No problems, great van – We have had our Blue Sky caravan since 2010, bought it new & have enjoyed every trip we ever did in it. Very comfortable, very well built & easy to tow. We are now looking at downsizing as our needs are different now. We are now looking to perhaps buy another Blue Sky caravan. Thoroughly recommend them.

BEWARE! – We purchased this caravan in Darwin in early December, 2013 and took it back to Katherine where we were living at the time. Before we left Katherine I had the wheel bearings checked & serviced. The Engineer who performed the work called me 30 minutes later to return to his workshop to show me what he had found. When he removed the brake… Read more

drums on the back axle he found the right brake backing plate was on the left and the left brake backing plate was on the right (they were marked left & right) and both of them were mounted 90 degrees (quarter turn) from where they should have been (brake magnets we vertical instead of horizontal) and he believed that was the reason why the brake shoes on that axle had worn much more than the front axle.

That fixed, we headed for Kempsey, NSW. The next thing was the 240v RCD started tripping.

To cut a long story short, we got an electrician to inspect the van. After replacing the RCD the problem still existed. The electrician them started removing power points and was horrified by the workmanship! In his opinion he would lose his electrical licence if he was found to do this shoddy level of work. Wires had not been stripped properly and had screws through the insulation. Then the culprit was found (last power point).

A second power point had been installed on the same circuit as the first one and instead of wiring into the back of the first one all the wires were cut and joined with plastic caps and screwed together. This screw head had worn through a piece of foam on the inside of the body used for insulation and was shorting directly to the body from the metal screw! Tows well, Dometic fridge freezes in 40+ degrees, Dometic air con works well (if a little noisy), comfortable. Poor craftmanship through out, especially where you rarely look. Very little, if any insulation
