Most Expensive Doorstop I ever bought! Utterly terrible iron. I really have tried for the last 3 motnhs but I will not use it again. Bought it to replace a CareStyle 5 (which I was happy with). Steam doesn't shoot down onto what you're ironing but out the sides. It constantly fogs up my glasses & scolds my hands (no, not because I can't see). Doesn't iron cotton & linen very well at all. Collars are still wrinkled and not presentable. That large water reservoir they really emphasise in the marketing?? You go through more steam than the CareStyle 5. The CareStyle 5 will iron front & back of a shirt at same time but CareStyle 9 does not so my ironing time instantly doubled. The constant refilling of the water reservoir also increases my time. I find it difficult to remove from caddy & when full, difficult to slide back in to caddy. Ironing pants now has "iron wrinkles" when I used it because I can't get my hands close enough to smooth the fabric or they are scolded. Forget trying to iron pleats in shirts, or small pieces of fabric. At times it is painful to get it out of the caddy. It now sits as a door stop. It does not deserve 1 Star!
Follow-up · ok, after my Care5 finally died, took a fresh go at the doorstop....well, after it flooded my carpet & had steam coming out where it should not, I raised a ticket as faulty. Now have a replacement 9 & it is not as good as the old Care5 was, goes through water too quickly, need more steam to iron clothes. Doesn't remove creases like old iron does. The actual iron is so light it is unhelpful in attempting to remove creases, the unit relies on steam removing all creases....which it won't from cotton & linen. waste of the cost of the unit & still takes far longer to iron clothes than it should, most disappointing.

Purchased 2 weeks ago and have used it 3 times. So far I highly recommend, it's quick to heat, doesn't squirt water anywhere and is comfortable to use. It makes ironing a breeze!

Fabulous ironing experience. I loathe ironing more than I care to say, having ironed business shirts for 35yrs and pretty much every item of clothing for the household. This steam station has a 2litre tank!! So no more filling up every 10mins and importantly- no more leaks on your clothing. She is a powerful sucker. Its also a heavy unit to lift (the station itself), but she packs away very neatly and of course the iron is feather-light. I chose this over a Philips steamer station with rotating board mainly because every Philips iron I every owned leaked. There were other issues with those Philips irons as well. I rate this Braun 4 stars instead of 5 because I would have loved it to come with a large rotating board and I do like to be able to squirt water onto clothing to aid wrinkle removal from items that have been heavily scrunched. This said, I do own a squirter bottle.
Follow-up · Update: no issues with steam output. Cord storage - refer 2nd pic, but note that I left it sticking out of the side of the slot it pokes through, as an indicator or where it goes. Haven’t had to descale yet. I still love it! The combination of 2L water tank, a light-weight iron and good quality ironing is fantastic.
