Scammers! Will take your money and not provide you with your product! – I purchased two wireless chargers from Cable Geek. After not receiving a shipping notification for 2 weeks I contacted them asking if they had shipped my order yet. They never responded and so I sent them another email a week later and still no response. I believe that they are scammers who take your money and don’t intend to supply you with your… Read more
products which is against the ACL. I have reported them to the ACCC and Consumer Affairs Victoria. Buyers beware!!
I think they might be out of business – I ordered something in May this year but the order was never processed and they are not responding to any emails or Facebook messages. I think they might be out of business. I have never had an issue with them in the past, with either service or products and I have ordered multiple times.
Scam… – I ordered charger from CableGeeks and never received them and got never an answer to my emails.. And as no phone number is provided either I couldn’t get in touch with them.. I filled a complaint with the ACCC and Fairtrade.. ( BTW my bad for ordering from then..I didn’t realise they don’t show an ABN..which speaks for itself ) Don’t order from them…
Faulty product, zero customer service – Ordered 2 Anker wireless chargers. Work 1 in 10 uses. Emailed customer support 3 times but no reply. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! Show details
Replaced Quickly and Entirely – Ordered an AUKEY PB-N42 and it broke after about 3 months. Contacted support and they quickly sent me a coupon to buy a brand new one and I didn't even need to send the faulty unit back. A+ support in my books Show details
Be Sure What You Buy- You'll Never Get Money Back Or Any Customer Service – See all the comments/reviews - it is the same story.... never any response after 5 attempts - no phone number no address. No product details/dimensions, goods arrived not as expected - Buy elsewhere... Show details
Terrible customer service! – I purchased an Anker 5 port USB phone charger in July, 3 of the ports stopped working. I have emailed twice, asked for warranty form, and Facebook messaged them. All unanswered!! No phone number to ring! DO NOT BUY from this vendor. Show details
Terrible Customer Service – My Anker power cable was faulty and after weeks of waiting for a warranty claim, they finally gave me $15 store credit. The cable was $24.95 plus $10 postage, so this is nowhere near enough to cover the 'free replacement'. Have not responded to emails or Facebook messages. Will be going to the ACCC. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Show details
support team never response your email or Facebook messenger – support team never response your email or Facebook messenger! I emailed them a few times regarding my order adjustment with them! They never replied. I am so surprised with this customer experience in today day and age Show details
Faulty Cable No Response to Emails – Items arrived fine and 2 or 3 products are ok. One of the anker cables however is faulty and there is no response to multiple emails regarding warranty. Disappointing customer service. Will not shop with them again. Show details
No problems - great purchasing experience – I ordered an Anker USB-C to USB-C cable because Cable Geek Australia offered the best price I could find. It was posted fast, well packed, arrived on time (using free postage option), and I received the cable I ordered.
Fault Product Labelling – I wanted to buy the "Anker PowerCore+ 26800 PD with 30W Power Delivery Charger". This is the version of the power pack with a charger bundled. https://www.anker.com/products/variant/anker-powercore-26800-pd-with-30w-power-delivery-charger/B1375112 Cable Geek advertise the "PowerCore+ 26800 PD" which DOES NOT have the charger as "Anker… Read more
PowerCore+ 26800mAh PD / 30W Power Bank with Power Delivery". As you can see if you don't read the fine print you could easily think this is the version with the charger!
This is fault product labelling as the product they advertise does not exist. Be warned this is very disingenuous behaviour.
Faulty cables, no longer responding to emails – Worst Customer Service I have ever seen. Item still under warranty and no response to emails. Have sent several. Not trustworthy at all. I'll be shopping else where from now on.

I require this product in a hurry. This was the cheapest quote and the product arrived in three day – I purchased an Anker PowerCore Elite 20000mAh Power Bank from Cable Geek. It was cheaper than at other sites I compared it too. As I was wanting to take it as back up on the trans-Siberian railway trip in 2 weeks, I paid for priority post $6,50. when ordering on July 22 II received the power Bank on July 25. The item seems to be as advertised. I… Read more
have had no reason to contact the company or negotiate an exchange. I was exceeding happy with all aspects of the transaction and so have happily put the Geek Cable sticker included on the product as a future reminder.
The worst customer service – I've purchased from cablegeek and paid for the express shipping which was an extra $5.00. The item was shipped the following day. 2 days later I've received an email saying that apparently my parcel had an exception with no explanation from Aust Post so they have to ship the parcel back to the sender (cablegeek). I've contacted Aust Post… Read more
regarding about my parcel by providing them my tracking number and details and they got back to me saying that the sender made a mistake by not including my unit number in the address field hence getting an exception.
I've tried contacting [name removed] (real name [name removed]) through their support and info email and asking what's gonna happen to my parcel but he's pretty hard to reach, I had to email them a few times because it took him 5 days to reply.
So [name removed] then said that he refunded my money back as a checkout store credit to use to re-purchase the item back again but I still have to pay for the express shipping fee even though it was his fault on mistakenly not providing my unit number in my address field. So I replied to his email straight away but guess what, it took him another 5 days to reply to me.
I know that it's not that big amount of fee to pay for but knowing him as the sender making a mistake should be responsible for the fee and not the customer, it's plain black and white, if you made a mistake you make up for it.
Very disappointed on my first and last purchase with cablegeek.
Thank you [name removed] for your awesome customer service mate, karma will get you back as well. Or has it? :)
Here's some awesome info about this [name removed] btw. He has another business, named CoinJar where he is a "co-funder" of the business, and a big time scammer surprisingly! He sure is a really greedy guy.
