Great machine, easy to use, easy to maintain. Makes great coffee. I would happily recommend this machine to friends looking for a good machine that also looks good. Only down fall is it can be a bit noisy when operating as it rattles and vibrates when dispensing coffee. If your not worried about waking any body else in the morning it isn't a problem. I needed a new pod machine and spent some time shopping around the online reviews, including the UK reviews for a similar model. I found the concept of a machine being able to froth milk automatically very appealing. The machine is a little large but it works well, there are a large number of different coffee shots to select from and the touch… Read more
screen menu is easy to navigate. I use barrista UHT milk (plain, oat and almond) all froth well and produce a very nice result, taste of the coffee depends on the pods but is similar to my previous Nesspresso machine. The listed price of $1399 is too expensive and there are offers on the internet starting at $800, I was able to purchase a refurbished machine from the Breville Shop, there was no evidence of prior use only damage to the box, it came with a warranty. I suggest anyone interested in this model look at the Youtube videos, there are a lot covering all aspects of the machine.
Such wonderful coffees! – Long time user of various Lattissima machines and finally took the plunge to upgrade. It has a bit more of a learning curve on it compared to the other machines, but it is so worth the effort. Makes the silkiest foam, which is lovely. There are a lot of settings for various choices, although I only really use two of them, the flat white and the… Read more
cappuccino. For me, the temperature control is the real winner here, it was my one gripe about the Nespresso machines, the coffee was never hot enough. With the Creatista Pro, you can change your temp settings and now, with a little bit of fiddling and experimenting, have made my perfect coffee. Was a little disappointed when I first got it as I hadn't yet found my balance with my volumes and settings. Now I have nailed it, and the machine remembers it, every cup is wonderful. Water tank is much bigger and the steam wand cleans itself after each cup so there is no milk contamination. The cleaning instructions on the screen are easy to follow and I love that there is no more fiddling around with the milk container in the Lattissima. So worth the upgrade. Only thing I don't like about this machine is the body is very prone to showing fingerprints.

Packs a punch the Creatista Pro – When my Breville Oracle broke down and would not express the coffee after just 4 years and $3,500 later (bad Breville) I said I was not going to spend that money on another machine especially a Breville. I went for something super easy but wanted to control the milk temperature. My first question was “HOW HOT IS HOT”. When they researched and… Read more
told me 76 I was surprised.
1. This machine is easy on the eye. 2. Does not take up bench space. 3. Still has the colour display to save your favourite coffee. 4. Not messy saves the pods and tells you When full. 5. Super easy to clean. 6. Nice large water container at rear. 7. More importantly HOT coffee I like it hot and it did not disappoint.
This is is an in-between machine until I get my Jura z10!
Perfect but Disappointed – Bought first machine Dec 2021. Most impressed with design and variable functions and coffee is great. BUT....after 5 months, severe water leak drowned bench top. Sent for repair, but no parts for 2 months. Retailer replaced machine with same model on 7 July. After 10 days second machine showing signs of same problem. Overnight, clean… Read more
drip tray filled to depth of 3mm. Am planning another trip to what I expect will also be a disappointed retailer.
Near perfect pod-type coffee machine – This is our second Creatista purchase, after buying the Plus for a holiday rental - this one is for our personal use. The key factor for purchasing the Pro instead of the Plus was the touch screen, which is simpler and easier to use than the Plus unit's select-and-click dial. But having used both, the dual boiler does make every flat white… Read more
quicker and easier, since it does both the coffee and milk simultaneously.
This machine has displaced my old faithful Sunbeam 6910 (also a dual boiler) and a flat-burr grinder, freeing up quite a bit of space on the kitchen sideboard. There's no doubt that the traditional cafe-style machine offers more control and flexibility over the coffee produced, but I'm not really missing it so far - I do tend to use 2 pods for each brew, as I'd generally do a double-shot in the Sunbeam. The coffee is very consistent, since the entire process is automated - and both temperature and duration of coffee extraction can be customised. I haven't needed to use the optional personalised recipe settings as yet.
I've noted a concern on my review for the Creatista Plus that so many others have had reliability issues with that very similar machine - both these reviews (Plus and Pro) are only a month into ownership, and I'll update it if anything busts loose.
