I've had these tyres on my rear of my RWD V8 for less then 2 months and they are horrible. Noisy from the moment they were fitted, terrible grip when trying to take off and in the wet. Regret paying double the price for these over the cheap tyres that give the same if not better performance. Do not recommend! Show details

For maximum longevity, keeping the vehicle properly aligned and maintaining proper tyre pressure is essential, as the Alenza is sensitive to alignment issues, which can cause premature wear.
Based on user reports and performance reviews, a well-maintained set of Bridgestone Alenza tyres (specifically the Alenza 001 or A/S Plus models) driven conservatively on well-maintained roads can last well beyond 50,000 kilometers. With regular, professional rotations - every 10,000–15,000 km (although I personally recommend every 5,000 km with a wheel alignment every 10,000 km) and strict attention to tyre pressure, users have reported achieving over 65,000 and even up to 80,000 km‼️ While some users report low wear and needing replacements around 30,000–50,000 km or even lower - this can be due to a number of contributing factors; such as - the vehicle weight (SUV/EV), extra added load, towing, aggressive driving, little or no tyre maintenance, incorrect pressure, and driving on rough roads: Good regular maintenance and conservative driving on good roads can significantly extend the wear life of these tyres.
I bought a used 2024 RAV4 2WD Hybrid in JULY 2025 (10 months old with 15,570km); with Alenza’s as factory fitted. I have since traveled to 20,000 km and they have plenty of tread depth on them. The car has had 2 wheel alignments, done every 12 months or 10,000 km and tyre rotation and balances done every 6 months or 5,000 km - and I intend on maintaining that tyre maintenance schedule, as I have done with all my previous cars and tyres. I use a PSI of 38 (recommended by my tyre technician) not 33 PSI as TOYOTA recommends for the RAV4 - to compensate for the vehicles weight and for better rolling resistance. My car is a hybrid, so I naturally drive it conservatively. I accelerate and brake gently, corner gently and I don’t speed - to get the best out of my car and tyres in the long run. 80 - 90% of my driving is on the freeway and I usually travel at 90 km/h maximum for better fuel economy instead of 100 km/h. I have found these tyres to be fantastic in every aspect. They feel smooth to drive on and not noisy. They feel grippy around windy roads. I feel safe on wet roads, and when I have had to brake excessively, the car has never skidded - even in the wet. I feel very safe driving on them. I also get excellent fuel economy - better than TOYOTA’s advertised hybrid economy of 21 - 22 km/L (around 4.55 to 4.76L/100 km) for combined driving. Despite TOYOTA’s advertised fuel economy, independent real-world tests for highway driving with similar conditions to my driving habits often report figures closer to 16.9 to 18.2 km/L (around 5.5 to 5.9 L/100km). But I still manage to achieve 21 - 22 km/L (around 4.55 to 4.76L/100 km) travelling five 60km freeway trips a week at 90km/hr and four to six 5 -10km stop/start city driving trips a week at a maximum speed of 50 - 70 km/h. Tyres play a big part in fuel economy. Your fuel economy is affected by your driving style, your driving conditions, and your tyre pressure and tyre maintenance.
I have always achieved maximum mileage from any tyre brand I buy - I believe that TYRE LIFE COMES DOWN TO NOT ONLY THE QUALITY OF THE TYRE, BUT MORE OFTEN THE DRIVER’s DRIVING HABITS, AND HOW THEY MAINTAIN THEM, AS WELL AS THE ROADS THEY ARE DRIVEN ON. Of course, you also need to buy the most suitable tyres for the type of vehicle you own, the type of driving you will be mostly undertaking and in what conditions and what type of roads you will be driving on - to get the maximum results and wear life from your tyres.
From what I have read here from other reviewers, there are mixed reviews about tyre wear. Some getting long wear life and some getting very low. But for those giving bad reviews about low wear life; are they driving conservatively or aggressively? Do they get regular wheel rotation and balances and regular wheel alignments? Do they check their tyre pressure regularly and use the correct tyre pressure according to their circumstances? Do they have a heavy vehicle, carry extra load, or do they tow? Do they do mostly consistent freeway driving, or a lot of stop/start city driving? Do they brake heavily, or anticipate the traffic ahead and cruise to a stop, braking gently? Do they accelerate excessively from a standpoint or do they accelerate gradually? Do they corner sharply or gently? Do they chop and change lanes regularly and unnecessarily? Do they travel on windy roads more often than usual? Do they speed or drive the speed limit or under? Do they drive on smooth, good roads, or rough or dirt roads? These are the types of questions you need to ask yourself when you are reading somebody else’s review and opinion of a product. That’s why it’s best to always seek professional advice suited to your own personal needs.
It’s great to read consumer reviews, but they are not always 100% reliable due to the type of car the drivers own, their driving style and the conditions they drive under and how they’re maintained. The best advice you really can get is from your tyre technician combined with user reviewers similar to you.
I highly recommend JAX Tyres or BRIDGESTONE Tyres when purchasing new tyres, especially if you need an entire new set of 4 tyres - both companies offer sales of 4 new tyres for the price of 3 on a regular basis, along with other cashback offers and discounts. They both also give free 6 monthly rotation and balances for the life of the tyres with a full mechanical inspection also free for the life of the tyres.
It’s like cars themselves. Some cars can have a lifespan of 200,000 km or even less with major catastrophic breakdowns, when their owners don’t look after them or do regular maintenance and drive them hard - putting excessive stress on the car. Whilst the same car owned by another driver and maintained regularly and driven more carefully can reach 500,000 km or even more on the same engines and transmissions without any major catastrophic repairs needed.
In my opinion, quality and price is only part to blame for how much life you get out of your tyres, the other and most important part is how you look after them and the conditions you use them under; and these tyres have reportedly been known to reach 80,000 km‼️

I would recommend looking at alternatives like Michelin Defender LTX or Continental Cross Contact for better durability.

particular their low road noise on tar has impressed me greatly. On twisty roads the Alenza grips incredibly well, even on wet tar and they have earnt my confidence. They have never felt like they're losing grip. I can't comment much on durability at this stage as I've only had them a couple of months but I'm expecting them to wear well. I highly recommend Alenzas. Good tyres.
Wore out quickly on my 22 BMW x4 30i, daily driven and only got 18,000kms as the front tire sidewall was less than 1.6mm, monitor the psi and align wheels every year. Noisy, but you do get alright communication through it, pity about the longevity
Lasted half as many kms as previous tyres – Rear tyre is now not-legal after 50k. Other side is almost not-legal. Previous Michelin Pilot Sports lasted 100k. We drive very conservatively to ensure tyres last as long as possible. Won’t be buying these again. Show details
A great all round tyre – 65,000klms out of them - only changing them now because they are due. Towed caravans and a boat regularly, some offroad and snow too. Very good tyre, came as factory fitted on my Subaru Outback MY 21, base model. You can buy cheaper tyres, but they will get half the life and the hassle factor of changing them isn't worth it, I'm going to buy the second set for my Subaru now. Show details

70000 km review – Have had Alenza 001's (not Ecopia 001) on from brand new on a 2019 Rav 4. Tyres made in Japan. Completed 70000km on them with no problems on rubbish rural Australian roads. alignment and still very even wear. Run pressure at 38/40 psi. Cannot fault. About to replace them with the same and hopefully get the same distance out of them. (Update July 24), Replaced tyres with the same, after talking to local tyre retailer, the Alenza 001 is sourced for sale in Australia from China and Japan, I always prefer to fit tyres made in Japan. I specifically asked if he could get the ones made in Japan, which he rang Bridgestone and lucky for me they had 4 in stock. A family member has the Ecopia 001 on his Subaru Outback and has not got the same distance out of them as my Alenza 001, and his main driving is also highway.
Don't buy – Purchased 4 at BJ's last november 18000 miles later down to 2/32 tread. Bridgestone told me no mileage guarantee, BJ's tells me its Bridgestones Problem I'm stuck with 8 month old worn out tires. Show details

Magic carpet ride quality – I replaced the Pirelli scorpion zeros 295 40r21 , with Alenza 275 45r21. On all measures noise, dry grip, wet grip, wet stopping, dry stopping, steering and handling they are magnificent. The ability to reduce the noise on pot holes or uneven roads, ie that boom sound is unbelievable. There is some sorcery going on. Best tyre hands down. GL500 owner. Show details

Best tyres I’ve bought in a long time! – I’ve only had them fitted to a Lexus RX450h for a few weeks, but I’ve covered a few thousand k’s already in a mix of rain, dry, country, hills and city driving and I’m really impressed with the all round comfort and handling. I cannot fault them and only wish that I’d fitted them before after a really bad run with an alternative premium brand. I’ll have to wait and see how they wear but at least it’s enjoyable to steer now. Show details
Excellent tyres for an SUV – Cannot believe the tyres work so well for a BMW SUV X3 30i weighted almost 2000kg. Like someone already mentioned, I have to remind myself that I am not driving a sports hatch all the time. Very grippy especially on conners and quite on highways.

Great tyre – Just replaced factory fitted Toyo 225/55R19 on 2016 Mazda CX-5 Alkera. Very happy with Toyos but durability an issue as only lasted 40,000 km. It is too early to comment on wet weather grip and durability.
Gympie Bridgestone tyre centre was very helpful and professional throughout the purchase process. Getting regular servicing thanks to supplied Bridgestone servicing program is a great bonus.
PS.Look great on the car. Much better than the Toyos. Seem to give the vehicle a lower profile.
Excellent highway tyre – Excellent all purpose tyres but feels best on the highway . Impressive handling performance in both dry and wet situations. Road noise was noticeably reduced compared to the original fit. It transformed the driving experience of family wagon to prestige SUV immediately. Don’t hesitate if it’s on promotion. and CSC5, whilst good tyres, have had very short lifespan. Initial impression of the Alenza 001 is good but there is not much difference between all premium brands anyway. The Alenza seems to turn more decisively than the CSC5, whilst maintaining smooth ride. In comparison, the CSC5 has a habit of tram lining and it was much more nervous staying straight at the steering wheel. Grip is ample for the Alenza, but fuel economy is slightly worse than CSC5, which I was able to achieve 7.8L/100km on a good run, whereas Alenza is usually 0.3-0.5L more per 100km. Tyre noise is very good at motorway speed - it is barely noticeable. However, there is a whirly wind noise that is particularly noticeable at steady 60-70km/hr on smoothly laid asphalt - I didn't notice this with the other tyres. It is too early to comment on tyre wear and mileage. The Alenza I got does not have the usual tyre markings such as the UTQG rating, plies construction information, inflation and safety information. Despite repeated reassurance from the Bridgestone manager, it still concerns me as it feels like a prototype tyre rushed to the market. Nonetheless, the tyres have been robust and perform well. The biggest disappointment has been the Bridgestone franchise who fitted my tyres, as he was careless and left 4 sets of teeth mark on the inner rim of each alloy wheel from the tyre fitting machines. The local Bridgestone tyre manager apologised profusely over this debacle. UPDATE (15-10-2021): Pleasingly, this set of tyre has given me trouble free motoring for the past 3+ years and guess what? I decided to buy another set of Alenza to replace the previous one, so this is definitely an endorsement of the product. I think I have done ~50000km in the 3 years and there was still around 3mm thread depth except front two were out of alignment (my fault) and worn. I kept the rear two in the garage as spare in case I need to replace a pair across the axel. BTW, the UTQG rating has been imprinted on the tyre sidewall, Treadwear '300', Traction 'A' Temperature 'A'.
Didn’t realise how noisy my last tyres actually were! – Fantastic tyres. I originally wanted the Bridgestone potenza as they were in my budget, plus part of the current 4 for the price of 3 campaign run by Bridgestone. As they were out of stock, I was offered the alenza for the same price. I’m a girl, and tyres are tyres as far as I’m concerned, but I found these excellent.
