Plumbing/Prestigious Plumbing scammed me and have since dlisappeared. Got a RACV membership plumber quote of $380 first hour and requesting a deposit..another plumber scaming pensioners. That almost $1000 Plumbing labourers for $15 rubber ring. I am putting towels on the floor..I cant trust these trades people l.

Great job – Blaine from PlumbFirst removed a 3,000lt water tank. Connected a down pipe to a drain that required a dig and removed the water tank's water pump, connecting its piping to town water. All done in just a few hours. Job well done.

I recommend checking their pricing in advance, as the charge seemed two to three times the usual rate. The plumber also insisted on staying until I paid, despite having sent me two invoices by mail.This persistence seemed a bit odd.

Plumber was able to come through quite fast, identify the issue, make good recommendations and do the fix no problems with a quote that didnt change. Good all round...

The young plumber who arrived had within 15 minutes replaced the supplied kitchen sink mixer I had been warned must be installed by a licensed plumber to meet insurance requirements. The plumber reluctantly gave me a receipt for my $295 payment but, despite several requests to the company, I still await the invoice that will prove the work was in fact done by a licensed plumber. I asked the plumber to check the leaking laundry taps. He glanced at them and said there was no problem. As a result I had to employ a second plumber to do the laundry repairs. Would not use this company again.

metropolitan told me it was a major job and they need to access in through the wall behind the kitchen, remove ensuite tiles to fix. Called in another company who fixed it in under 2 hours from the kitchen side and cost me $350 in total. If it was that easy why didn’t metropolitan fixed in when they attended site???? I have attached the original review and the new repair that Eire plumbing fixed for a third of the price. Metropolitan you should be so ashamed of your lack of customer service and over the top pricing. Absolute money grabbing rip off artists. They should be shut down.

He then proceeded to clear the roots out of the drain, flush it clean and replaced the trap. He was quick, courteous and thorough. The service is not cheap but you get what you paid for - in my case, a cleared drain done quickly without any digging or damage to the property. I highly recommend them.

additional work carried out that I was led to believe would resolve a problem. However, after they installed a new HWS and I had paid the bill, the original problem was still there. I was particularly disappointed by the way the situation was handled. I expected to receive honest advice, but instead I was left feeling that I had been taken advantage of because of my age and circumstances. I believe customers should be given clear advice, treated fairly.

Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company and have given them one star.
