Upgraded from B5000 and it's ok – Our trusty B5000 finally bit the bullet and retired with massive leaking. Quadra Plus unit from my previous office. They was going to swatch to the Zip Hydro so they were pulling. Offered bit over hundred for the unit alone and took it with me. Since the B5000 tap was not compatible I had to wait for yet another few months before I was able to pick up NIB XL tap from the plumber whos customer changed the mind on the colour of tap and he wanted to get rid of it quick,. Another hundred bucks later I had all the components to swap out the units.

I left the B5000 font in place and replaced the tap and swap out the faulty B5000 with the Quadra Plus unit. connected the pipes and etc. and put in the spare filter I had for B5000. Powered on and it worked! Well worked for 5 months until the chilled water flow suddenly dropped. Now the chilled water flow is bit more than dribbling while the boiled water flow is just fine. After various check and what not it looks like the water flow control for chilled water is either faulty or on its way out. Looks like the service call is in order - except the COVID-19 lockdown restriction.

Will update when the lockdown ends and I can call in the service technician to replace the flow control unit.

really cold, filtered water as well as boiling water. We opted for an additional filter on our mixer tap for ambient filtered water. This unit has the benefit of a timeclock to turn on/off for powersaving.

Just be aware of the need to and cost of replacing the filter annually before buying. As for filter replacement the process is straightforward.

Billi is the worst company I have ever experienced – They put a mechanism to block the chilled water. It is said to remind you to change the filter. After a new filter is installed, the flush will unblock the chilled water. But their design is so laughable. The chilled water keeps being blocked no matter how many new filter you put on. They get pay through your nose by calling them in to change a… Read more

tube inside. The chilled water keeps blocking once a new regardless of the state of filter. Filter is also expensive. Over the phone, they promise if it is the same blocking issue as last year, they wont charge, but the tech charges you regardless. Hate it.

Billi service – Have had an awesome service experience this week. Called the office and spoke to Joe, (tops guy) and he had a technician out next day. Mine was a simple fix, and hope this will work for another 3 years with out any problems like it has previously. Technician was all over and polite!

Crap unit never buy Billi – This is the second replacement unit we have had installed. We just got the solenoid changed a week ago {$350} & now the hot water trickles on its own, how dangerous. I can't have people at the sink anymore as it does it on its own. I would never recommend a billi hot water unit not even to my worst enemy.

Very handy – Our Billi lives in an office and services about 100 people daily. It has been a very popular addition to our kitchen. After about 2 months I noticed a reduction in the flow output which turned out to be because Billi needed a filter change. Once the filter was changed Billi was back to full output. Fast access to boiling water at one touch The life of the filter was less than i would have thought

Reliable unit – Fantastic unit. Great to sterilize baby bottles without burning my hand. the fact that i can control the hot water flow is really beneficial. i would highly recommend this unit in a hospital environment as the one in royal children hospital (competitor) kept burning peoples hand, and have to hold two switches instead of one lever

Not fuctioning properly – We have a Billi Hot and Cold water system installed in the office. It is a brand new office and new Billi Unit installed. The system has broken down 3 times in the last 7 months. The repair response is so slow (nearly 3-4 days minimum) that we have to cater for permanent alternate arrangement as well. repair technician takes 3-4 days to attend to the service call. I have tried contacting the specific office for maintenance package and have no response in spite of 3 calls and also an email.
