Great gas cook top with unique burner layout
I quite like the unique burner layout - less square looking. It is also very easy to clean. I love the flame control for gas (9 settings). Very good for cooking especially on low heat as I find many gas cooktops I've used are often too strong. On the down side, I find the cast iron trivets a little heavy to remove.
Purchased in May 2019 at Harvey Norman Retail Stores - Appliances for $680.

A 5 star product despite Murphy's Law, "if something can go wrong..."
I'm giving this 5 stars despite some "issues". In my opinion the FlameSelect feature, the "modern" diamond arrangement of burners and the sturdy cast iron trivets is worth paying for! We ordered a Bosch oven and had purchased a Bosch PBH6B5B60A cooktop to go with it ... BUT Appliances On Line (AOL) refused to install it because we didn't have 650mm clearance to the rangehood. I installed a new rangehood some 90mm higher* and then decided to purchase this cooktop instead. After all, since we were paying $320 for installation, why not get a decen...
Read moret cooktop? After installation, the pot drawer wouldn't close and I had to make up an electrical lead with a right-angle plug! Then I tried the wok burner and noticed it worked differently to the Bosch video... apparently this model doesn't have a dual "flame" wok burner! No probs just nice to know. Finally, as I left the burner on because step 5 is exactly opposite the off position, I decided to use a black marker and make all the knob's indicator grooves stand out more! *it didn't even meet the Australian standard of 600mm above the burner. And, as I discovered later, most rangehoods require 650mm clearance anyway!Purchased in March 2019 for $748.

Easy to use gas cook top
I had this cook top installed a month ago and have been very happy with it so far. I like the configuration of the burners and the sturdiness of the cast iron trivets (which although heavy do not scratch the surface as they have rubber feet that work well). The flame select function is good and it's a nice looking appliance.

Please improve the packaging of this product
I picked up one of these cooktops from Harvey Norman for our new kitchen. Three days before the installation I opened the box only to see a large dent in one corner. Close look showed that the packaging has damaged ans with it the cooktop itself. After being on the phone with someone from HN all afternoon (6 times) they said they cannot find another one in Sydney and will have order in, which takes more than three days. I went to HN that afternoon and returned the cooktop and got a refund. I managed to get hold of another one in Goodguys on the...
Read more same day. On the day of the installation we unpacked it to find ANOTHER dent in the new one !!!. Had to drive back to Goodguys and got a replacement (only one was left) just in time for installation that afternoon. Have been using the cooktop for three week now. the product itself looks and function really well. before you buy this please double check for damages - or you will be running around to return or replace this at the last minute. Bosch really need to improve the packing of this product. at the end of the day I'm sure customers will ends up paying for these defects indirectly.

Hi, do the flame control settings limit you to only those exact settings, or can you slightly adjust the knob in between to more finely adjust the flame? I've always found it hard to get a very low flame on my cooktops and end up having to turn them to right near to the off setting to get the flame low enough. (Hoping to decide on a purchase this week!).

The flame control settings do limit you to those exact settings but I've found that the lowest setting is low enough for any cooking that I've done in the nearly two years that I've had this stove top. I've been really happy with this product.
