The worst bouncer we ever had – Out of all of my children in 15 years, this is the worst bouncer I have ever had. The straps are ill fitting, the toys hang in the baby's face, it doesn't bounce properly, & the padding hangs down on the baby's head. Save yourself grief and money and buy something else.

Absolutely love this bouncer – We have one of these Ingenuity Bright Starts Automatic Bouncers and it has been fantastic. I have no idea why people give it such bad reviews. We got it second hand and some days it is the only thing we can put our 5 week old in that will get her to sleep (along with her Rock and Play Sleeper) The bounce is very subtle and mimics the bounce that… Read more

the mother does when baby is in her arms so when I put her down in it she barely notices that I don't have hold of her anymore.

The bouncer has about 6 different music settings and my babies favorite is the crickets.

The only two things I don't like about it is that the straps are so short, she is 5 weeks old and chubby and can barely fit into the harness. And also I wish that the bouncing didn't stop after a certain time period. Because I have to rush over to turn it back on before she wakes up.

Good auto bouncer – Good automatic bouncer with toy bar, music and comfortable padding for bub. It works well when bub is already calm and need something to continue the rocking/bouncing motion so you can go and do a few things. Downside was it only gently bounces... Not hard enough to calm bub from crying. Good product to have if your bubs likes that continuous motion and if you have the space, but not an essential item for all bubs.

Great for our little guy! – This is a good bouncer, not amazing. It's a nice size, the newborn head insert helps keep bub comfy, the design is cute, I like the white noise sound selection. Only complaints are the toy arch comes off too easily (my toddler can take it off), I don't know how (or if you can) change the strength of the automatic bouncing, and the harness straps… Read more

should be a bit bigger. The straps are also in an awkward spot, and bub sometimes cries when he's laying on them. I wouldn't but it brand new. I got mine secondhand for $30.

Failed within 3 months – Rocker was great at first but vibrating/rocker feature stopped working before bub even turned 3 months! Had to return for refund, for the money ($85) I would have expected better quality. Bub didn't mind sitting in it without rocker on, but it didn't send him to sleep without rocking on. As was purchased online and site doesn't stock any more,… Read more

had to purchase another before returning so I wasn't without a chair (need him in it to shower some days!!); then waited for refund so was out of pocket for a couple weeks.

Not great – Ive used it alot but a bit disappointed in the design. firstly the hanging overhead toy bar does not click far enough down so the toys are literally in the babys face or on his head! The bounce feature is very weak and hardly moves the baby at all but I do use the product as a chair and feed my baby in it instead of a high chair

What a waste!!! – Bought it when bub was one week old thinking it will help him with colic. It does not do anything that it claims to do. Its barely bouncing on its own which suppose to be automatic. The seat should have been more lay back for newborns not upright. My son never liked it. So I went and bought Bright Stars Safari bouncer which does have vibration and… Read more

melody. From the moment i placed him on it he apsolutely loved it and still does.

I would not recommend this bouncer to anyone.

Waste of $$$ – We already had a standard bouncer with the vibrate function, but found our little one liked being bounced up and down quite a bit, but being only 6wks old at the time she couldn't get the bounce herself. I saw this on sale and thought it would free us up a bit from sitting and bouncing her up and down in the other one. Assembled it, put fresh… Read more

batteries in, put bub in and turned it on auto-bounce mode. It moved a total of maybe 1cm. You had to look closely to even notice it moving that much.

Funnily enough the "Heartbeat mode" made it bounce more than the proper bouncing mode, but even still it was only 2cm.

Certainly doesn't do the job we expected it to, and at double the price of an ordinary bouncer it is absolutely not worth the money. We returned it the following week for a refund as it didn't do what it claimed to do.

Checked the store model too and it was just as bad, so we didn't have a faulty one. Neutral colors and design Barely bounces at all automatically, One of the songs was crackly

Glad I have it – The rocker in itself is cushy and holds baby secure in a semi reclined position. My baby spends his day time 'down time' in the rocker, used as a day-bed so I can keep him close wherever I need to be in the house. The rocking motion is not constant, it comes and goes as if simulating a mum rocking bub. The music/sounds are pleasant to hear,… Read more

half an hour of it playing on a loop does not drive me insane.

On hot days, the rocker's cushiness makes baby too hot.

Was tricky to get together but not enough to make me frustrated with it.

The colour scheme is nice (bella vista) but the toys (snail & bee) are not very exciting for a baby. My bub is only just 5wks old though. Useful as more than just a rocker. Makes bub hot due to lots of padding.

awesome when it works properly – I find this bouncer is way too erratic, when it bounces properly it is great but then it does some weird bounces and bub wakes up as the rythym has changed, it also will not let me select the speed of the bouncing as sometimes it needs to be faster to get him to relax. Unless my bouncer is in some way defective I am very disappointed with it… Read more

overall looks great, works well as a manual bouncer, great padding for a newborn, great price 79.95 weird bouncing patterns

Worth every cent! – I love this bouncer and so does my baby! I have the Bella Vista design and bought it from Deals Direct for only $80. My baby finds the toy bar very interesting and reaches up towards it and seems to enjoy making the toys move about. For the first week I didn't have any batteries and he still enjoyed sitting in it playing with the toys. His natural… Read more ·  1

movements would also make the bouncer move a little. In fact, I often don't even have to turn it on even now, saving money by not using the batteries. There are two bouncer settings and an option to play music. The bouncing action is very gentle and there is not much difference between the two settings. In saying that, I think the gentle bounce is fantastic and all he needs to relax. At times when he has been unsettled the music has been very soothing and seems to calm him pretty much instantly. One of the best features is the automatic bouncing which goes for 30 minutes. This has really given me the ability to eat food etc while baby happily sits in the bouncer playing with his toys and listening to the calming music. The music isn't irritating, I could happily listen to the tunes over and over. This has been one of the best baby buys ever. I also have a Baby Bjorn and while the Baby Bjorn is also fantastic it is not something I can use to settle him whereas this bouncer is. Automatic bouncing, easy listening music. Difficult to put together.
