Billion BiPAC 8900AX-2400

Billion BiPAC8900AX-2400 Modem Router – This in my first impression after just setting up the Billion BiPAC8900AX-2400 modem router on Aussie Broadband to replace the NetComm NF18ACV which was dead. Since there is no review on this product on Productreview.com.au, I hope this will help. The user interface is not fancy but it works. Vincent from Aussie Broadband did a very good job in helping me to setup it and connected to Aussie BB backbone in 15 minutes, although he said there is no documentation in Aussie BB for this product. WiFi strength is good that it could cover upstairs bedrooms with no issue. My house has quite good insulation so WiFi signal is always a challenge. This one passed the test. One thing to be aware is starting up after firmware update seemed to be a bit slow. It took a couple of minutes, but once it's up and running, it's fine. Since it's just 1+ hours being used, I can not tell about the stability although it's good so far. Will try to update the review later to see how it goes. Stay tuned.
