worst silver ever! dont waste your money on this rubbish – this dodgy company wont even give you a refund! even if its the very next day after your purchase and having brought a lot of 925 genuine silver in my long life as I am no teenager I know for a fact it does not fall apart at the clasp after one removal from your neck to have a shower, but apparently its common practice at Butterfly Silver as the… Read more

sales lady happily told me, she fixes returning customers broken chains, anklets etc. all the time because they refuse to REFUND

Lovely staff, fair product – Essentially this store is you get what you pay for, if you buy a $20 thin necklace like anywhere -it won’t last- spent a bit more money and you get a good product. In my experience the staff have always been lovely, trying to help in any way they can.

Cheap stuff, unfriendly service sold at inflated prices – Butterfly Silver products are very cheaply made and break apart easily after wearing them for a short time. The prices are inflated and far too high for their low quality products. We bought earrings for our daughter for $50 which she wore a dozen times before the earring broke apart. We still had the ticket however it was more than the 3 months… Read more

ridiculous short warranty period they give as she did not wear the earrings straight away after they were purchased but several months later (after the swimming pool season had passed as we did not want to expose her earrings to chlorine water). We went to the shop and were treated without respect or any understanding and were only told that the warranty is 3 months and they cannot do anything, they repeated this again it again like a robot. Our daughter was devastated but also this did not interest the store manager. Overall very poor quality and very poor service. DO NOT SHOP THERE.

Beautiful Jewellery – They have a huge range of beautiful jewellery for all occassions. My personal favourite is their molecular collection. Reasonably priced for what you receive.

Bad product, bad service – I bought some earrings, the clasp wouldn't close. If I had looked at them I would not have got them. Not well made. Took them back they wouldn't refund only replace. The new ones are also faulty, don't close properly and so drop out. My advice, buy jewellery from a proper jeweller's.

Cheap products – Cheap made products break easily. The owners of the company are arigont and are just money hungry. I would never buy anything From this store, prices are ridiculous for the product ur getting breaks easy bends easy and stones fall out within a couple of weeks. Crap. The company in general is terrible. The staff have to push customers to buy… Read more

expensive things so that they don't lose there hours. That's why the staff have to be so pushy and make you feel like your being pressured to buy what your looking at. It is not the staffs fault, it's the head mangement pushing them to do so or they won't

Have jobs. The shop is just crap and a waste of money

Beware of Precious Stones – Their stores (and website) sell a range of jewellery (amongst others) described as Black Onyx. Their stores display a sign that says "Onyx Gemstone" and their staff promote these products as precious gemstones. I bought an Onyx Gemstone ring in February last year and discovered that it was fake and not a stone at all. It wasn't even cheap glass… Read more

in fact it was some sort of plastic material. I became suspicious when the gloss faded off the stone within a month or two but then it became covered in scratches. I discovered that I could easily dig a hole in the stone with a just a small nail file.

I went back to the store today and they were adamant that it was a gemstone and that they would get someone from their Head Office to call me about it. I'm still waiting. Meantime, they are still falsely labeling these products (and possibly others on display).

There is a photo of the ring here :

You decide if it is a precious stone.
