DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. CANNOT DO THE JOB. TRY TO RIP YOU OFF.
Overpriced Deadbolt installation – $674 for a deadbolt supply and installation, totally overpriced compared to the $300 it cost to a deadbolt supply and installed previously. Sorry I didn't first read the reviews here, I wouldn't have used them.
Thieves – I lost my keys, so I needed new keys. He started charging me everything separately for a total of almost 700 dollars, I told him I found it cheaper and he lowered his price. After almost an hour he couldn't do anything, and he just left my car open and without the possibility of locking it. And after the incident he charged me 150. Hptaaaa
Scammers, avoid at all costs!! – Quoted me 180 on the phone. French guy arrived and tells me it was going to be 475 dollars to open my car door. I said no, he said he wanted to help me so he was only gonna charge me 375. Refused service. Insisted he wanted to help me, so "only" 250. Either he's losing money or he was trying to massively overcharge me. If it wasn't for my gf that… Read more
wanted to get it done soon I would've refused service all together and smashed a small rear window. Didn't even take him 5 minutes to open the car. I understand we have to pay for these services but mate you're charging more than a doctor's wage, c'mon. Scammers, would never ever recommend
Awful – They lie about their prices and charge you more than what they quoted. Awful experience.
Unprofessional – Quoted me 350-400 on the phone to change 5 locks after sending them pictures of the locks. Once they got here they said it would be 800. Eventually agreed on 500. They left a mess everywhere.
Unprofessional – Used their online form for a quote. Got a call from a lady saying they'll have to come on site for a quote and will cost $49 just to come on site and quote. I then got a quote from another locksmith, $99 to come and take off 2x locks. After looking at these reviews, very happy I went with someone else. I called them to let them know I will be going with someone else and they were a little bit aggressive with me.
Just break in – After unlocking my door the locksmith gave me a big "I don't make the prices" then I was charged $445! All in all, it's cheaper to replace a window then call these conmen.
Biggest cons in Brisbane! – These guys have a 100% guarantee on their site for cheapest price. I work in real estate and occasionally we need a locksmith. My regular wasn't able to come until after hours and said it would be MAX of $250 due to being AFTER HOURS (inc GST). I just wanted 1 door opened (keys were in the house) and didn't feel I wanted to spend $250 or wait… Read more
at the property for a few hours, and unfortunately they weren't available the next day. So I googled and went with this mob and arranged an appointment for 10am the next day. Received a rude message from the guy reminding me of the appointment, which he then rocked up 10 mins late for, picked the lock in 5 minutes and charged $360 for it! I questioned the price and he laughed at me and said it is the call out that is $35 and treated me like an idiot. Actually, their website says $29. And in what world can someone charge you another $330 for 5 minutes work? I have since phoned 3 other reputable locksmiths, all who confirm this work would have cost a call out fee only and I'd been blatantly ripped off by $250 or more. The manager called me today and not only admitted their website is misleading and they are very expensive but refused to refund. Have decided to lodge a formal complaint with the OFT. Seems over the top but these cons can't keep doing this to people. We are paying for their SEO ranking and google where they appear up the top and continue to rip more people off!
Wish I read the reviews first! – Website says 15 minutes within brisbane, waited 1.5 hours. Charged $400 to open a lock that took him 5 minutes to open. Wish we had rung a different company.
Dodgy – I made a booking through the phone to just open the door and I checked the price is according to their website. When technician came to site and opened the door in less than 5 minutes he wanted us to pay him $260 . That is more 125% more than what is quoted on website. It should have been $102 according to website including 10% extra for weekend… Read more
as stated . When I told him he acted like he didn’t know website price and it is wrong etc then asked how much we can pay him we we’re stressed so we told him $150 and Then asked us whether we can pay him cash and we did pay him cash. Completely ripoff people . I won’t trust them in future.

Pushy and Argumentative – I rang Brisbane24Locksmiths to submit a request. They advise a technician would call me to discuss. The technician was very pushy when I explained I had already found a locksmith within the timeframe they took to contact me. I then ended up having to hang up. I was then rung by their service desk who explained the prices. Too pushy and made me feel very stressed out
