We recently purchased a 5 burner Pitt hotplate, very costly, however, it is a showpiece. When it arrived, we found some parts missing, called Haus group who couldn't deliver the missing parts fast enough. We received the parts within a few hours of calling. Very satisfied and grateful. Amazing product and service from Haus Group Australia pty ltd. Thank you. Show details

Excellent warranty service – I read a recent review on Pitt Cooktop service and was concerned as I needed service. I called today as we have a faulty thermocouple on one burner. Advised that Pitt has now been taken over by Haus Group. Spoke to someone on the phone to explain the problem and sent a follow up email. This afternoon I was called back, we discussed which part is a… Read more

problem. A few minutes later received an email to say the parts are on the way to me and a technician will contact me in 24 hours to arrange installation. Can't ask for better. Seems the recent change to Haus Group is a real plus.

Terrible After Service! – Terrible after service! Ignition stopped working after 18 months. Reported the issue to Pitt Cooking. It’s been 5 weeks of me having to keep following up with them to send a technician out. Still no luck with any service. I am in Perth WA Show details

Incredible! – Such a fabulous cooktop and wish we had known about this years ago! Definitely stunning and why not have a “piece of art” in the kitchen. Not cheap but seriously worth every cent. Cleaning an absolute breeze and who doesn’t want that. Simply wipe the bench and done. For anyone wondering….no the Caesarstone doesn’t get hot. Heat transfer hasn’t been an issue at all. Not even warm. Absolute brilliance. Show details ·  1

Worth the extra, Looks Amazing, Cleanings Breeze – Had this for over a year now. Bit of splash out, as hadn't seen one working wasn't sure it was worth it...... ...it was. Never seen this style, came across it @Winnings - blew my mind..... simple brilliant innovation - type that makes you instantly think why hasn't anyone done this before?! Installs directly into hard surface bench top - stone,… Read more

quartz composite etc.

Tip: If you have small space, check dimensions incl. support first, especially if you have appliance/something underneath. I was installing in 600mm Cabinet - it didnt fit with Pitt support bars and oven below. After frantic calls Pitt confirmed I didnt need the support bar with 600 install, Henry @PittCooking Au was amazing, even drawing up required cabinet adjustment for my joiner to support cooktop adequately and drop oven.

Conclusion: Worth the splash out for the years of easier cleaning and clean looks. Hoping they've done an induction version by the time I'm doing my next kitchen.....

Pros - So easy cleaning - lift rings and clean bench top - Looks amazing - lots of comments - really solid build - choose layout that fits your space (1-6 rings) - easy to install (once you find out how) - Template for stone cutter - Great for larger kitchens - fits in smaller kitchens, standard 600mm (but install can be more tricky) - 4 burner levels with 3 burners (main has small + large) - Had it for a year and looks as good as day one

Cons - More expensive Install - Costs more in bench top install as its more fiddly with multiple stone cuts - have to trust your stone cutter to get it right - comes with template so its not that hard - install instructions aren't clear (Aus rep was amazing - watch his YouTube and its a breeze https://youtu.be/mb-Q_VbtalY) - have to have space under the bench top for all the workings - not easiest install in a small space Using - takes a while to ignite, hold ignition button down ages. - need to be little more careful of whats around as its more just part of the benchtop - fire risk - UX: Controls seem in wrong order to me: I would assume top to bottom right, anti-clockwise would be 1-3 control. but its bottom left burner is #1 control, top #2, Bottom right #3
