Valuable asset to Cairns – It is rather small compared to Aquariums located at major cities. However, the place is easy to navigate and is a great place to learn about the local beauties hidden under the waters. The place is well maintained and the staff are very friendly and informative.

Cairns Aquarium - a must see when in Cairns – For a reasonable entrance price you can spend hours wandering around the superb aquarium, they have fantastic information sessions at various times, such beautiful sea creatures to see. It starts off like as if you are in a river ecosystem then it takes you along the river way to the ocean and you can see all the different kinds of creatures that inhabit the areas. The coral reef was spectacular with such beautiful creatures and fish. I’d go again if I had more time here on my short visit to Cairns.
