This weed killer did absolutely nothing for the weeds I was trying to get rid of, not even the tiniest ones were affectedby it....I ended up using a home made concoction of water, vinegar and dishwashing soap that did the job... buying it was honestly a total waste of money. For context, I'd used it a while back, waited a week repeated… Read more

application and waited another week, when nothing happened, no shrivelling or signs of drying up, I manually pulled them out. About 2 months later they popped right back. I tried the application one more time, waited a week, when nothing happened (AGAIN).. I resorted to the concoction... the following morning greying weeds, then a day later guess what? dead weeds...

I’ve never used a weed killer that promotes weeds and helps them grow! I purchased 2 x 1ltr containers of Brunnings Path weed killer used 500ml in 5lts, nothing happened after a week(the weeds we’re as healthy as ever) then did the same again, waited 2 weeks and after very healthy weeds threw the other litre in the bin! Maybe Bunnings put the… Read more

wrong product in and used feed instead of weed killer. Whatever they did I’ll never waste my money with them again.

This product does work brilliantly, guessing some people do not read the label, you either wet the ground before spraying, or spray a day or two before expected rain. I use the bulk pack 1 litre, about 276ml per 5 litre, but the ready to use 1 litre is ready to use so if you water it down it wont work. i sprayed this last year and am only having to redo it now- 12 months later Show details

I bought two weed killing products from Coles and then Woolworths to spray a couple of weeds. Firstly the ready to use weed killer, I saturated the weeds and 36 hours later it looked healthier than beefier so then I saturated it with 1 hour week killer and another 24 hours later no effect if at all a little wilting. These products are rubbish and completely useless. How do I get my money back ??? Show details

Waste of money – Useless. I agree it did nothing and even if it takes 3 weeks to kill the weeds as someone mentioned WHY? Very disappointing Brunnings. I had gone to get your (shows results in 1hr weed killer) which was great but there was none. Maybe a better description on the bottle to say how long it takes to work gives people a choice. Im cleaning up for snake and fire season this year not hoping it works by winter. Show details

Useless – Does not work. Waste of money. So bad that the weeds almost died but actually survived & came back to life!

Worst ever, avoid at all cost – Makes bold claims, suggested mix is 20:1 I mixed at 2:1, approx 10 times stronger. after a week theres not only no yellowing but the weeds are bigger than ever and green as u know what as if they've been fertilized. total rubbish and a waste of money. dont say you weren't warned. it's a scam product of the highest order in my opinion Show details

Absolute rubbish – No effect on weeds. Just stains your pavers white. Compared to last similarly priced product bought which killed the weeds in an hour, this Bunnings product is total rubbish. Show details

Dribbles out, no spray or stream – Useless product. Had to pour it on weeds as spray didn’t work on either of 2 items bought. Then took a week to take effect. Labelled as ‘fast acting’. Won’t buy again unless packaging improves. Show details

Awful product – Same as others have said already - product doesn’t work at all - just white stains and weeds keep growing. The packaging is also terrible as the sprayer stops working. Would give zero stars if possible Show details

Useless – Clogs any spray device, almost immediately. Had to resort to the watering can, hope there is no residual effect for the can. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND as cannot apply using an ordinary spray pump. Show details

Good product that works applied right – This review is for the 1L bottle concentrate, not premix. I occasionally use pre mix but it really doesn't cover enough liberally to work. I have a 9L bottle sprayer and i really like the concentrate as its easy to do the measurements of half of the concentrate for half my sprayer, other concentrates are more finicky in measurements. Once i… Read more

liberally spray, stuff is dead after 7+days and it stays dead for many months. I use this on the paths around my house at my farm and it gets weather battered. I do find that if i leave the mix out in the sun or in the container too long, sometimes it breaks down and doesn't work too well, so sometimes i have a miss. But I would still buy this stuff from my local IGA (another good reason, dont have to goto bunnings to get it).

Spray bottle useless – The spray bottle will not work after a couple of squirts. Particles in the mixture clog it. Poor effort Brunnings for not supplying a decent application bottle. Will not be buying any of your other products. Show details

Useless spray nozzle, leaves stains – Horrible product. You can't spray directly on weeds because the bottle needs to be kept upright, which is useless when spraying onto the ground. I got so frustrated with it that I tipped the remaining solution on the weeds. All I have now are horrible big white stains everywhere and live weeds. Do not buy this product. Show details

Excellent product – This is a review for the concentrated spray not the premixed spray .I have used all the Brunnings weed products now for years and wouldn’t use anything else I also add a few drops of dish drops into my 8 lte sprayer and also a good dose of cooking salt and within a few days to a week all the weeds are looking very sick or totally dead. But sadly… Read more

now Bunnings has now stopped selling the concentrate bottle of the path weeder so now have to get it at Drakes.

sprayer does not work after a couple of sprays – I have been using this for sometime but I always buy 2 or 3 bottles so that when the sprayer stops working I have another spray nozzle to work, hopefully. I also find you can never use everything in the bottle so I have to pour the remaining solution into another half filled bottle. I find the weed killer does work most of the time but my BIG complaint is with the sprayer nozzle! Show details

Concentrate works brilliantly for 12 months on my pavers – My experience is the same as that of AJT for the Concentrate (not the weaker premixed ready to use version). My 70 sq metres of pavers are weed free for about 12 months after using this. Note that rain must be avoided for 24 hours after application. I have used this for several years with the same good results. The pavers have a white powdery… Read more

coating for a while but it's not really a big deal and it always disappears eventually. I bought another 2 bottles yesterday and my job for today is to sweep the pavers to remove dead leaves and dirt, dilute the concentrate in a bucket of water as per the label instructions then use a soft broom or mop to dip into the bucket and sweep over all the pavers with special focus on cracks between pavers. One diluted bottle covers 40 sq metres. Since it's possibly carcinogenic, it's important not to swallow any of the milky liquid (but why would you?) and to use the broom or mop only for this purpose. Don't spread it too thinly - if you dilute a bottle, make sure you don't spread it over more than 40 sq metres (eg, 8 metres x 5 metres). And keep it off any plants that you don't want to kill.

Doesn’t work – Sprayed weeds coming out of cracks in footpaths and driveway. Weeds were left with a white residue on them, they didn’t even get poorly, no effect whatsoever. This product is useless.  Show details

Zero stars nothing but soap water – It doesn't work. Only leaves white stained leaves. Looks like soap water. Would not recommend this to anyone. Even tried spraying excessive amounts, the week wrinkles after a couple of days but then survives and recovers.

Leaves white stains and does not kill weeds – I agree with other reviews: it just leaves white stains (which won't go away with just soap and water. I had to use methylated spirits) and the weeds were still very much alive. Also, the spray mechanism stopped working after about 10-15 sprays, which was frustrating on the moment but a blessing in disguise as I couldn't use it much and has very little of the white stains to clean. A total waste of money. Don't buy it. Show details

Does not work – Had bought this make before in a grey bottle, it worked as described. Could not see that again but they had this and expected the same results. This is a waste of money, spray it on, it dries with a white stain and does nothing to kill weeds. Not sure if it was a bad batch or too weak to work. Will not buy again. Show details

Concentrate works for over 6 months on brick paving...zero weeds – I haven’t used the pre-mix, this is a review for the concentrate. Follow instructions carefully and it works really well. It took 2 weeks to kill all the weeds on my brickwork driveway, paths and terrace, but once they had gone, they didn’t come back for at least 6 months and it wasn’t really noticeable for about 8 months. The white residue that’s… Read more

left behind helps you see where you’ve sprayed and disappears after a week or two. It’s also good value (per litre) if you have a large area to spray. Wouldn’t use anything else and I am obsessive about weeds between the bricks, they drive me mad, so this product has been a god send!

Works but has faults – The product works well majority of the time, the down side is the stain it leaves on the concrete, on the fence, or the house, basically anything. And heaven forbid you get it on the grass, seems to discolor and kill the grass better than weeds. Find it discolors thistles but does not kill them. Show details

Happy with this product – I have used this product for years. I have used both the ready mix and the concentrate and I have been more than happy with it. I use it to do my paddock fence lines. I find it works well. I sometimes find it hard to find the concentrate in Bunnings. That's disappointing as I used to use a lot of the product. Show details

Ineffective – This seemed more like a fertiliser for my driveway weeds. I’ve also left an online message, hoping someone will follow up. to my online query. They replaced my 1L of thoroughly ineffective concentrate with 2 little spray bottles of pre-mix. I sprayed a few weeds that had come up since the last roundup application to spot test it, and again, no effect.

Works Well – Using glyphosate on paths is a waste of time. It only kills growing weeds, it does nothing about the seeds sitting in the cracks waiting to germinate. This product on the other hand not only kills active growing weeds but it also prevents weed seeds from germinating and gaining a foothold and lasts for at least six months, whereas if you rely on… Read more ·  1

glyphosate alone you'll be having to spray again every 3 weeks or so.

This works just as well as a similarly named product for a lot less money. You do have to follow the instructions closely though because there are a few steps if not done will mean it will be a lot less effective. Another thing should be mentioned, it will take longer to kill actively growing weeds than glyphosate but once you see them starting to show effects, you know they're history.

I would give this product ZERO stars if I could – This product DOES NOT WORK! I have repeatedly sprayed and sprayed weeds and even grass and all it does is turn them a little bit yellow but the weeds and grass are still alive and well! It should be called 'weed lover' not killer! Don't waste your money buy some ZERO instead.  Show details

Good stuff – Brunning's path weeder is an excellent product. I use it around my garden edges and farm fencing. After a week or so, weeds completely dead. I always shake product well before mixing with water. I have bought other similar products , that are slightly more expensive, and brunnings path weeder works quicker than them.  Show details

This Rubbish and a complete waste of money – I followed the instructions and was left with a white stain on the pavers and no discernible effect on the weeds. the worse product – I actually sprayed this product twice in the same area. After more than 2 weeks nothing changed to the weeds & grass in the area that I sprayed. I read & followed the instructions carefully (shake well before use and mix 500ml with 9 L of water) and spraying water after 5 days of use. But so far 'No results' at all. Very disappointed. Brunnings Products Never AGain – Purchased their "Path Weeder" from Bunnings (not to be confused with Bunnings). Sprayed on weeds between bricks on driveway. reply thus far. Phoned Sydney Head Office today - no answer. Then phoned Melbourne Office twice. First time I was given a 10 minute monologue from a machine. On second call was able to leave message to machine outlining problem. Awaiting call back hopefully from a human. In meantime back to "Round-Up" for sure. Not overly concerned about dud product just the lack of Customer service(?) when trying to be helpful.
