Waste of money

Crap and not worth the money. Does a p*ss poor job at vacuuming. Can't get in along the skirting boards, you need to use a broom to get the crap up off the floor, which just voids the need for a vacuume in the first place. The mop function saves some time while you're there vacuuming for sure, but then it takes 2 days to clean the bloody thing after every single use. If you don't clean it every time, the fabric brush inside the vacuumed starts smelling moldy and moist, which will take over your entire house. It leaks dirty water all over my floors afterwards too, so you end up having to clean the floors twice. Absolute waste of money. Show details

Love this product - absolute time saver

We have 4 little dogs, so I was desperate to find something to cut down my cleaning time.
I don’t tend to use on our carpets as I use our Bissell ProHeat, but I use the Crosswave on our porcelain tiles and rugs. It does a great job, is easy to use and leaves the house smelling really fresh. It vacuums and mops in one go and I never have to touch up any left over hair etc. TIP: To avoid streaking make sure you do not put too much product in. Show details

Parts are flimsy

* UPDATE

Bissell will not send me a free foot even though the two I've purchased both broke in the same place. I won't be buying another Bissell product. Very poor customer service

I love the machine and it works pretty well. I do find if you don't clean the underside whilst you are cleaning, there are streaks. But that's been on a pretty dirty floor. I've replaced the foot window assembly twice already. (Had the machine about 3 years, the part is $30-50!) I've asked Bissell for a replacement foot free of charge. But I won't hold my breath Show details

Rubbish

This mop is absolute garbage. Doesn’t suck up hair just pushes it around the floor. Mopping function leaves dirty water all over the floor even after a thorough clean. The vacuum needs cleaning mid vacuum due to the poor suction. I’ve never had a vacuum that requires so much cleaning. It’s heavy with an extremely short cord. Waste of $$$. Show details

Don't waste your money

Was extremely hopeful for this wet vac but am let down. Minimal suction, doesn't pick up pet hair just pushes it around in front of the vac. Have cleaned all components and still the same. Doesn't reach to corners of the floor and the mopping function leaves muddy water everywhere. It is also hard to clean and when the water gets into the dust bin from mopping it stinks out the whole vacum. Very disappointing especially with its high price tag. Certainly would not recommend this product. Show details

Review Bissell Crosswave pet

I use Crosswave on wooden floors and rugs. It’s performs poorly. Leaves wheel and water marks on floors. It is very heavy and can’t get into corners and skirting edges Leaves stubborn stains on floor. Hard to disassemble and clean Need to buy extra filters frequently. Overrated and expensive. Wish I’d brought a mop and bucket Show details

Was faulty within warranty period

It was great for about 6 months and then just stopped sucking up the water and left water all over the floor. I took good care of it but it stuffed up . Harvey Norman has replaced it with no fuss to the cordless mop. Will review that in a few goes Show details

Very average clean

This cleans ok though not close to edges, l had an issue with my pump and Bissell said they don’t sell spares for inside parts, then upon objecting said didn’t have a pump, it’s 2 years old and they would prefer it put in land fill than swap a $30 pump over which l sourced over seas Show details

Good UNTIL THE END. Then just try getting some service

Only worked for 2 years, then spent another 11 months at an authorised dealer. HOPELESS. I even tried ringing Bissell myself a couple of times. Coudn't get past the answering service. VERY POOR BISSELL.
I will never buy another Bissell product. Show details

Its Good Until it is Not!

These guys only offer a 2 year warranty, and ours had an electrical fault after 2 & half years, they could not assist with this. I was further advised this is common for this model. The repair is almost the cost of a new one. I have since purchased a different brand. Would never buy another Bissell product. Show details

Don't recommend

Don't recommend any products by Bissell... Bought this vacuum, 2 years later it broke still within warranty, took 4 months for customer service to get back to me and they sent me a new one. It's too heavy and clunky, doesn't vacuum well at all, won't pick up anything heavier than dust.. Spreads on carpet instead of sucking up the dirt and fluff. I've had KMART vacuums work better than this $400 one... Show details

I have a Crosswave pet cleaner and somehow there is a crack where the clean tank connects to the machine causing the liquid to pour onto the floor. Can this part be replaced and would anyone know what this part is called?
Thanks in advance
