gas valve is faulty about a week before the 5 year warranty is due to expire. installer says that because the unit wasn't serviced the warranty is voided - be careful when buying anything from braemar because they will get you with their terrible warranty terms and poor product quality. Braemar is unreliable and price needs to include service fees!!! to keep warranty – Got this unit installed to replace my 20 year old ducted heater during April 2021 - and its showing an ignition fault already. Totally unreliable!! Also they should have added the required service fees every 2 years to the price!!! As you need them to keep your warranty. I would have bought something else if i knew that. Most disgusted – Had new Braemar Ecostar ducted heater installed last month and installer out 5 times already!!! The unit does not warm house adequately. It takes approx. 5 hrs to reach desired temperature-turning off every 3minutes. Further noise level is LOUD. My old unit was so quiet you did not even know the heater was on. died. This new one is not worth any money at all. It is loud and inadequate. It's almost like being in industrial setting or airport.. Soooo annoying and does not even work properly in a speedy time. Very uncomfortable to be in the cold house due to poor heating and the place is small. Do not buy Braemar Ecostar .. Definately not value for money and I will definately replace this unit even though it's new.. The installer stated nothing else can be done as the unit is under warranty and any changes to the unit would detract from factory settings and therefore void the warranty..

problem after problem, strongly not recommend to any one – I had this installed last year very disappointed at the beginning, it made great noise I called up for a service, quoted from the onsite technician "it was design issue" (he forced to move the fan parts a little up). fixed and it'd be all good. The heater took much longer of time to warm up the rooms even after 2 or 3 hours, though setting the room temperature to 22 degrees the heater often stopped running at 16 degrees, I was so regretting that I've purchased this unit. Weeks later the heater stopped working again, had to call the service hotline expressed my frustration as that's the 3rd time of repair within one month. The onsite technician nearly replaced all of the parts of the heater. I haven't had any other major issue after that.
Update in year 2020 Seeley International repaired this brand new unit 3 times in year 2019. One year later, the heater stopped working again so it'd be the 4th repair for this brand new heater. Worst product ever I have purchased!!!
I called 1300 650 644 was transferred to Melbourne office just hoping someone to answer my call to request a service booking, waited for 50 minutes no one answered my call.
Back to year 2019, when I questioned Seeley why the brand unit broke down 3 times within one month, I was told "this product comes with 5-year warranty, you can get service for 5-year"
repaired 2 times within 3 weeks after installation – A brand new Braemar TQ420N installed on 18 April 2019, it stopped working the next morning (19 April 2019), had to call Seeley to repair. On 7 May 2019, the heater stopped working again (less than 3 weeks after installation). Honestly, I'm not happy – This unit is expensive to run and noisy. I am generally not impressed. It is inefficient, only heats the rooms closest to the roof unit, rattles and complains every single time it starts up. As soon as I can I will be replacing it with a Brivis system. Not Happy. Faulty software replaced – Finallly after so many error messages due to faulty software, a technician was sent out to install new panel. Ask questions about the software if purchasing this unit. As under warranty it could be fixed and It is now working well. What a difference from a previously unreliable unit with connectivity problems to one that works efficiently providing a warm home almost immediately.
