Superb design from a professional company. A time-saving genie.
Lift 501 (Red)Thank you Mel, at Laurastar, for the in-store demonstration, and patient explanation of the Laurastar system. The Laurastar Red Lift is a premium product and costs more than other steam stations, but there is no comparison when it comes to performance. I ironed my sheets in half the time, and as the "house husband", I valued the flexibility to iron all types of garment without damaging the material. There is a Teflon "shoe" for delicate items, and the way that I used to iron changed, but much so for the better. I vertically steamed my partners

The station takes a filter cartridge to extend the life of the sole plate, and keeps the iron clean. I purchased the Comfort board bundle, to sit the iron at the same height as the board. There is much more to say, but that is best left to your visit to the showroom.Makes the chore easier

Lift 511 (White)I coveted a Laurastar iron for many years before I purchased one, but this year, I finally committed and purchased a Laurastar Lift. Although the price is much higher than other products on the market, when you divide the price by the 10 years that the iron will last (maybe longer), it makes for a very reasonable purchase. Plus, you spend 10 years using a far superior product. The Laurastar has lived up to my expectations. It is very easy to use and maintain. In fact, the rocket-like steam jets make ironing a dream (Note: I usually hate ironing

It treats all my fabrics well (think delicates & regular clothes) and removes creases that no other iron could (think denim or heavily crushed cotton). I don't find ironing a chore anymore and I highly recommend this product.Laurastar lift 501 red

A Second Laurastar but Portable
Lift 511 (White)I bought the Laurastar Lift as a portable steamer prior to my daughter's wedding. I already have a Laurastar at home, now about 10 years old, which I love. The Lift is easy to use and was fabulous for the wedding suits and dresses. Post the wedding, Ive used it to steam the creases from linen tablecloths and to steam clothes directly from the wardrobe before wearing. The amount and pressure of steam far exceeds any of the portable steamers I' ve used before and it does a much better

Can I use the Laura Star Lift on a normal (Sunbeam) ironing board
Hi Craig yes you can use any ironing board as long as it has cotton/foam cover and a mesh board to all the steam to pass through. A steam station generates alot more steam than a common iron, so its important that the cover and board allow the steam to pass through the garment.

The filter change warning light on my Laurastar Lift doesn't work any longer. How often do I need to change the cartridge. I only use the iron once a week and only for about an hour or so.
Hi the filters should be changed every 3-4 mths or 30-40 hrs of ironing. The light will only come on when it needs replacing. Please call us on 1800 999 910 for more advice. regards Dino MD
