Outrageous overcharging – This company gave me an outrageously overpriced quote of $7,574.60 to supply and install a MHI Bronte 8kw split air conditioner. The unit is advertised for retail sale for $2400-$2600, so I asked for an explanation for their roughly $5000 installation cost, especially since I was told over the phone installation is normally $1100-$1500. emails over several days from THREE TIERS of administration (first Karys, then Talissa, finally Elena - the company director!). All tried to justify the pricing but failed. I requested the company manager and license holder (Stefano) respond but have never gotten a reply. I ended up buying the unit for $2600 and had it installed by someone else for $995. Running beautifully. Sadly I am left with the impression this company was on the look out for a wood duck, an easy mark. I expect Elena will respond to this review by trying again to justify the outrageous quote. I would hope not. Only an apology is due for attempting to overcharge me, especially as an older person first pulled in with exceptionally nice, caring sounding reception and reasonable sounding pricing over the phone. The written quote was a different story. I remain shocked to this day that anyone would try to talk me into accepting it as reasonable and signing. It should have been promptly withdrawn. I only hope it was a one-off and others are not being overcharged to this extent. However, the company's failure to respond to my email requesting the company manager and license holder respond has left me concerned. The director, Elena Sim, for all her professionalism, has no electrical qualifications and appears to hail from a business entrepreneurial and marketing background. I cannot recommend Brillare and suggest people closely check quotes and technical advice, and beware being taken in by superficial appearances.

Exceptional service – Brillaire electrical are absolutely brilliant! Second time I have used them. Talissa was extremely competent and patient and the team that came to me today ryley and his work associate were incredible. Whilst not everything was fixed it was through no fault of their own. Robbery – Asked for a quote to disconnect a household alarm which ive been told by other electricians takes no longer than 5 minutes. Quoted $295.00, this company is some joke!!

Installation of security cameras – I was very happy with the prompt service from Brillare Electrical with the installation of new security cameras. Amazing Perth local electricians! – I cannot recommend these guys enough, just so humble and polite, they did all of our led downlight installation and switchboard upgrade and we couldn’t be happier with the result. They used drop sheets to cover all our furniture to ensure there was no damage and even vacuumed afterwards to ensure that all was spotless. Highly recommend and will be referring to family and friends. Show reply
