Bristol Easyliving Low Sheen

Bad experience using Bristol's EasyLiving Low Sheen Paint – I was painting my 2 bedroom unit and decided to use EasyLiving Low Sheen 15 L paint for it. Steps used to prepare the surface: 1. Cleaned and washed all the walls with sugar soap. 2. Filled all the cracks etc using putty. 3. Applied taubmans pure performance prep coat. Let it dry for 2 hours. 4. Applied the EasyLiving Low Sheen first coat on the walls, first cutting the corners with a brush and later using a roller to roll the walls.
The paint wont stick to the walls and was runny all over. I thought I should let it dry and might look better after 2-3 hours, but after waiting almost 4 hours it still wont turn out nicely.
I went to master's and bought the Valspar Diamond Interior Low Sheen 15 ltr that evening [link removed] and it worked like a charm. I applied it with the same technique and brushes, and never had the runny paint problem as I faced with Bristol.
