pretty good – We have had our vaccum about 8 yrs and it has performed well, suction is very good. I love the large bags, I just do not like the cost of the replacement filters. Our biggest complaint is the 'doggie' odour emanating from the unit when the filter needs replacing which seems to be too often; yes, we do have a dog. We may have to deodorise him more frequently! However, it is good at vaccuming up any dog hair.  Show reply

Terrible – Do not waste your money. Really I am very disgusted with poor quality. An expensive brand, I expected German quality. Maybe that is a thing of the past. My next purchase will be good, honest, reasonably priced Asian, not Asian pretending to be German with a lot of pretention and huge sticker price. Only had it 8 months but have a feeling… Read more

I'll end up having to ditch it as the warranty is next to useless. It has so many caveats and exclusions as to be worthless. I've had to take in for service for cleaning out motor twice. Suction good

Its a pretty blue Flimsy made bits break off easily.

Attachments for head including upholstery brush really useless:

The brush bristles too thin, soft, short and stubby

The pointy accessory too short

The storage of accessories on the handle is a nuisance as it loosens up and keeps falling off.

Very expensive bags

Bags (I've bought only Bosch) dont stay in properly, as the plastic bits where you slot it in when inserting new bag dont quite catch and hold in place. Thus the bag can shift in place after insertion, during mid use, causing all dust to go into motor without you knowing its happening. The only way to tell is by noticing a decline in suction, opening it up to discover a huge mess.

The light to show bag is full has never worked

No Bosch part with rotator head.

The handle of the hose is very difficult to pull apart for those without very strong hands.

Excellent – I considered the Dyson when making my decision. So glad I bought the Bosch because they are so quiet and do the job. My neighbour across the road has a Dyson and I can hear her vacuuming each Saturday because the thing makes so much noise. This Bosch is the BMW of vacuums. Great vacuum with plenty of suction. Easy to use and store. Very handy… Read more

multi tool in the handle. Buying bags direct from Bosch in Melbourne is the cheapest way. If the bags are put in correctly then you will have no problems with misalignment of the bag opening. This vacuum is a bullet proof well built German work horse suitable for all types of flooring. We even abused it heavily when renovating and vacumming up all the Gyprock dust. We have had it about 5 years and it has just kept on going. The dust bags hold a huge amount and you never lose suction until the bag is like a house brick. We have owned a Phillips and a Nilfisk King 520. The Bosch kills both these other two machines hands down in all aspects. The Blue paint is prone to scratching so it hasn't retained it's good looks. (Probably because of the renovation abuse).

Good – A great, good quality, easy to use vaccuum cleaner. It has great suction - and an easy slide button to change the amount of suction. The head of the vaccuum has a button to flick to easy allow the change of going from carpet to lino or tiles. The bag seems to be ble to hold a fair bit - we don't find ourselves having to change the bag all the time… Read more

which is great. There also doesn't seem to be much in the way of dust particles floating around either. Overall we are very happy with this product. The colour! It is also a nicely designed vacuum. It was a good price. We bought this Bosch to replace the LG cyclonic vaccuum we did have (which was terrible). Not a lot.

Excellent – This vacuum cleaner is built to last and it always performs like a quality item should. I can't believe the review that only gave this one star, maybe they had a lemon but I can't fault mine at all. Highly recommended!! The vacuum is very strong and well put together. It is quiet and has excellent suction. The Bosch bags are not expensive..I… Read more

buy mine through BSH in Mt Waverley (0395388400)...they post them out. The genuine Bosch bags are brilliant and do not break like the cheap copies do, the bags are huge and the machine does not lose suction until the bag is totally full and looking like a rock hard pillow. I really like the multi function tool , being cunningly inserted into the handle it is very convenient and easy to find and return to its nook. Another thing I like about this machine is that it is near impossible to get anything stuck in the pipe...the design is brilliant with a smooth curved handle and a really strong metal wand. I like the head for the same reasons...no problem with clogging. The machine also pulls along well and doesn't tip over. I can't really think of anything except that the auto wind on the lead is a bit slow and sometimes needs to be fed in rather than it automatically going in.
