Bridgestone Ecopia Eco

Garbage product, both front tyres scrubbed out after 15,000 on a wheel alignment, now one just got a flat, drove a few hundred metres at 25km/h to return home and belt in tyre failed and can’t be repaired. Great tyres if you like replacing every year on low km.
Wet traction is inadequate – Four tires were replaced altogether with Bridgestone Ecopia EP150. - Overall, the performance is satisfactory. - Wet traction is inadequate. - Tread depths have decreased to approximately 1.7mm–2mm after 32,361km over 8 years. Show details
Bridgestone Ecopia EP300 3.5 yrs old.35000km tyre cracking, worn, replacing – Bridgestone tyres lasted 35,000 kms fitted to yaris hatchback. Tread worn tyres show sidewall cracking which I also contribute to 2 of the 4 tyres developing slow leaks without punctures 3.5 years old. they advised that 35000km is with in there expected range, also was offered small token percentage discount to replace tyres that came with terms and conditions. This was not accepted and have chosen a Michellen tyre set.

Smooth & Silent – to be honest i don't really like ECO tyres since they have very weak sidewall... but when i read the review on the internet it seems like such a good tyre... so i go try it for my 2014 suzuki swift & i was surprised that i can really feel it's rolling smoother than my previous Austone Athena & much much more silent.... hopefully it really long lasting as well Show details
Dangerous! – Side wall blowout in multiple areas right around the tyre. Absolutely shocking. Occured on a major highway, travelling at 95klm ,Vic. Australia Japan factory year 2021 Show details

Fantastic grip, great price and good endurance – Fantastic grip, great price and good endurance to go along with it! Highly recommend this range of tire for the daily consumer
Ten Years! – My Bridgestone Ecos lasted Ten Years (with Nitrogen)! Although I only did about 70,000 on them they sat in full sun the entire time. Also got the fantastic 4 for the price of 3, and the Boys at Carina were super fast and friendly. Big sigh of relief for the next ten years with my old Jalopy. Many Thanks Show details
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious – Just purchased 4 for the price of 3 EP300s, as the previous tyres were EP100s, got 72,888kms from them. They did everything they were meant to and more. Show details

Disappointed – Not even 30,000kms and I’m due for a new set of tyres. They have been rotated and balanced every 10,000km but still wore very quick to not even last a year. Considering 99% of kms were km driven on highways. Show details
Poor Wear – I got 45,000kms from my Ecopia EP100s, but only got 30,000kms from the EP300s. I was happy with the tires generally on my Ford Falcon V6 sedan, but the wear was very poor. This time I am trying the Dunlop FM800 after many good reviews. My fingers are crossed. Show details
Not bad tyres if pavement is dry – I bought these about two years ago from Bridgestone but have only driven about 5,000 km since period coincided with COVID pandemic. * Positives: good vehicle handling and excellent performance in dry asphalt. * Negatives: poor get grip to the point vehicle will slide while loosing control. * Unknown: I haven't measured tyre wear so I cannot… Read more
report it. Conclusion: I will definitely will not buy them again because of the safety risk under wet conditions. I will definitely check other tyre reviews before making my next purchase.

Painted RED in tracks – Tyres performance ok Painted RED in tracks looks CHEAP & NASTY If you expect your tyres to look good DON'T BUY ECOPIA UNTIL YOU HAVE CHECKED FOR RED PAINT !! Show details
Terrible in the Wet – Put these 175 70 R14 tyres on my wife's 2014 Yaris given the test results and having owned previous Bridgestone tyres. While they are quiet and are wearing ok after 30,000kms, since the tyres were new the car feels like it's on skates in the wet. The pressures are always checked and the tyres rotated and wheels aligned. Given the good wet weather… Read more
rating on their site, I sent an email to Bridgestone asking why the tyres are so bad in the wet - no reply. Very disappointed and we won't be buying Bridgestone tyres again

Disappointing – Bought four tyres 22 months ago. Bridgestone rotated the tyres 10 months ago. They have been fine but front tyres need replacing after 25 000 km so I won't buy again. Cost $157 each. I expected them to last longer. Show details
Happy with Bridgestones – This is the third set of Bridgestone Ecopia tyres I've had on my Ford Mondeo Zetec TDCI. The first set were what it had fitted from the factory. I used this fact as a base when looking for new tyres. Handling, durability, comfort and cost are factors I consider when buying tyres. Many years ago I made the mistake of fiitting no name chinese… Read more
tyres to a Falcon XR6. Those tyres were dangerous especially in the wet and I would advise anyone to stick with the Big Brand name tyres for safetys sake.
The most recent set of Ecopias were purchased several months ago when Bridgestone had the four for the price of three offer. The thing with Bridgestone tyres also is that all the big tyre chains sell them so they will often beat other quotes on these tyres if you ask.
I've found these tyres to provide excellent milage i.e over 70000klms on the last set and have never had a puncture touch wood even towards the end of their life even as the wear indicators become evident. I have no issues with their dry or wet road performance and they are a very quiet tyre when fitted to my vehicle. They perform well at speed on the highway and also on unsealed roads. The Ecopias are suppose to aid fuel economy by providing less rolling resistance but this is hard to quantify but the stiffer side walls dont affect the ride comfort adversely.
I 've had many tyres on different vehicles over the years and have stuck with Bridgestone on my vehicles for a while now because so far they have offered a good compromise in my opinion between cost, performance and durability.
Saviours in the wet – My Ecopias have proven endurable so far with 7000 km on them in 3months .Good grip on slippery roads.Economical,I will buy them again.Bridgestone Select Malaga :the proprietor is wonderful. Satisfied Show details
Glad they were recommended - Love the ride! – Noticed low pressure and nail in rear tyre before a long run up freeway. Drove into Bob Jane who agreed to fix puncture within the hour. Rang me and said he was concerned about low tread on Front (Lexus ES300) recommended Ecopia EP300s. Wow what a difference. Quiet, smooth as silk and the grip feels like they are clamped to the road. I just love the ride and quietness. Haven't pushed them in the wet yet but have a lot of confidence. Show details
Excellent tyres – Reliable tyres for a small car like mine. Noted a significant drop with noises while the car is on the road compared to the last tyres being fitted. Nil complains Show details
Tyres cracking up in less than 6 months, replaced with Bridgestone ECOPIA 300 and that is now cracking too – Not very reliable and poor quality tyres. Poor performance not good as the previous bridgestone tyres I knew of. Not very durable, thinking of changing to some other brand soon if quality does not improve Show details
Best Tyres you can rely and trust – This is the second time and probably many more to come to purchase these trustworthy tyres. Its quiet, braking is great and during wet roads, it doesn't fail to stop when brakes are pressed. A trustworthy tyres. Show details
Disapponted – I would have thought, as other on the website, that these tyres would last greater than 30,000km. These tyres are carefully maintained, with 10,000 km rotations, and light suburban travels. Again came with a new car... Show details
Excellent tyres all around – These tyres are great. Comfortable, quiet, and fuel efficient. It does what it says as it's being described in Bridgestone website. These tyres are much better than the other previous ones I've owned. These tyres are also very fuel efficient as I have saved fuel by using these tyres. I'll only get Bridgestone tyres from now on.

Perfect – Bought Bridgestone ecopia tyres for my work commute/ spare car being an older Honda Civic , there was a special of buy 4 and pay for 3. These tyres will probably outlast my car, or even me, they run very smoothly and quietly, very happy. Show details
Excellent wearing tyres – Have used these for years. Great grip and long wearing 100K plus makes them great value. Quiet in use, sticky tyres that are great roadholding and wear characteristics for the price Show details
Great first impression and then nope – UPDATE: Jan 2025 After 40,000kms, these became hard as rocks and were horrible to drive on. Plenty of tread left on them, but OMG, they have become horrible. Getting rid of them. Original text below I have just swapped out the OEM Kuhmo Solus KH17 which only lasted 30,000km with Bridgestone Ecopia EP150 purchased on a Buy 4/Get 1 free deal. … Read more
First impressions were good compared to the original tyres. Ride quality feels more supple and noise is signficantly less. I cannot comment on the longevity so will be interesting to see how these go but felt it worth sharing early due to the obvious driving improvements noticed straight away . I run the tyres at 36PSI
Good value tyre, running okay but a bit high noise – Bought 4 of this tyre (buy 3 get 4th free) from Bob Jane T-mart to replace factory original bridgestone ER370 for my honda Jazz. Not bad tyre, running well for both dry and wet conditions. But a bit higher noise on the highway. But overall a good value for budget tyre if you can secure the deal for buy 4 only pay 3. Short life tyres – These tyres came with a new car, however they only last 28,000km, in less three years period time. I expected they could run 4-50,000km like others even those unknown brands. I gently drove the car in the city like past 20+ years, checked the tyres pressure regularly, rotated the tyres every 10,000km, never overloaded. Finally I had not found… Read more
uneven tread wearing when replacing them --- no wheel alignment issue. very disappointed about Bridgestone in terms of durability. I have bought another brand of tyres. The positive side is comfy ride, quiet.
Great – Bought Bridgestone ecopia tyres three months ago.good braking on these tyres.it is definitely economical.i notice difference in fuel. On highway use to be 6.5-7 litre now 5.5-6 litres/100. Was good price buy for pay for three tyres. Show details
They do the job – Purchased two tyres 5 months ago, have since done a bit over 5000 kms (some hwy miles, mostly city) with no problems. The other two currently on are also Ecopia, and are still going strong after two years. Show details
Great Tyre this Bridgestone Turanza – I find these tyres to be good in all conditions. The car travels smoothly since having these tyres put on. The last set I had on lasted in excess of 60,000km Good mileage. Show details
Not scared to drive my Aurion aggressively anymore – After 3 years since I've bought my 2007 Aurion AT-X, the Yokohama A-Drive tyres than came with it needed replacing. I went with Ecopia EP300 from Costco which had a buy three get one free deal campaign. Total cost of the tyres and fitting cost me $365 iirc which I thought was a bargain. They are worlds better when it comes to grip. I haven't had… Read more
any wheel spin at full throttle unlike the old tyres. Grip is not sublime in wet weather but still much better than before. I haven't had the tyres long enough to see if they improve fuel economy as advertised though. I'll update my review once I've had the tyres for long. I'll also update how badly they wear.
Next time I will go for the RE003's to see if they improve wet grip.
Best tyres on the road – Great tread. Just put them on car a few weeks ago and hasn't disappointed. In all conditions my car has grip on the roads and for my son who is on learners he is definitely safe with the amount of quality put into making these particular tyres. Bridgestone Service Centre is also always available to help and had given me recommendations for the most suitable tyres for my Pajero. Show details
Best Tyres for Fuel Economy – These tyres have saved me money on fuel. I log book all of my travels and fuel consumption and have proved that these tyres save me around $75 per year on fuel consumption. Love the low rolling resistance without affecting comfort or safety, which is so very important when driving a small car - Toyota Getz sedan. I will never buy anything else having tried Bridgestone tyres! Show details
Great tyres – This tyres are best with great grip . I driven my car 60,000 km with these tyres. Totally worth of money . Show details
