Amazing. Gives Dyson Man a run for its money
Compact C2 PowerLine SDCB4 (Allergy)Picks up what the naked eye can’t see. If you tbhbjnyoyr carpet is clean and I’m sure jt would look like it is by looking at ut, vacuum the entire room and then empty the drum
Show detailsBest Vacuum for allergies
Compact C2 PowerLine SDBB0 (Cat&Dog)As a family with asthma and allergies this vacuum cleaner is fantastic to pick up the finest dust debris. I couldn’t believe how much dust he sucked up out of our carpet compared to our previous vacuum. It’s a must buy for allergy sufferers!!

Compact C2 PowerLine SDCB4 (Allergy)This vacuum is amazing. When I use it on carpet it actually lifts up the carpet it’s so strong and you can hear all the particle being sucked up. It’s so powerful that my carpet changed color. I love how it comes with an accessory that clicks on the machine that holds the crevice tool, dirt brush and upholstery tool so you can use them straight away and don’t need to find them in a box somewhere. I love how easy it is to extend the vacuum arm and retract it. The bag and the filter are so easy to remove. You don’t need to read the manual the machine works all by common sense. Very happy with my purchase

Compact C2 PowerLine SDAB0I am a domestic cleaner and this vacuum was bought by a client. First the positives. It is very light and easy to maneuver/carry. It also has a decent length cord. It is very good for suction and one of the cheapest vacuum's put out by Miele so if you are looking for a budget version it fits the bill. Now the negatives: It certainly cleans well but the strong suction at the highest level is too powerful to use on the whole house so I tend to turn it down a few levels. One of the other reasons I believe it is hard to pull across the carpet is be
... Read morecause of the design of the head. Most vacuum cleaners have a metal part on the bottom of the head that is in contact with the carpet. This is black plastic so does not glide smoothly over carpet. Hard floors are ok. Other reviews I have read say there is also a rubber strip - I have not examined it closely enough to notice but wouldn't be surprised. It just makes the already physical task of vacuuming harder. I have an older model Miele at home that has a similar head (the design hasn't changed much in 10 years) but because it has a metal base there is no problem as the smooth surface glides over the carpet. Considering this cleaner is supposedly designed for both carpeted and hard flooring (there is a button you can use to switch between different flooring) I don't understand the design. It makes me wonder if there is another head that came with it or that they are trying to get you to pay more by being forced to "upgrade" to a better head. As most NZ/Australian homes are a) fairly large and b) mainly carpet, this vacuum makes no sense for our markets. It would be ok for use in a small apartment with hard floors throughout.Find out how Miele Compact C2 PowerLine compares to other Barrel Vacuum Cleaners

Brilliant
Compact C2 PowerLine SDCB4 (Allergy)These Miele vacuums are brilliant. So much better than our previous dyson vacuums and has lasted a lot longer. Bags are a bit expensive, but they last a fair while
Show detailsExcellent Machine
Compact C2 PowerLine SDAB0We have both carpet and timber flooring and it does exceptional job at cleaning and has multiple heads for different needs. The bags need changing every once in a while but its one of the most durable and well balanced vacuum cleaners we ever bought. Miele being a German brand we expected this.

Worst Vacuum cleaner ever
Compact C2 PowerLine SDCB4 (Allergy)Bought this cleaner 18 months ago, the wheels dont go in the direction you steer it to, it turns upside down more often than not.
The groove where the long pole clicks in is worn out and doesn't stay firm anymore.
Great suction and good for house with pets, but I swear this vaccy is possessed, as it never goes where you steer it to, without rolling on its side or turning upside down.
The cord is a good length.
Overall I'd rate it, 5 out of 10.
Very disappointed with it.
Great product
C2 PowerLine SDCB0 (Hard Floor & Allergy)Love this machine. Our third Miele vacuum cleaner. They only get better. Quiet (on relative scale), smooth to operate and great clean. Great both on rugs and hard wood floors. Have also used the attachments to clean couches and hard to reach places around the home. Highly recommended.
Show detailsBRILLIANT!!
C2 PowerLine SDCB0 (Hard Floor & Allergy)Having owned Miele products in the past I know I will always get good quality, albeit at a higher price. Unfortunately I believed a lot of reviews about the Electrolux C4 Ease (there is nothing "easy" about it) and a Hoover vac and ended up wasting more than the full retail price of the Miele anyway. This vac is currently on sale at Harvey Norman for 299, an absolute bargain!! Normal full retail (which you would probably never pay) is 429, even at 429 it is good value compared to the cheap and nasty Hoover and Electroluxes at low to mid 200s. T
... Read morehe first major difference when you assemble the Miele is all the fittings click together, unlike the cheaper vacs that rely on pieces being jammed together, apart from the fact this method makes it hard to change heads and disassemble for storage, after a while the parts wear and they start falling apart while you are using them, typically just after the warranty expires (12 months on the cheap rubbish). So every part clicks together nicely on the Miele. Next is the cord length, the cheaper vacs have 5 mtrs the Miele has 10 metres. As far as use of the Miele, compared to the others it's like night and day! Forget the numbers, 2200W, 2400W etc, the Miele has fantastic suction on the 3rd from highest setting (on hard floors), so I have another 2 higher settings to go for carpet. The Miele is quite too. Everything about this vac screams quality and I will never waste money on that other rubbish again. Finally, it has a 2 year manufacturer warranty, double that of the cheaper makes. Cannot recommend this vac highly enough.Find out how Miele Compact C2 PowerLine compares to other Barrel Vacuum Cleaners

Not made in Germany anymore
C2 PowerLine SDCB0 (Hard Floor & Allergy)It is Made in China now, it is no longer the same Miele anymore and it's just another Chinese brand. I didn't try on it and returned it for refund immediately.

C2 PowerLine SDCB0 (Hard Floor & Allergy)this machine works well, nice and quiet and performs.
Our Dyson upright is better on the carpets because the brush is more powerful.
the Miele is better for dust collection and HEPPA filtration, also feels very high end for a VAC
Show detailsGreat. Light but powerful enough
C2 PowerLine SDCB0 (Hard Floor & Allergy)Great little cleaner. Had a bigger one before and also worked great for 10+ years. Compact and easy to maneuver on both timber floor, tiles and carpet. Would recommend to everyone.

Great on all all surfaces. German engineering at its finest
C2 PowerLine SDCB0 (Hard Floor & Allergy)I don't have pets.
This vacuum cleaner is used on polished floorboards, low and shag rugs. Whilst the standard two-mode floorhead is perfectly long enough and can be easily maneuvered under beds and lower units, it is a bit heavy for my four bedroom house. I found a lighter smaller firm-bristled head to use on all surfaces.
One recommendation would be an additional few foam/paper like filters as they're quite fragile and hard to clean. The white colour will scuff but, unlike the Dyson evangelists, I bought it to vacuum, not to own a Dyson.
T
... Read morehe suction is plenty adequate, with enough to trust a quick once-over job on tiles or floorboards using a medium setting. I've even used it after small renovations and home improvements for plaster, timber and even the occasional rock and pebble and it doesn't skip a beat. The modes are handy depending on your use case however I find a medium setting does the job. Do not use this on full when cleaning curtains - it will probably pull the curtain rod down. This thing could suck a golf ball from an orca's blowhole. The highest setting is quite loud but this is hardly a product fault as the lowest setting is very soft. The bag caddy is easy to use when swapping bags. I prefer to use 3rd party bags with the cardboard collar. The brush attachment is rugged, pivots nicely and the small chisel attachment is great for corners, ledges, windows and most other tight spots. The connections are firm and easy and the long hoses are nice and light. The cord is nice and long and the retractor is very reliable and shows no sign of slowing after a year of moderate to heavy use.Works great, powerful suction
Compact C2 PowerLine SDBB0 (Cat&Dog)So far so good has powerful suction and doesn't need to be turned up to the Max for good results on carpet. Easy to use and never tips over, great overall.
Show detailsPerfect for Pet Hair
C2 PowerLine SDCB0 (Hard Floor & Allergy)I have a Golden Retriever and it's been a big respite to have this.
We Vaccum every 2-3 days and it takes care of the Pet Hair really well.
It's great value for your money.
Questions & Answers
Why does the hose pipe disconnect when I pull the vacuum along? The grey plastic outer rim doesn’t seem to click in properly. I bought this in July and have only started to use it now. Please advise. Very frustrating
connection of suction hose to vacuum very weak design Difficult to connect frustrating
We have newly polished jarrah floorboards throughout the whole house including the kitchen, and no carpet, is the c2 scratchfree guaranteed?
I can't answer the question, sorry. I also have polished floorboards but they are old and I don't pay attention to the scratches.
