.

There is nothing like a very confortable bed – I don't think you really appreciate what a comfortable bed is - until you have to sleep on an average bed. Having an electric adjustable base turns the bed into a place to just relax and read at any time of the day. Money well spent!  Show details
