Reviewing the Earth Kingdom Burned Velvet Princess Jumpsuit from the most recent Avatar collection. I love it, it’s the perfect colour that sets off my red hair. Theres so many styling options, I’ve paired it here with the robe from the first Avatar collection, platform thongs and a necklace I got in India. The fabric is lovely, burned with almost a bit of a sparkle in it when you look closely.

I’m wearing an M and the fit is perfect, this is my usual size in most things. I probably could have sized down to a small but this is fine. Unlike a lot of BM pants the legs aren’t actually too long, I need to get the Rio jumpsuits turned up, but this one I won’t need to, which is a huge bonus (I’m 173cm tall).

I originally asked for advice in the groups before buying it and it appeared no one had it and the reviews were really mixed, one 5 star and one 2 star at the time. I’m glad I grabbed it but can see both points of view.

Firstly, if you’re a long torso girlie, this probably isn’t going to be for you. I don’t have a long torso and it’s a bit clingy around the crotch area. Secondly, and probably obviously it’s all one very light colour, so in the places it does cling (around the hips on me) it shows up every lump and ripple so if you’re self conscious about that maybe size up.

I’m reviewing the silhouettes black pants because Honestly these are one of the most comfiest pair of black pants I’ve ever tried on in my life. The elastic on the back of pants is a genius idea.. from the front they look like normal professional: work/ going out pants, but with the stretchy waist band at the back- they just fit nice. Doesn’t matter how much you eat there’s no worry about your pants being too tight. They’re a great length, they’re high waisted which I love. I own & keep buying tops that are crop length, but half the time at age 40 my mind gets scared and I never end up wearing them, these pants are the solution to that issue. My 62 year old mum liked the look of them too so she tried them on, she had extensive abdominal surgery in the past so tight waist bands are a no go, she was really happy with these as the elastic means absolutely no pressure on stomach area at all & they’re high waisted, so now I have to get her a pair some stage. These are that stretchy that I do recommend sizing down from normal size, sticking to recommended size would still be ok if you want too as there is a belt loops. The wide legs on these are on par with the old bm wide leg pants- which are one of my all time fav pants from Blackmilk. The material is of good quality & feel too. I absolutely love these pants and hope to see this exact style continued with dif prints & detailing, as the stretchy waist band means this style is very inclusive with sizing too.
