The short answer is excellent it works well ,is very quiet and the controller and is so easy to use . The only negative is the ceiling outlest vents are not as good as our old units floor vents, especially standing over them in winter, but we had no sub floor room for the larger ducting it just means the room takes a little longer to fully saturated. We have only had one winter but sofar very happy

Purchased in for $5,696.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We’re delighted to hear the unit is performing well, quietly, and that the controller is easy to use. We appreciate your comments regarding the ceiling vents vs floor vents; ducting install limitations pose a challenge, but it’s great to hear a solution could be found and you’re very happy with the system after your first winter. Here's to another warm, cosy winter ahead. Kind regards, Diana at Seeley International.

I have only had the Tq425 for a week but we are very impressed on how quickly and effortlessly the rooms come up to temp and i can zone the far end of the house on or off to suit kids or no kids home. There is Only 2 zones available, We fitted 10 outlets in a 20 Sq home. 2 Bathrooms, 4 bedrooms ect done but that suits us. I can just hear the heater operating in the roof but if there is other noise like tv or kids you wont notice it, Its like light rain on the roof. So far so good, 6K fitted in Vic. Very happy. :)

Purchased in for $6,000.

Hi there, thank you for your thoughtful review and for choosing Braemar! We’re really pleased to hear your TQ425 is performing so well — fast, efficient heating and flexible zoning make a big difference in comfort. It’s great to know the noise level hasn’t been an issue for you either.

Thanks again for your feedback, we’re glad you’re happy so far!

Terrible – 6 months old. Now the ignition won't start and no heat in the colder days and now my 10 month old baby has to sleep with us in our room who is sick, the fact that it states "no pilot light ensures the heater works everytime"! Absolute joke of a product read so many crap reviews only after installing.

Purchased in for $4,500.

Did I buy a lemon? – Got this TQ425 installed on 14th May, to replace my Brivis Buffalo that died after 24 years of faithful service. It died on Thursday 31st May night with an error code 19 (HX OT2 - heat exchanger over-heated). No one can come out to check/repair 'til Monday. Looks like a very bad design, if a heat exchanger cannot reset itself automatically and carry on working. Besides, it is a very noisy machine, even in so-called "quiet mode". I only hope the neighbours don't complain.

Horrible customer service, clueless tech support – We previously had a TQ435 which broke down even though it was relatively new. The guy who came out to inspect was surprised since it was such a new unit. Weirdly he recommended replacing it with an identical unit on the basis that we were unlucky to get a bad unit the previous time. I stupidly agreed. The new TQ435 was installed. It stopped within 1 week of light use. The error reads 'fan broken down' or similar. They should not be allowed to sell such a useless product. AVOID!!! Do not let yourself be talked into this unit by some slick salesperson!!!!!
