Blackview

Asked for help, got attitude. Asked for escalation, got ignored. Asked for accountability, got blocked. If you ever wondered what it looks like when a company avoids accountability at every possible step, Blackview provides a very clear example. After experiencing an issue with my device, I attempted to resolve it through their support channels and requested escalation. Instead of help, I was met with increasingly poor communication.
Joanna (sales manager) stood out for all the wrong reasons — consistently rude, dismissive, and at times unnecessarily aggressive. Any attempt to move the issue forward was effectively shut down.
When the case reached Canthy, the customer support manager, the situation somehow got worse — communication stopped completely. After I requested a copy of their complaints procedure and asked for details of their regulatory body, I was simply ignored from that point on.
And to round it off, their Facebook representative chose to block me rather than address the issue. That alone says more about their approach to customer service than anything else.
There are also ongoing concerns raised by users in Australia about network compatibility with some Blackview devices, particularly around maintaining VoLTE connectivity. Considering that this can impact basic calling functionality, including emergency calls, it’s not something that should be taken lightly.
Between the rude communication, refusal to escalate, complete lack of response once accountability was requested, and being blocked for raising a legitimate issue, this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had.
Proceed with caution.
- Product Purchased: BV6200
So I purchased a black view bv6200plus phone from kogan and have only had it two weeks So far the charger has stopped working and wifi calling doesn't seem to work and any blue tooth headset I plug in the mic doesn't seem to have any volume So I got in contact with the aust support people and got told since I bought it from kogan they won't deal with any warranty issues hmm that's poor have since got in contact with the Hong Kong head office and am waiting to hear there response would have thought that they may care more about the product not where it is purchased from
Blackview can't be trusted – Sold a second hand phone as brand new, worked less than a year. Advised me to send back to repair, I spent $36.00 on registered mail. They claimed that they were waiting for parts to repair at first and then didn't even bother to respond. After 6 mails in one and a half months, I gave up. Turned to eBay, they only advised me to go to Fair Trading to complain. Terrible experience. ( My broken phone is still with them)If there is any doubt of my experience, I can provide all necessary proof.
Beware warranties not honoured – I bought this phone because I have young kids who like to test strength of things they can get their little hands on. While the phone is tough, its one glaring weakness is its charging port. I had trouble charging it almost from the first month I bought it and was going to send it back for a refund but the seller convinced me to try a different charger and it worked ok for awhile. If only I had gone with my gut and sent it back, I would probably not be in this mess. The phone is supposed to come with a 2 year warranty but when I contacted the seller within the 2 year warranty period to make a claim, he basically ghosted me.
