1 Lpen  · Blooms Pharmacy Toormina – I bought the Bioglan sleep tablets and they are useless, even taking 5 didn't work. Waste of money.
1 Kalsi  · Most useless product.... overpriced....and completely ineffective – Won't help with any symptoms, not a sleep aid at all.....please save your money!
1 Luke S.  · Wish I read the reviews – The best thing about this product is the laugh you have reading all the one star reviews. Don’t waste your money.
1 David  · Garbage – Waste of money. Gave heartburn and had no effect on sleep.
1 Sleepy  · Just throw away your money instead! – You will get more sleep knowing you deliberately set your money on fire than trusted Bioglan Melatonin to help.
1 Mar  · Awful – This stuff made me break out in the most horrible hives. Do not buy this. Not natural. My head swelled up as did my ears . Hives all over my body.

Not effective – Don’t waste your money, this tablet has no effect, very very low dose of Melatonin, I should have read the reviews first - this will not help you to sleep it’s a placebo. Rating is not even one but I could not submit without a star Show details

Placebo and Shonky Award winner – These tablets are essentially a placebo. Wish I’d done my research before wasting my money and putting my trust in Chemist Warehouse staff. Didn’t matter how many I took there was no result, and my thoughts were confirmed when I found that these tablets were awarded the 2018 Choice Shonky Award. I would suggest anyone using these tablets and… Read more

believing they are successful should look at other lifestyle changes they have made as being the improvement of sleep.

If it is too good it will be taken out of the market – I have used the old formula by Bioglan which is now (Nov 2020) no longer available and it was excellent. You sleep deeply and wake up rested without feeling drowsy in the morning and it was non-addictive as many medicines are. It was only $6. It was inexpensive and too good, hence it's been taken out of the market and replaced with new ineffective… Read more

formula not under the original name of 'Melatonin' but 'Sleep Easy' or similar (a placebo) at double the price for the consumer to spend more. It's what marketing does to you these days. When something is too good it is taken out of the market and replaced by something of a lesser quality so the consumer keeps 'buying'. Pharmas and 'consumerism' go hand in hand. Be aware and do your research. Excercise is best for me now. Goodbye to the tablets.

Side Effects & Doesn’t Work – Some nights it doesn’t work at all, other nights I go to sleep for an hour and feel restless & irritated all night. After a week of taking them, I got a Nauseous feeling. So I looked up side effects and also seen the reviews and saw so many 1 Star. I was hoping eventually they will work but I Will stop taking them now & this nauseous feeling is also becoming unbearable. Show details

I wish l had read reviews before purchase – I asked chemist worker for something to help me sleep recommended Bioglan sleep tablets, after reading instructions was surprised they said to chew 3 to 5 tablets, but did so but found they did nothing at all. Does not work + bad side effects – Bought these sleeping tablets several days ago to help with restless sleep. After taking then had problems falling asleep (which was not an issue before) felt even more restless and had a splitting headache during the night. Tried them 2 nights in a row, same effect the 2nd time. Show details

Waste – Doesn’t work at all, no noticeable change. Pharmacist said it would be too diluted. Should have listened. Have slept worse using this, would not recommend - will get a script for proper dose. Show details

Rubbish and a waste of money – Does not contain sufficient active ingredients to have any noticeable effect. I have used moelotonin before and it works - this product Certainly DOES NOT. You may need to consume the entire bottle to notice a benefit. Show details

I wish I had done my homework first:-( – I was on melatonin because of surgery Decided to buy cheaper brand, thought Bioglan was a reputable brand I wish I read the reviews before buying It helped me sleep for maybe one hour - then I woke up feeling restless What a waste of money I’m really surprised it is allowed to be sold Show details

Homeopathic rubbish! – Melatonin cannot be bought in Australia without a prescription, which I now know. Despite the huge letters, "MELATONIN", on the label, this has as much melatonin in it as a glass of water. It is a loophole allowing them to appear to be selling a substance that is actually so diluted that it doesn't count. It doesn't count for the authorities who… Read more

would otherwise ban it for actually containing Melatonin, and it doesn't count to your over-active brain at night. It is a con, through and through, and everyone should be made aware of it. I repeat... THERE IS ***NO*** ACTIVE MELATONIN IN THIS PRODUCT. None. Zilch. We are all being conned and, if they would do this for one produce they would do it for their others. Avoid the company's products at all costs because -- after this con-job -- why wouldn't you?

Has no active ingredients. Most expensive sugar you can buy – This product cannot work. It has no active ingredients. Its just sugar and milk powder. 6c means 1 gram in one million million grams. That's 0.5 mls in Sydney Harbour. It should not be sold as a remedy for anything. The only way it would cause sleep is if a diabetic ate a bottle & had a diabetic coma

Bad side effects – Took this for approximately two weeks at the minimum dosage, made me sleep walk, confused and eventually urinated on the floor as I didn't know where I was. Very scary and stopped taking it immediately. Show details

Am sceptical of everything....but it works for me – Very few things I buy Have worked for helping my horrendous sleep problems....till this...of ALL things! From a Chemist!! I’m sooooo suprised that my sleep is actually that...sleep and therefore I’m not nearly as irritable during the day. Some reviews say it doesn’t work.....maybe so, but what ever was wrong with me, it’s helped no end. Lisa Show details

Do not buy this failed Bioglan melatonin – This Bioglan product does not work at all. Got headaches instead and no sleep. We hate this product and now company. Wasted 19.99 of our hard earn money for nothing. I used Melatonin products in the US for over the last five years after my divorce. So I know this chemical very well. However, this product from Bioglan DOES NOT work at ALL. My… Read more

husband was so angry that we got persuaded to buy this 19.99 bottle and doesn’t even help our sleep schedule. It gave me headaches. I stayed up for hours and fell asleep naturally. It must really be a placebo because it doesn’t work and they have the audacity to take $20 for it? I will never purchase any Bioglan products and make efforts to tell people in the chemist stores about the terrible brand. I feel so sorry for Australians who lose money over this failure product and they don’t have better options. I regret not purchasing a huge Costco bottle from the US before coming here.

If it worked, it would be illegal – I used melatonin quite a while ago, while it was still an over the counter medicine. To my understanding it changed to prescription only, so I was pleasantly surprised to see it back on the shelf. I tried it for a week, before not noticing any effect and searching online to see if Bioglan was a reputable supplier, and found out this product won a… Read more

shonky, and it was the second time the company had won such a dishonour.

I am now dead set against buying any BioGlan or Nature's Way products (owned by the same company) and when I see them on friend's kitchen or bathroom benches, I point out the Shonky awards that those companies have been "awarded".

Placebo is a wonderful effect. Apparently, for some psychosomatic diseases, some people will continue taking the sugar pill even after being told it has no biological effect, because it works for them. If that's you, good on you, and I am not saying BioGlan should not be prevented from selling it for that reason. However, I feel claiming it is a homeopathic preparation without disclosing there is no active ingredients remaining in the product (only that was used and diluted out in the manufacturing process) is deceptive, and worthy of the Shonky.

Boycot BioGlan products folks. When you put chemicals in your body, you need absolute trust in the provider. This one betrayal is enough for me to avoid the company and all its alternative brands for good.

Works for me – This product has worked for me. I still wake up periodically through the night but always straight back to sleep. According to my fit bit tracker the quality and length of my sleep has improved significantly. It did take about a week to kick in. It would be nice to know what dose of melatonin is in the pills. Show details

Trialing it. So far promising – I don't tend to have trouble falling asleep. It's staying asleep that's the issue. No matter what time I fall asleep I wake from between midnight to 3am sometimes with trouble getting back to sleep. A friend let me try a week's worth 3mg prescribed melatonin capsules. It seemed to get me through a longer sleep stretch of the night, waking closer… Read more

to 5am.

Have substituted bioglan homeopathic melatonin pills since friend's trial supply ran out (with a time gap in between). 1 tablet didn't work, 2 tablets seems to get me past the 3am mark getting a longer stretch of sleep period. Have noticed skipped nights waking at 2am in contrast. Haven't tried it for long though. Maybe 2 weeks on and off.

Ineffective product – This product has given no improvement in sleep quality. There is no indication on the label on Mg per tablet, just an instruction to chew 3-5 tablets 30 minutes before bedtime. May as well chew mints without the flavour. Don’t waste your money Show details

Pretty good, would buy again – Sweet flavour. 5 sprays is a lot though, so you go through the bottle quickly. It doesn't seem to help me get to sleep, but it does help with having a more restful sleep....once I actually fall asleep. So for that I'd totally buy it again Show details
