VerifiedMPN: HRG6767S2AAnd I would like to add my name to the list of people who bought a Series 8 oven only for the touch pad to be faulty. I have done a reset, left it turned off for 10 minutes and nothing is working. I can see the words, I can turn the circular dial but none of the options when pressed, are responding. Is any one able to tell me what the fix was? Is it just that the touch screen ribbons need cleaning /recontacting or is the entire control board defective and needing to be replaced? I have two of these ovens and the other one works fine.

Hi. ! My touch panel is not working correctly. I want to access "Basic Settings" menu button. It will not respond when you touch the sensor button. I have tried touching the "Basic Settings" button using a number of different pressure and length of time. I have also now found that the "Clean button" is also is not responding. Using other menu options I have found these 2 buttons either do not work or take sometime to respond. I did have a service person come out some 8 months ago with a similar problem I was having with the Oven. I was advised by a Bosch technician that keeping the surface clean and dry helps, plus the way that you touch the sensor button may effect the buttons response. Things seemed to work for a little while. Now the problems have returned, only worse. The oven is now only 30 months old ! Have turned it off at the house fuse box a number of times but no change. I would be interested in any thoughts before I put in another "Service request" Which obviously will cost me. Any ideas ?

I have exactly the same problem. Oven is hbg6767.1A. The sensor panel will not respond to touch. I can turn it on but it won't let me choose my type of heating, won't let me set the clock, and won't respond to anything on the panel. Called a technician who came out and says the whole panel has to be replaced. Its over a week now and no communication, no mention of parts and wondering whether I shouldn't take it and out and replace with something else.
Hi my touch panel has slowly given up my oven is only 2 yrs old ! Have turned it off a number of times but no change . Any ideas ? Cheers
Hi If your still not under warranty I do not have much faith in Bosch honoring the reliability of their products. I am still waiting for a replacement for the door on my oven that was only five months old after it self destructed. That was ten (10) months ago still waiting. Hope you have better luck with Bosch than what I am receiving. German made may as well be manufactured from Mars probably be quicker service.

I'm still waiting for Bosch to reply to my review for the same problem. Looks like they've know for some years about the dial and the touch panel but didn't recall the series 8 OR even notify the owners of the series 8.
Thats a huge disappointment on the honesty of this company.
And, why us it that the series 8 seems to have these same problems when almost or just out of warranty.
I've owned microwaves since 1978 and have changed them and upgraded over the years and not once have I had any touch panel issues.
Please, Bosch can you reply to me. I have 2 series 8 ovens and neither of them work.

I have a Bosch oven model HR6767.2A, and some of the touch screen displays no longer respond to touch (the ones on the left hand side), so I am unable to select these options. Consequently I cannot access many of the oven functions, eg 4D hot air, etc. How can this be fixed?
