Cadbury Picnic Ice Cream

Absolutely Delicious – I don't usually buy any ice cream that isn't vanilla, I am not a fan of chocolate ice cream at all. But this was on special and decided to get it for my son. I had a taste and that was it, I ate the entire tub! Cadbuyr's Picnic Ice Cream is the perfect blend of chocolate and honeycomb with a good amount of crunch. If I ate with my eyes closed I wouldn't know it was Picnic – Ok I'm a huge fan of some of the ice-cream adaptations of my favourite chocolate bars, and I do love a Picnic now n then tho my problem is I wouldn't know this was picnic flavour ice-cream. chocolate ice-cream & the yellow half tastes like honeycomb flavour this isn't a big surprise but there's nothing special about the ice-cream itself. It does contain a generous amount of peanut & tiny choc coated wafery pieces, though is hugely lacking any crunch this is a massive let down if you have ever crunched into a Picnic. I wouldn't expect large chunks of wafer would stay hard in ice-cream though would be great, and the peanut pieces too could be bigger. Finally it does make up with a nice spiral of caramel running through the middle, though it needs a new and improved recipe for my liking, and is not an ice-cream I would personnaly buy again.
