I have the same problem. What can be done about it. I love this carpet cleaner not used much. The trigger seems to be not working as the water just gushes out even without me pressing the trigger
If its under warranty still, return for refund..if your having problems after so little use, that should tell you something, they are rubbish...trigger is stuck..

Somewhere its stuck in open, u can take it apart everywhere very easily and check, alternatively, trash it, like I did mine.

Its shot...or you have a buggered power chord...any cost to repair will be more than the machine is worth...please just stay away from Bissell, take it apart and check the guts and its quality.Very poor.
Do you still have warranty? Don't try to fix it yourself it can be dangerous if you don't know what you are doing. Give Bissell a call.
Brand new one, used once , a trigger problem I think. No water squirting out at times. I re adjust the water bottle and it starts working again for a bit. Pretty annoying. so is it the trigger or water bottle. ? Old one was great. Daughter has it now. :(

Does anybody else have a problem with how grotty the dirty water reservoir gets? I rinse it after every wash over but it's just getting grittier by the room. Any advice on cleaning it will be most appreciated.
Ive only used it a few times, so do not have a problem yet. It is still clear looking. Im not sure I understand what you mean by "grittier". Do you find the dirty water reservoir gets a film built up on the inside, or something like that, which is not possible to remove due to it being on the inside?
I have exactly the same problem. Ours is a few years old and despite being cleaned after every use, there is a build up of grime inside it and even a bit of algae as you can't dry it either. I'd love to know if there is a way of cleaning it out.
How does one get the water to flow from the reserviour to the tank....?Can't seem to get anywhere.
Wen I hold the water bottle up and turn upside down, no water flows out.
Hi, I think I understand your question. The water doesn't flow until you click it into place on the machine. There must be a valve activated when it's in place. You'll love it once you get it working. Good luck.
have been trying for 5days to get through to bissell as my pet washer is just 1year old been use 3 times and did a good job went to use it the other day and the water from the tank just runs straight out empties in a few seconds how and where do I get it fixed

After cleaning my carpets using the correct solution, there were streak marks left all over the carpet - it seems to be where the solution comes out of the nozzles, thought I used it right, but after several vacuums the streaks are still there, what can I do? I need to do something to make the carpets look respectable - they looked better dirty.
You might have not cleaned the bottom of machine dirt will stick on brushes etc re do carpets making shure machine is clean

No, vacuum the carpet first, but you will find the Powerbrush picks up a lot of hair and grit and the waste water will contain some grit.

Please can anyone help? I have a Bissell Pet Wash Powerbrush Model 2080-F. Used only once. Cannot find manual. Trying to figure out how to put water and formula into the Clean Water tank which is a sealed unit. Do I force the black seal (on the clean water end) off?
