Awesome service and advice – Had a problem with my pool pump not priming and found this company online when many others were closed for Xmas break, dropped the pump off Saturday morning, and got a call from them Monday morning advising that they couldn’t find a problem with the pump and offering some suggestions about other things that could be causing the problem - when I picked up the pump the Proprietor (Colin) despite being on his way out to a service call took the time to offer a number of suggestions about how to resolve the issue and said he would be happy to come to my house and problem solve if necessary. I followed the advice given by Colin and got the pump working - didn’t charge me anything for his time despite me offering - great service from someone who obviously has years of hands on experience in his field and puts service before profit - hard to find people like this these days !

Wow the product is amazing – Rang up Brisbane pool pumps to see if they could fix my salt chlorinate or was it in my best interest to update my current model when I asked for the best price the manager when above and beyond to help me and gave me a really good price.I rang up on Wednesday at 330pm I paid for it over the phone and it arrived to my house my 11am the following day. I was so shocked on how quickly my item came will definitely order from this company again in the future. Thank you Brisbane pool pumps for the fantastic service.

Buyer beware - business selling a product as new with missing, faulty parts – Rang Brisbane Pool Pump Specialists (Brisbane Chlorinator Specialists), to see if they had a particular salt filter for sale. I was told they did and was quoted a price for new filter. Asked for best price, was told the war was impacting on prices (even though it sounded like it had been sitting there prior to any war, and she said she had to look for it to make sure it is still there).

My husband went to pick it up over 30 mins away, then I received a phone call to say parts are missing. So I rang him to tell him not to bother. He spoke to her later to see what was missing. He thought it was only minor and the price was reduced slightly, after having to check with someone else. The filter was picked up by us and was told a clamp was missing. I found out to replace this clamp was much more than the discount provided. Also the wrong sized lateral assembly was provided, and he was told to go back to pick up the correct part and return the wrong part. He also discovered the gauge was not working, and had to put our old one back on. This product appeared second hand and not new. It had been used and we had paid for a new product.

As an example, another company had the same new product, not in stock, which was much cheaper than what Brisbane Pool Pump Specialist (Brisbane Chlorinator Specialists), was selling this filter for. So the price even with the discount because of a missing part was still more than this other organisation was selling their new filters for.

I spoke to the person I had been dealing with, over the missing parts being more than the discount provided, and providing wrong parts that we were expected to go and pick up. She said she needed to speak to someone else and they would phone me back. I could not talk to her in full about the issues as she kept talking over me. She rang back and said comments like, just trying to help you out. But we paid and picked up supposed new product in good faith which had missing and/or faulty parts with the appearance of already being used. She said she would refund but we had to pack up the filter and take it back to be refunded. (My husband had already connected the top part to the plumbing). So a waste of time, and money especially with the price of fuel as present. Not to mention the stress of having to deal with this business. I will not be dealing with Brisbane Pool Pump Specialists (aka Brisbane Chlorinator Specialists) again, and neither do I recommend them, hence this review.
