Great iron, makes easy work of ironing – I’m personally very happy with this iron. It glides over fabric effortlessly and is super easy to use. The other reviewers almost made me doubt my own judgment. It’s funny because I’ve ironed a pile of clothes a few minutes ago. It included shirts and shorts and bed sheets. Total waste of money – I thought I would buy a quality iron for a change. Read the choice magazine review and decided that this the textile 9 would be a good choice. Well, what a disappointment it turned out to be. It doesn't generate enough heat to dry the steam it creates, and don't even think of using the sprayer. them slightly and giving them a scare! Total flop and Braun service is about as helpful as an ashtray on a motorbike. Don't waste your money!

Addendum: Braun eventually replaced the iron with a new one. It is marginally better, but definitely not worth the money you pay for what is supposed to be a prime quality product. Forget about anything heavier than a hankerchief or light shirt. I haven't bothered returning this one and just write it down to life's experience.

then it's not hot enough, clothes are still creased after you've ironed them, it leaks water and minerals all over your clothes, they end up wetter than when you took them out of the washing machine. Don't buy one. You will regret it from the minute you turn it on.

I would never buy a braun iron again after this one – Iron is too cold, does not generate enough steam and the sprayer nozzle emits a dribble instead of a spray. It takes triple the time to iron shirts and they still appear creased Show details

Most disappointing TexStyle iron I have owned – Like the reviewer above, I am also very disappointed with the Braun TexStyle 9, having previously owned TexStyle 3, 5 and 7 models. I feel the iron never gets hot enough to do the job properly. With no temperature setting for you to control, you are leaving this to the iron - and I do not believe it knows what to do. from the water inlet, even though the lid is sealed completely. I may be in the market for a new iron again soon, even though I only purchased this unit in May 2020. It is not up to the usual Braun standard.

So disappointed – Disappointed with this iron, it does not iron out creases especially on cottons and linen. The steam boost is not that effective and a few months on, I'm already looking to replace it as it's frustrating spending much more time ironing only to see that it's not really doing the job.
