were extremely pleased with Blag Homes in every aspect of our build process, and struggled to fault them at all. Everyone from the Blag Homes team were knowledgable, genuine, and supportive of us, and their team were available at any time to assist; from answering any questions we had about progress, alleviating our concerns about supply shortages, through to catering for variations that we decided upon at the last minute.

For our own peace of mind, we engaged with a highly reputable third-party independent building inspector to assess progress and search for faults during each stage of build completion. There were some very minor issues that came up in our inspection reports (as all new build projects would have), however the on-site team were extremely accommodating to have these resolved prior to the next stage of completion, and would even liaise directly with our contracted inspector to ensure that we were getting a great result for our money. After moving into the house after completion, there were a small handful of minor issues (mainly cosmetic in nature) that were discovered, of which the Blag Homes team were happy to resolve for us in the first instance of attending the home - without any issues or fuss, and with a quick turnaround.

Our friends and family (and even our building inspector) have all commented on the high quality finish that has been put in place by the Blag Homes team, which we have been told is comparable to higher end "boutique" builders (for which you will be paying 2x to 3x the cost to achieve). We are extremely happy with our end result - being a home that was conpleted to our requirements that we will be enjoying for many years to come. I would highly recommend Blag Homes to anyone looking to either build a new home or renovate an existing one - you'll be very hard pressed to find better value, quality, or service in SA!

no response after 1 month 11/10/19 - Emailed Harris Real Estate to assist as there's still no response 21/10/19 - Received email from a Blag Homes staff to make arrangements for fixing Total 45 days to receive a response, not the actual fix, just a response.

Incident 2 6/1/19 - Email sent regarding broken pump 23/1/19 - Email sent as there was no response 23/1/19 - Emailed Harris Real Estate to assist, they were able to get in touch to Blag Homes and said someone will call me 28/1/19 - Emailed both Blag Homes and Harris as I still haven't receive any calls 29/1/16 - Received call from Blag Homes Total 23 days to receive a response

listened to all of our ideas, dealt superbly with the changes we made and was very prompt to get back to us. Once the construction started, we were kept well informed and had the opportunity to visit our home whenever we wanted. We were given plenty of time to think about the entire decision before signing the building contract and we never felt pressured to do anything we did not feel comfortable doing!

company that wasn't well known, however when we met with the builder, who went through different projects and different ways of integrating our ideas, we were confident that we were making the right decision. We were given every opportunity to build the home WE wanted. Our ideas were implemented and discussed at length at the planning stage. It was very helpful being guided on how things would look/tie in with the vision we had and the most cost effective way of achieving that. Once the plans were close to finalisation, we were given a 3D image of what our home would look like- this made us more confident with the builder and the choices we were making along the way.

We were also given the opportunity to meet with an interior designer which was a plus. The only downfall was waiting to move into our new home, we were renting nearby and we would drive past our new home everyday anticipating the day we would get our key! The builder constantly communicated with us through the experience and was easily contactable which put us at ease. Most importantly, there were no hidden charges.

All in all, our first building experience was far less painful and stressful than we had imagined. Our home is everything we dreamed and more, the attention to detail is outstanding and the quality is impeccable. The quality final product definitely sets this builder apart from other builders.
