Great service – The boys at Border Bikes are fantastic. they said i might need a few items as they were servicing my e-bike. I said just get them. As it turned out i didnt need half the parts and they were honest enough to say i didnt need, even though they specially ordered the parts on my say so. absolutely 100 percent recommend this shop.

Best bike retailer on Gold Coast Northern NSW – Purchased an e-city Smartmotion ebike from them in September 2017. First service after 200km went well all small adjustments made and explained. experienced riders than myself. After about 500km I had intermittent electrical problems and returned to the dealer, problem addressed under warranty and off I went. A few weeks later I hit a tree branch and it jammed into the frame knocking the electrics out, back to the dealer and fixed straight away. Problem with punctures in the rear wheel (which contains the drive motor) after rough roads up in Lightning Ridge and again in Bowen, proved difficult for me to remove the wheel and repair the tyre, took me 2 hours with help from a neighbour. After consulting the dealer again we decided to try hard tyres although dealer warned would make ride harder and slower, but worth a try to avoid punctures. After experimenting for a couple of weeks turned out dealers was right so we have switched back to pneumatic tyres with tough tubes and anti puncture slime.

Through out this process I could not ask for better service from the dealer who was most obliging to all my requests.
