Whilst staff were polite, an elderly pensioner was thoroughly ripped off, being charged over $3500 to replace 5 taps. Additionally, when using one of the taps after they left, I had to tighten the fittings as water went everywhere.…

plumber by my neighbour who came and fixed the issue within 20 minutes charging just a $150 fee.

Avoid these guys.

On 10/03/2026, I called Dan's Plumbing on 02 9078 7865 to request a quote for a blocked shower drain. The person I spoke with advised that the plumber would need to attend in person to provide a quote. called Brofessionals Pty Ltd. After five minutes of inspection, he advised that the cost to fix the blocked drain would be $1,421.00. As this was much higher than I expected, I told him I would need to discuss the price with my husband before proceeding.

At that point, he intimated me saying that I have to pay a call-out fee, and I was charged $128.90.

I feel this was misleading, as I was initially told there would be no charge for the quote. PLEASE DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH DAN'S PLUMBING / BROFESSIONALS PTY LTD, they are trying to rip off customers.

This issue was after quoted by another plumber, which charged me $250.00. WHAT A DIFFERENCE DAN'S PLUMBING/ BROFESSIONALS PTY LTD..... If you want to be considered a professional service, you should start with honesty and transparency.

Also, they record phone calls without asking for your consent beforehand.

The 4.9-star rating seems questionable, as many online reviews can easily be purchased or manipulated

BE CAREFUL....DON'T TRUST THEM!

Cost was $1252 for 30 minute attempt to clear blockage using a high powered jet blaster. Problem not resolved and was left with a worse situation that before the plumber was onsite.
