Bonningtons Irish Moss – This is the best cough medicine ever, I was so sad when I found out a few months ago that we can no longer purchase it in New Zealand. I’ve been using it for years, the most gentle cough mixture with no nasties. Please bring this back, sadly I now have a horrible cold, and have no idea what to use in its place. Best cough, sore throat syrup ever, no contest! – Great for asthma symptoms & clearing post nasal build up in the throat, there just isn't anything remotely similar. For those in the Sydney area I have found it in some Priceline stores, but you need to look around for it. The best cough medicine ever – Bonnington’s Irish Moss Cough Syrup has been bought by the Viatris company and we were told it will be back in production and back on the market in February 2024. UPDATE: 12/7/23 I contacted GSK Australia and they told me that bonnington's irish moss is now controlled by Viartis. Problem with lid – Medicine is great IF you can get the lid off, maybe it’s child proof? well it’s also adult proof too as a lot of older people don’t have much strength in their wrists like me, had to wait till this morning for son to take lid off, not buying it again as it’s TOO hard to open. Show details

excellent product but difficult to get the top off these days – I have found this product to be absolutely excellent for sore throat & difficulty breathing it clears my lungs which are sensitive to chemical fumes, smoke etc. My only criticism is that they have made the lids so terribly terribly difficult to open, and I'm unable to access what's inside the bottle without trying to find someone to help! wonderul – my mum gave this to me when I was sick as a kid in the 70's. (I used to get bad bronchitis) I am so happy they still make it with the same taste and formula. Bought this today on special for $5.00. I wouldn't be without it !

Not bad - soothes throat – Early gulps yet as I've just opened the bottle and am now doing some research on the stuff. So far its best effect is soothing a sore throat but it doesn't seem to suppress the coming cough which is what I want.

A very effective remedy – I have used bonningron irish moss for many years-i first heard a radio advertisement in association with 'mrs 'obbs.- a radio serial who sponsored it.Since then i have used it whenever i felt a cold coming on.Result? Very effective.
