So glad we bought it! – We've had this chair for nearly 8 years and I'm so glad we bought it. Our third child is now using it and it is still sturdy, safe and white. It was hard to get our eldest to vacate it when he grew too big. I appreciate the multidirectional wheels which mean I don't mind putting the chair away after meals and the flared base mean the wheels don't… Read more
get caught on other chairs.
My favourite thing about the chair is how easy to clean it is. We love it so much we bought 4 more chairs for Ronald MacDonald House in Parkville, Melbourne. Lots of families with kids with cancer now appreciate how practical easy to clean these chairs are. They also look fun!
Best and safest chair I have used – This is an attractive, comfortable and safe chair. It is suitable for a young baby to a two to three year old depending on their size. Very movable, easy to clean and best of all no legs to trip you. Worth every cent. As a grandmother it also looks stunning in my house and has been greatly admired by others.
Don't understand the hype!Overpriced and uncomfortable for my son – A friend recommended this chair but we still got it second hand (thank goodness) and my son's bottom was red after every sitting and you could tell he was uncomfortable. Imagine sitting on a hard plastic chair to eat every time! And the piece between the legs pushed right up on him too. The tray is small, so if you do any Baby led weaning you will… Read more
be spending the same amount of time cleaning up anyway around the floor, even if the chair is easy to clean. People talk about this like it is a car but we are talking about high chair's here! Think of how you want to eat and you'll understand when you see this chair. We only used it for a month then got a traditional padded one with large tray and my son loved it!
Just buy it! – This chair is the bomb!!! I wish I had bought this with my first baby! It pretty much ticks all my boxes. It's on wheels so I can move it about with ease. It has an excellent brake for stability (and with two older kids climbing and hanging off of it, it's very stable!) It goes up and down The tray is compact so it fits in the sink to wash… Read more
super easy (as well as having a plastic removable tray, so once bub has finished making a mess, but you want to keep them in it, you can easily click off the top tray to clean leaving bub with a clean tray and secure in chair). The tray slides and clicks in and out really easily and securely. And has two depths so as bub grows they can still fit in without the tray digging into their belly.
And the best thing ever for me, is that it is a breeze to clean!!! So so so so so soooo easy and quick!! The chair has a soft insert pad to make chair comfortable, but it is streamlined. No seams left with horrible crumbs that you have to dig around to get out (ugh!), no fabric that wears and tears with the rubbing and scrubbing trying to clean it. It is just gorgeous! A dream! I love this chair!!!
If there was anything at all, not negative, but I suppose, the only thing I miss about the old clunky highchair I used to have, was a place to stow the tray behind the chair when not in use, and a little basket under the chair to store things, like bibs (although being under the chair that too would get dirty with crumbs and food and I was constantly having to clean out, so not really missed, but it was handy).
This high chair is expensive, but it's the best. Totally worth it. Yes, yes, yes. I love it, if you can't tell! :)
worth every cent! – I was so excited when the Boon high chair arrived. Its the best thing ever! Worth every cent and couldn't live without it. Do yourself a favour and spend the money because its well worth it. Easy to clean Easy to use Safe Cool design Glides like a breeze on floor boards Excellent height adjustment Very hygienic. sleek design, easy to clean nothing!
Absolutely worth it! – Can't recommend this chair highly enough!! It's easy to clean, so far nothing has stained the tray or chair. Seat pad is easy clean and food doesn't getting stuck anywhere. Haven't tried the tray in the dishwasher (bit of overkill really) but a quick wipe down after meals and it's good to go for the next meal. Tray slides into place with a bit of… Read more
a jiggle and locks in but easy to remove one handed using locking mechanism underneath the tray. Should you ever need to get baby out in a hurry it's easy to do.
Very simple to get my baby in and out of the chair, the buckles are easy to click in and out and straps adjust readily. Having said that baby is secure in the chair and looks very comfortable. Haven't used pneumatic lift, yet only used it to initially set up the chair but I'm sure it will come in handy when we need to adjust the height as baby grows. Pneumatic lift requires pushing chair down with quite a bit of force and you need to be standing almost right on top of it for the mechanism to work, but I'm glad because it means if you depress the lift button your baby won't suddenly drop. Smooth glide wheels make moving the chair around with baby in it a breeze. The brake system works but doesn't entirely stop the chair moving, just makes it more difficult to move. Not sure if that's a fault with mine or I'm not pressing brake in enough? In any case it's not something that bothers me at all as my baby cannot move the chair.
Only slight negative is the straps do fall down on my baby's shoulders sometimes so positioning isn't ideal for a narrow baby but it's easy enough to fix by adjusting straps tighter. Also he's at the tallest strap height at 9 months old so I would prefer if they had more height straps.
I initially tried the fizz highchair from target but ended up buying this because it's so easy to use. Although this chair is expensive I personally am very happy with it and consider that it's worth it! Extremely easy to clean, buckle system easy to use one handed, straps readily adjustable, simple to use! Pricey, if I was to be picky there aren't enough strap heights for the chair.
Worth the price tag – Started with a cheapo ZuZu chair because I wanted something easy to clean but it was way too simple - no wheels, tray didn't slide towards child and was too far away from baby, no height adjustment to pull it up to the dinning table etc. - and to top it off my baby just did not look at all comfortable. Looked at the Boon and thought it looked… Read more · 1
great but didn't want to pay the price. After more research and a lot of contemplating we finally purchased and now I don't regret it one bit. 100 times better than what we started with.
Best feature is that it is super easy to clean!!
Was initially worried that it didn't recline at all and was quite upright but in reality this is not an issue because if the baby it old enough to be eating they should be sitting up straight anyway.
The tray is small which is certainly not a bad thing as it fits in the sink or dishwasher (lots of others I looked at wouldn't). Easy to clean. Looks modern. Doesn't take up too much floor space. Pricey.
Fantastic high chair – This high chair is fantastic! Expensive but worth every cent. We purchased this chair just before Christmas after using another high chair for the last 6 months. Our old chair was impossible to keep clean, so after reading reviews about how easy the Boon Flair was to keep clean we decided to buy one and I am so glad we did. The removable tray… Read more
covers are great, small enough to fit in the sink so easy to wash and also small enough for dishwasher. Chair is easy to keep clean with a simple wipe down and there are no crevices for food to get stuck (you can even easily wipe under the seat pad too). The tray has 2 different positions so you can have it in close as well as further away. There are also 2 different heights for the straps to suit both shorter and taller babies. We are thrilled with our Boon Flair. Easy to clean, sturdy, modern Expensive but worth it
Awesome chair, fantastic customer service – We love our Boon Flair highchair! It is ridiculously easy to clean which keeps it looking fantastic. We actually already had a highchair but hated cleaning the cloth cover, which is really needed after every meal. I could go on about this great product but one reason I love this chair is because the company has amazing customer service. We broke… Read more
our tray and wrote the company to ask about buying a replacement tray. They wrote back right away and promptly sent us a new one. I don't usually write reviews but while I already loved the product, I can not get over how wonderful is was to deal with this company. Worth every penny! Wasy to clean, looks great, 5 point harness and fantastic customer service
Love it! – This is a fantastic highchair. Baby sits up nice and high. Purchased for our first born after using one which baby became lost in - too deep! Looks stylish and very very easy to clean. My daughter still sits in this and she's 2.5 years when I'm cooking or just in the kitchen. It's easy to wheel around the house too. Highly recommend! Easy to clean, looks great, well worth the money Would be great a little cheaper - but well worth the money
Amazing high chair, so versatile! – Fantastic high chair! No fabric where food can get stuck like other high chairs I've seen. So easy to clean with no hidden corners/compartments, continuous plastic. Comes with removable sturdy plastic tray cover x 2; I've only used one so far after 6 months and it is still in great condition. Removable tray that locks into place with the… Read more
mechanism underneath the tray so that bub can't get himself out on his own
5 point safety harness that can be removed and washed
Pneumatic lift to raise and lower will be great as bub grows so that tray is able to be dropped to dining table height Easy to assemble and so easy to move around the room. I've even kept bub in the chair and wheeled him into the bathroom to watch and keep safe while I get his bath ready A little on the pricey side but totally worth it considering how much it has been used. Need to make sure the tray is locked in correctly on both sides by jiggling the tray, but if you use the harness there is no concern that bub will fall out if tray is not locked in by accident
Excellent – After purchasing a regular high chair for $120, we got so annoyed with it, food trapped everywhere and difficult to clean, tray way to big and everyone keeps bumping into it and then just after 1 year of regular use, the springs of the tray broke. This time I did my research and wanted the best and reliable out there. I came across Boon high chair… Read more
and instantly liked the look of it. I read the features and knew straight away to get it. The tray is nice and small, remember, kids don’t eat HUGE portions of food, and this exactly enough for a toddler. My 2 year old loved it when it arrived and its very comfy and the seat is very wide for even the chubbiest of toddler or baby to sit in. This is so easy to clean, including under the cushion part. It also has castor wheels so doesnt scratch our wooden floorboards - easy to clean (no food trapped)
- design
- functionality
- colours - does not recline
Excellent – I had a tripp trapp on laybuy & then realised that I really needed something height adjustable but wanted something sytlish & different. I can FULLY recommend the chair - I am VERY pleased with my purchase (so is my husband who normally doesn't comment on baby products!) Easily height adjustable, no cracks/joints for food to get stuck in, high back for support, dishwasher safe removeable tray cover. Only once choice of colour

Know better, choose better.
Excellent – I could not be more happy with this chair. There is a real lack of stylish high chairs on the market at the moment. I considered some of the other chairs around including the Stokke but after seeing a video on Youtube where a baby could easily tip himself over backwards I was reluctant to go that way. Also I found the Stokke hard to get the… Read more
baby in and out of. Similarly, the Ikea chair which is rgreat value and stylish is also hard to get the baby in and out of (especially if they are not co-operating!). Neither the Ikea nor Stokke chairs would be scratch-free on our wooden floors which the Boon Flair is.
The Bloom Fresco was the only other chair that appealed, but I found that it looked to be made of lower quality materials than the price should suggest and it is covered in polar-fleece type of material which is really impractical - can you imagine getting mashed potato out of polar fleece?
I do wish that the chair would go down just one centimetre more as it will just not fit under our new table, but this is a minor point really (and I knew this before I bought it). I love that I can wheel the baby over to the kitchen bench so he can watch me in the kitchen and then wheel him to the table to have his dinner. It is a breeze to wipe clean and the dishwashable insert trays are great. ALso, the baby cannot remove the insert trays, whereas some of the other high chairs we saw had insert trays that were not well fixed to the main tray meaning that the food you placed on there for your baby could end up on the floor, insert tray and all.
If you are intending to stow away your chair after use then this is not the right choice for you. I do not stow the chair partly because I have so many other things to do in the day I can't imagine folding a chair and carrying it to a cupboard to put away after every meal. But with the Boon Flair I think it looks so nice that it does not need to be hidden. It takes pride of place at the head of my table!
I love this chair and compared to the Bloom is it really well priced. I would definitely buy it again. looks great
easy to clean
castors make it easy to move around
two trays so you can use one and wash the other - why didn't anyone else think of this? I just wish it would drop down in height by one more centimetre!
Very happy with this product – I too didn't want a bulky high chair that didn't look good and was difficult to clean which is why I bought the Boon Flair. It is sooo easy to clean on a daily basis as there is no where for the food to hide. The belt and seat insert are easy to remove and put back for an even better clean. Also love the fact you get two table inserts so your can… Read more
use one while the other is being washed. Easy to wheel around from kitchen to dining table (on tiles).
Only minor critisisms but the seat insert is white and does get light staining from tomato based sauces if not wiped immediately. Also it would be nice if somehow the seat could recline as when I first started using it my little one had only just learned how to sit alone.
Excellent – Pricey, but if you can afford it, it is worth it. We found it for a pretty good price on the internet, and had it delivered. It wasn't much more expensive than the high end traditional high chair prices. So incredibly easy to clean. No creases or seams for food to get stuck in. Able to wheel my baby girl around in it with ease. The harness is… Read more
safe and secure, although was a little big for my baby when I first put her in it. The hydraulic height adjuster makes life very easy! It can also be used as a seat for a child when it is not used as a high chair. It doesn't recline, but that was not a problem for us
Expensive, But worth it if you care about how it looks and if you hate cleaning! – Excellent product. Very sturdy and beautiful design which will sit in kitchen proudly instead of looking ugly the way most highchairs do. There is so much to like about this chair, soft comfortable straps on harness, adjustable height, pedestal chair (so you don't have legs to trip over), easy to clean On the downside, it is still possible… Read more
to move the chair with brake on. (although with brake in place it won't roll away without applying some force..)
Also, it is a very heavy chair..but that is also what makes it sturdy. Great looks, means it blends beautifully with your decor, easy to clean
Best High Chair Ever!! – I know this chair is expensive but I have never regretted it for a moment. My 2.5yr old still insists on sitting in it to eat depsite the fact that she's old enough to sit on a booster seat or a little chair. It has been absolutely trashed at meal times with everything from baked beans, beetroot, banana, icecream, vegemite...etc and its all so… Read more
simple to clean. Mostly just needs wiping down but stubborn marks come off with some spray n wipe. Have washed the straps a few times. Love the fact its on wheels as can bring child to wherever the conversation is ie kitchen, lounge, dining etc. Easy to clean! comfortable for my child, easy to move around. expensive (but worth it)
I love this high chair – I bought this high chair about 3 years ago when my first son was about 6 months old. It has been used almost constantly since then with my second son currently using it. It is a great looking high chair but the best thing about it is it is so easy to clean. The chair is all one piece so it just wipes clean and the seat pad is easy to wipe too.… Read more
After using it for over 3 years the seat pad on my chair only has a couple of small stains. The tray also has removable liners that are easy to remove and can be put in the dishwasher. The harness can also be early removed and cleaned as well. I love the fact there are no seams or crevices for food to build up.
My first son used this chair until he was around 2 and a half, we just removed the tray and pushed it up to the table. The high adjustment and pedestal base makes this really easy to do.
I also love the fact it is on castors so I can move it easily around the house. easy to clean, looks great, easy to move around. expensive,
Good – I found the Flair easy to set up. It looks great and a lot of visitors comment on it. - Easy to clean food and vomit. - Provides free head movement. - Easily adjust height with foot pedal - The pedestal bottom means I don't trip over legs as I'm carrying baby away. - The safety harness latch is so smooth and soft to operate. I don't pinch… Read more
my skin opening and closing, like other high chairs, etc.
- Nice silky smooth straps on baby's skin.
- There are two washable tray liners. Which means you can still use while one is in the dishwasher. Very easy to clean. Soft safety buckles for no pinch opening/closing. Easy height adjust. 2 tray inserts. (1 in tray while the other in dishwasher). The brake pedal is not that good. Still moves backward and forward.
Only 2 tray positions. I'm worried how long my baby might last in this.
Excellent – Even though the style is not to everyones taste, we love it. My husband believes it to be our best purchase, he drags our daughter all over the house in it, to the verandah, the office you name it. I have used the traditional high chairs and they are so big and such a pain to clean, after using this I despise them! However, you must clean up mess… Read more
soon after finishing eating otherwise the cushioned seat can get stained, however that is easily removed with some domestos I found (enjo marble paste didnt really cut it). Also, the tray is quite small in comparison to traditional high chairs, but again we havent found it to be an issue, we like it.
We highly recommend this high chair, it is fantastic We love this high chair. Height adjustable, two trays, easy to clean, so easy to clean - we dont even use the harness even though as other reviewers mentioned it is lovely and soft easy to remove to chuck in the wash if needed.. Fantastic for small spaces with no legs jutting out to trip over Only con and is that it doesnt recline, but that is needed for such a short time that we didnt find it an issue.
