Planned obsolescence.
Nespresso Creatista Plus BNE800BSS (Brushed Stainless Steel)We have now owned multiple Breville Creatista machines, and all have failed after 10 to 13 months. Despite very low usage we have found the machines life span is very short and not worth the cost of repairing. I would strongly urge anyone to reconsider buying this machine as it is unreliable and destined (probably designed) to break down a week after the warranty expires.
What is as disappointing is Brevilles after sale service - it is simply not existent, they push all enquiries off Nespresso who simply don’t care as it is not their reputation in question.
Read the reviews - the consensus is this machine is great when new but destined to fail. Save your money and avoid Breville Creatista machines.

DO NOT BUY! Very faulty product.
Nespresso Creatista Plus BNE800BSS (Brushed Stainless Steel)We got our Creatista Plus in June 2021. Three months later, we started having problems with it - not heating the milk properly, not frothing, didn't sound right. Returned it to Nespresso - they replaced the pump. It then worked fine until now - it has the same issues as before, but the two year warranty expired exactly FIVE WEEKS ago. I rang Nespresso, they advised that the replacement pump had a 6 month warranty. My options now are: Pay flat repair fee of $335, which includes postage of machine to Nespresso and return, and a 6 month repa

Stupidly, I bought another Creatista machine because we love the coffee and it's super easy to use, I made sure I got a 5 year warranty on it. It has already developed the same fault and it's barely 2 months old. DO NOT BUY!!Purchased in at The Good Guys Online store for $684.

Nespresso will recycle your unwanted Nespresso coffee machine if you are prepared to box it up to return to them. They will send you a label to print, you take the box to AusPost and it will be returned to Nespresso their cost.
Final update - these machines are rubbish. Our new machine - not quite 2 months old - is already malfunctioning, just as our previous machine did at the 2-3 month mark. It's not heating the milk pro

And then the same issue happened again just after the warranty expired. I have just rung Nespresso - I spoke to a young woman whose first language is clearly not English, asking me if the machine "does not flow the coffee?". She also did not confirm my personal details at the start of the conversation. I felt sorry for her, she was trying her hardest to be helpful and was polite and friendly. I will have to send my new machine back to Nespresso for repairs, which is an inconvenience. And as they no longer supply a loan coffee machine, we'll be without our coffee hit for 2-3 weeks. Third world problems, I know, but how Nespresso & Breville can put their names on such poor quality machines and have the gall to sell them at $949 is beyond me.Lasted 14 months
Nespresso Creatista Plus BNE800BSS (Brushed Stainless Steel)This is our second Nespresso machine.
For 12 months we loved the coffee made with this machine. Coffee pods always came from Nespresso, daily coffees and we kept it immaculate. Along with the $850 machine a lot of money was also spent on pods and extra equipment. After 14 months we started having fault codes 3 of them, the machine was sent back to Breville/Nespresso through Harvey Norman, came back 5 weeks later with one fault code and a cracked base. As the machine still worked despite this we did not want to send it back for another month.
Purchased in at Harvey Norman for $850.

Great pod machine
Nespresso Creatista Plus BNE800BSS (Brushed Stainless Steel)This is a consistent performer... I wish that Nespresso would show what they put in their coffee pods... I am aware that caramel is added to some and I think an emulsifier is added to others?

Looks great on the kitchen bench
Nespresso Creatista Plus BNE800BSS (Brushed Stainless Steel)Look great machine but immediately as soon as you make a coffee, change the milk temperature, out of the factory the temp is set to lava

Constant problems
Nespresso Creatista Plus BNE800BSS (Brushed Stainless Steel)This is the second Creatista machine in 5 years as well as numerous smaller Nespresso machines.
Purchased in February 2021 and still under warranty, it is constantly showing "attach steam tip" code, which was surprising as the frother is only used twice a day.
After online searching of possible causes, I purchased a new tip from Nespresso, reset the factory settings and descaled the machine. The error code continued, so I entered into a live chat with Nespresso. It was confirmed a repair was necessary and taking into account posting the machin

Refused warranty. Broken heating system and steam wand.
Nespresso Creatista Plus BNE800BSS (Brushed Stainless Steel)Machine is 6 months old. Does not heat and steam wand completely stopped working. When you push the button with a capsule, only cold coffee comes out. I contacted nespresso and the have refused to honour warranty on the machine. They say they believe I used non nespresso capsules on the machine that the warranty has been voided. I actually have been using the nespresso capsules they were just ordered under a different account. I told them I can even prove with an invoice that I bought nespresso capsules. They will do anything to get out of warranty. Sunbeam support and delongi support are so much better stay away from breville

My coffee mate
Nespresso Creatista Plus BNE800BSS (Brushed Stainless Steel)A good little machine, was reliable until 12 months in then it went wild - leaking from the base - but the Nespresso's collect and return program had it back to me in a month. It's used every day multiple times so having a fit after approaching 1000 coffees isn't bad. Noisy, reliable, easy to use, demands maintenance every 6 months or so, makes great coffee...enough said.

Ahh morning coffee was never better
Nespresso Creatista Plus BNE800BSS (Brushed Stainless Steel)My husband and I enjoy our morning coffee. This machine is easy to use and requires little maintenance compared to our previous machines. I use a variety of coffee pods and have had nil issues so far. I had to change the milk settings to hot as we like out coffee extra hot. This was very easy to do by just following the on screen prompts. The cost was an initial shock but as my grandson would say 'you get what you paid for nan," and nan is very happy.

Same yourself time:
Nespresso Creatista Plus BNE800BSS (Brushed Stainless Steel)Not a good machine to purchase. The steam wand keeps having issues where it wont froth the milk- and wont even work at times. Machine has to be sent down south for repairs. Have had a replacement machine provided by Nespresso - but still having the same issues with the replacement machine.
Purchased in for $845.

wow - do you like to edit honest reviews much? At least let the customers know exactly what they are getting themselves into by purchasing a nespresso machine.
Terrible Lemon of a machine
Nespresso Creatista Plus BNE800BSS (Brushed Stainless Steel)Like a previous reviewer, I purchased this machine from Good Guys in June 2021.It must have been a very bad month at the factory as our machine is the same type of lemon others have described. My daughter has one that works, so I do know they can be good, and can only surmise that this batch has something terribly wrong or it was Friday afternoon at the factory. Our machine worked well for a couple of months, then started making soap-like bubbles and not heating the milk no matter what setting we used.We rang the product help line and the woman
... Read moretalked us through the settings before deciding we needed another steam tip.We waited for that to arrive, coffee-less, but hopeful, and found it made no difference at all.Rang again, waited ages again to be answered, got told it had to be sent in for repair. We live out of town and I work, so a trip to the post office is difficult to arrange.Went without coffee as we awaited it’s return with fingers crossed. Shortly after it came back, with the drip tray now broken during its time away, it started just frothing milk all over the kitchen and being cold or warm on a whim.Rang again, waited ages on the phone again, got told it had to be sent back AGAIN. Packed it up, tried to organise time off for another trip to the post office, dreamed about a cup of coffee without having to hose down the kitchen. It came back again, drip tray replaced- woo, made a few cups of coffee with an uneasy sense of dread. You guessed it- milk foaming all over the kitchen, bubbles everywhere, lukewarm coffee.Have rang again, been told it has to go back again, but haven’t received a postal label yet, so another weekend has gone by with only the bitter disappointment of stick coffee. I don’t think I can take it again. Not without proper coffee. It’s spent more time at the repair centre than in our kitchen. We’ve been through endless milk and coffee and packing tape and petrol. Our spirits are broken. Please just send us a new machine from a different batch that isn’t a lemon!Purchased in at The Good Guys Online store.

Waste of Money
Nespresso Creatista Plus BNE800BTR (Black Truffle)Bought this from the Good Guys 22/6/2021. Loved all the settings available however it was loud, and I mean LOUD. Within 3 months the milk frothing wand stopped working (wouldn't heat the milk even when on the hottest setting and started making loads of air bubbles instead of lovely textured milk) so after troubleshooting, raised a case with Concierge 2/10/21. After fighting with Concierge due to their sheer lack of communication and being without the machine while it gets "fixed" fast forward to 18/11/2021 and I finally receive a call that the

Fantastic machine
Nespresso Creatista Plus BNE800BSS (Brushed Stainless Steel)I love our Creatista Plus. It gets used several times a day without any problems. I've only used the Nespresso coffee pods in it which I'm very happy with. A bit expensive, but a few years in it's paid for itself.

Questions & Answers
My creatista plus stopped pumping water (for coffee and from the steam wand) I've tried everything please help
Hi Kenny, have you tried ringing Nespresso? Their customer service can be hit and miss, but hopefully you will get someone who speaks good English and knows what they're talking about. They will run you through steps to check your machine and if none of that works, you can arrange to send your machine back to Nespresso for repairs at no cost to you if it is still under Warranty. You will have to securely package your machine (find a box the right size for machine and wrap your machine in bubble wrap, enjoy ...), attach the label that Nespresso sends you and take your machine to your local Aust Post store. Pump failure is a common problem with the Creatista Plus machines. Repair turnaround was fairly quick the last time I used it.
My creatista plus is leaking water underneath machine, how do i fix it.
Reading all these negative reviews dating back from 2 years ago (until recent), I’m wondering if any of these faults have now been rectified? Mainly seems to be a problem with the milk wand.
In my opinion none of the faults have been rectified and Breville simply don’t care.
In our case we have had multiple machines - some replaced under warranty and all failed. The steam wand, the seal between the capsules and the machine and the heating element are all areas of concern.
Hi Neil. Thanks for your response. It’s a pity that the faults are still there as otherwise it seems like a potentially great machine.
Almost bought one, glad I read the reviews first! Yes, it seems neither Breville nor Nespresso care, considering how many people are still complaining about the same issues. How frustrating for you guys!

Points of praise
The Creatista Plus makes customised coffee, which reviewers loved. They could choose the size of their shot, as well as preferred milk thickness and frothiness. This made the Creatista Plus a favourite for all of the family. For example, many reviewers said it catered to their preference for immediately-drinkable coffee, as well as their partner's preference for piping-hot coffee. Kids also enjoyed the hot chocolates, as the Creatista Plus can make milk-only drinks, too.
The quality and consistency of coffee was applauded by reviewers. One reviewer summarised it aptly when they wrote: ‘We use it every day and have never had a bad coffee yet.’ Smooth coffees and silkily-frothed milk were highlights, along with temperature setting which pinpointed the accuracy of coffee quality each time.
Notably easy to use and to clean, the Creatista features an integrated LED display that walks you through every step of the process, while an assisted cleaning function ‘purges’ the automatic steam wand after each use for easier cleaning.
