It’s one of the best vacuums I’ve owned. It’s compact and easy to store. It handles everything from pet hair to crumbs on both carpet and hard floors without missing a beat. It’s also pretty quiet, which is a nice bonus, and the attachments make it super versatile for corners, furniture, and even the car. The vacuum bags are easy to change and… Read more
not too messy, though they do add a bit to the running cost. Still, totally worth it for how clean it gets the place.
Wouldn't buy – Got this in april and motor started making noises got assessed through warranty but was apparently my fault as used bags incorrectly which I did not and wanted to charge alot to repair ! I

Bets vacuum I have ever used – This vacuum is amazing. When I use it on carpet it actually lifts up the carpet it’s so strong and you can hear all the particle being sucked up. It’s so powerful that my carpet changed color. I love how it comes with an accessory that clicks on the machine that holds the crevice tool, dirt brush and upholstery tool so you can use them straight… Read more
away and don’t need to find them in a box somewhere. I love how easy it is to extend the vacuum arm and retract it. The bag and the filter are so easy to remove. You don’t need to read the manual the machine works all by common sense. Very happy with my purchase

Cleaning Client has one – I am a domestic cleaner and this vacuum was bought by a client. First the positives. It is very light and easy to maneuver/carry. It also has a decent length cord. It is very good for suction and one of the cheapest vacuum's put out by Miele so if you are looking for a budget version it fits the bill. Now the negatives: It certainly cleans well… Read more · 3
but the strong suction at the highest level is too powerful to use on the whole house so I tend to turn it down a few levels. One of the other reasons I believe it is hard to pull across the carpet is because of the design of the head. Most vacuum cleaners have a metal part on the bottom of the head that is in contact with the carpet. This is black plastic so does not glide smoothly over carpet. Hard floors are ok. Other reviews I have read say there is also a rubber strip - I have not examined it closely enough to notice but wouldn't be surprised. It just makes the already physical task of vacuuming harder. I have an older model Miele at home that has a similar head (the design hasn't changed much in 10 years) but because it has a metal base there is no problem as the smooth surface glides over the carpet. Considering this cleaner is supposedly designed for both carpeted and hard flooring (there is a button you can use to switch between different flooring) I don't understand the design. It makes me wonder if there is another head that came with it or that they are trying to get you to pay more by being forced to "upgrade" to a better head. As most NZ/Australian homes are a) fairly large and b) mainly carpet, this vacuum makes no sense for our markets. It would be ok for use in a small apartment with hard floors throughout.
BRILLIANT!! – Having owned Miele products in the past I know I will always get good quality, albeit at a higher price. Unfortunately I believed a lot of reviews about the Electrolux C4 Ease (there is nothing "easy" about it) and a Hoover vac and ended up wasting more than the full retail price of the Miele anyway. This vac is currently on sale at Harvey Norman… Read more
for 299, an absolute bargain!! Normal full retail (which you would probably never pay) is 429, even at 429 it is good value compared to the cheap and nasty Hoover and Electroluxes at low to mid 200s. The first major difference when you assemble the Miele is all the fittings click together, unlike the cheaper vacs that rely on pieces being jammed together, apart from the fact this method makes it hard to change heads and disassemble for storage, after a while the parts wear and they start falling apart while you are using them, typically just after the warranty expires (12 months on the cheap rubbish). So every part clicks together nicely on the Miele. Next is the cord length, the cheaper vacs have 5 mtrs the Miele has 10 metres. As far as use of the Miele, compared to the others it's like night and day! Forget the numbers, 2200W, 2400W etc, the Miele has fantastic suction on the 3rd from highest setting (on hard floors), so I have another 2 higher settings to go for carpet. The Miele is quite too. Everything about this vac screams quality and I will never waste money on that other rubbish again. Finally, it has a 2 year manufacturer warranty, double that of the cheaper makes. Cannot recommend this vac highly enough.
Great on all all surfaces. German engineering at its finest – I don't have pets. This vacuum cleaner is used on polished floorboards, low and shag rugs. Whilst the standard two-mode floorhead is perfectly long enough and can be easily maneuvered under beds and lower units, it is a bit heavy for my four bedroom house. I found a lighter smaller firm-bristled head to use on all surfaces. One recommendation… Read more · 1
would be an additional few foam/paper like filters as they're quite fragile and hard to clean. The white colour will scuff but, unlike the Dyson evangelists, I bought it to vacuum, not to own a Dyson.
The suction is plenty adequate, with enough to trust a quick once-over job on tiles or floorboards using a medium setting. I've even used it after small renovations and home improvements for plaster, timber and even the occasional rock and pebble and it doesn't skip a beat. The modes are handy depending on your use case however I find a medium setting does the job. Do not use this on full when cleaning curtains - it will probably pull the curtain rod down. This thing could suck a golf ball from an orca's blowhole. The highest setting is quite loud but this is hardly a product fault as the lowest setting is very soft.
The bag caddy is easy to use when swapping bags. I prefer to use 3rd party bags with the cardboard collar. The brush attachment is rugged, pivots nicely and the small chisel attachment is great for corners, ledges, windows and most other tight spots. The connections are firm and easy and the long hoses are nice and light. The cord is nice and long and the retractor is very reliable and shows no sign of slowing after a year of moderate to heavy use.

Amazing. Gives Dyson Man a run for its money – Picks up what the naked eye can’t see. If you tbhbjnyoyr carpet is clean and I’m sure jt would look like it is by looking at ut, vacuum the entire room and then empty the drum Show details · 1
Best Vacuum for allergies – As a family with asthma and allergies this vacuum cleaner is fantastic to pick up the finest dust debris. I couldn’t believe how much dust he sucked up out of our carpet compared to our previous vacuum. It’s a must buy for allergy sufferers!! Show details · 1
Brilliant – These Miele vacuums are brilliant. So much better than our previous dyson vacuums and has lasted a lot longer. Bags are a bit expensive, but they last a fair while Show details
Negative reviews
upright exhaust is a terrible design choice – This vacuum cleaner has a upright exhaust design so during usage, you'll get exhaust air blown straight at your face. Also, the bags develop a terrible odour after a couple month of use so irrespective of how much you use them, you have to change the bags otherwise your whole room will smell after vacuum. The machine is powerful but there are just too many drawbacks compared to a bagless design. Show details

Worst Vacuum cleaner ever – Bought this cleaner 18 months ago, the wheels dont go in the direction you steer it to, it turns upside down more often than not. The groove where the long pole clicks in is worn out and doesn't stay firm anymore. Great suction and good for house with pets, but I swear this vaccy is possessed, as it never goes where you steer it to, without… Read more
rolling on its side or turning upside down. The cord is a good length. Overall I'd rate it, 5 out of 10. Very disappointed with it.
Not made in Germany anymore – It is Made in China now, it is no longer the same Miele anymore and it's just another Chinese brand. I didn't try on it and returned it for refund immediately. Show details

Top of the range vacuum cleaner – I bought this vacuum cleaner about four months ago and couldn't be happier. I mainly use the lowest power setting around our house, and I am surprised at how effective it is on both hard and carpeted surfaces, and how quiet it is. It is the best vacuum cleaner I have ever used! Show details · 1

Excellent Machine – We have both carpet and timber flooring and it does exceptional job at cleaning and has multiple heads for different needs. The bags need changing every once in a while but its one of the most durable and well balanced vacuum cleaners we ever bought. Miele being a German brand we expected this. Show details
Great product – Love this machine. Our third Miele vacuum cleaner. They only get better. Quiet (on relative scale), smooth to operate and great clean. Great both on rugs and hard wood floors. Have also used the attachments to clean couches and hard to reach places around the home. Highly recommended. Show details
Nice and Quite – this machine works well, nice and quiet and performs. Our Dyson upright is better on the carpets because the brush is more powerful. the Miele is better for dust collection and HEPPA filtration, also feels very high end for a VAC Show details
Great. Light but powerful enough – Great little cleaner. Had a bigger one before and also worked great for 10+ years. Compact and easy to maneuver on both timber floor, tiles and carpet. Would recommend to everyone. Show details
Works great, powerful suction – So far so good has powerful suction and doesn't need to be turned up to the Max for good results on carpet. Easy to use and never tips over, great overall. Show details · 1
Perfect for Pet Hair – I have a Golden Retriever and it's been a big respite to have this. We Vaccum every 2-3 days and it takes care of the Pet Hair really well. It's great value for your money. Show details · 1
Great powerful vacuum cleaner – We are more than happy with the Miele vacuum cleaner, we use on tiles and carpet. Very strong suction, very quiet in operation. Easy change of dust bags. Second vacuum we have purchased from Miele and the cleaner lasts for many years Great company to deal with. Show details
updated- a good vacuum cleaner. Hard to push but very powerful and robust – UPDATED- I have increased the rating, because the vacuum cleaner is so powerful and robust. Had it for years without any problems so would definately recommend. The head is very hard to push over the carpet, it doesn't glide at all. So all that power that this vacuum has has to be reduced to it's bare minimum just to make the head glide over the… Read more
carpet. Doesn't that defeat the whole object of buying a powerful vacuum cleaner in the first place?. Secondly, the head is very badly designed, it isn't a ball/socket joint so you can't put the head vertically over a piece of dirt you want to pick up. You have to hold the wand at 45 degrees to the floor the whole time, so sometimes you end up knocking the wall or household objects because of this. No storage for tools inside the vacuum, they clip on. I never use this feature.
Amazing with strong suction – Amazing on carpet, Harwood and tile. Such a strong suction throughout. I love that you can easily rotate head to get under beds. I love the vacuum bags and that all Miele vacuums use the same bag so you don’t have to worry about your model bag not being available. Show details · 1

Fantastic Vacuum if you have Pets – We have two dogs in our house and I like to ensure there is no hair left behind in our house. I have used several vacuum cleaners as I like to vacuum every day. Many of the vacuums I have used have lost suction over time and to be honest, didn’t have the extreme suction I was looking for. The Miele Cat and Dog vacuum has been absolutely… Read more · 1
wonderful in picking up all animal hair and leaves the carpets amazingly clean and hair free. No loss of suction over time either. Would thoroughly recommend.
Love this product – I cannot speak highly enough of this vacuum!! Powerful suction, easy to maneuver and incredibly simple to use. Storage is easy as it is quite compact and light. This is one of the very few vacuum cleaners I had ever owned which truly delivers on its promise to pick up pet hair. I have tried other brands in the past but this one does the job. It's also reasonably priced visa vie other brands, which in my experience had not performed as well. Show details · 1
Compact, quiet and powerful – I use this vacuum on both kitchen tiles and carpeted floor. It performs (too well) on carpet, and i typically need to use it on its weaker settings. It's easy to maneuver and packs away neatly. However, i do find that the plastics used for the nozzles and the vacuum itself to be quite weak and scratches/wears easily. I haven't used it alot and i'm pretty careful and gentle with it too. Show details · 1
Best vacuum – It’s quite sturdy but if rough it will tip over. I love the vacuum bags and find it does not lose suction like others. The vacuum is very easy to manovore. I have recommended this vacuum to family and brought my daughter the c3 model for her new place. Highly recommended Show details · 1
Perfect – I work as a cleaner and have used many different vacuum cleaners over the time for sure the Miele is the best one I’ve seen so I bought one for myself. It’s so powerful, silent, the bag can least for a good time and it’s cheap to replace! It’s way best the the famous Dyson ones! Show details · 1
Wonderful vacuum! – I love this vacuum! It's easy to use and never loses suction. Perfect for cleaning up my dogs hair from the sofas and carpet. It's also light and very easy to store. Its clean in the sense it doesn't blow smells from it all over the house when using it. Show details
Powerful vacuum cleaner – Bought this Miele vacuum cleaner to replace an old vacuum cleaner that died. Chose the Miele brand over the Dyson after some research. It is a small but powerful vacuum cleaner with a good suction. Suction is much better than our old vacuum cleaner. Seems well-built. Easy to use and change between carpets and tiles. Would highly recommend. Show details · 1

Very efficient and my carpets are clean – This vacuum provides great suction and is very efficient and works really well. It is very lightweight and easily manuverable.
