We got a replacement Camec Washing machine under warranty. Now the new machine keeps filling up with water. Even when I put it on the spin cycle it stops after a few minutes and fills with water to wash. Off grid I had to fill up my water container five times.

Hi team. We have a 4kg camec front loader. it has been playing up a bit but usually comes good with a reset. But has completely stopped now and wont start the programme. The programme lights up and lock flashes then goes out with out locking then start light goes out. I replaced the door lock however that wasn't the problem. Any comments would be grateful.

We are on our way to WA our van is 4 years old and now the washing machine will not empty, sounds like the pump is buggered they have suggested we get a new machine. Not Happy
Great news my husband fixed it. There is a switch inside at the back of the tub on the left hand side which got knocked when it went out of balance so he put his hand in and found the switch and pulled it forward. Problem fixed.
Our machine wouldn't spin either so we took your advice and fixed the problem thanks margaret !
My Camec Washes ok but when it finishes it gives a code of E3 if you lift the lid & cloes it it starts the cycle all over again the code E3
How to drain
After having one Sphere and four Camec machines, I have concluded that they are a throw away item. When they play up, they are uneconomical to repair. I had to physically bail mine out so I could get the machines out whenever they failed to drain. I no longer have either brand as they are not cost effective.
Hi all, we have a Camec 2.5kg compact washing machine, it won’t stop running water in until you turn the machine off, we have checked it’s level, I was wondering if there’s a fix for it
You’ll find that the motherboard is cactus. Only way to rectify is to replace the machine. We’ve had four Camec 2.5 kg machines, one Sphere 2.5 kg and a Camec 3 kg machine. They aren’t made for long term use. We replaced ours with a 7 kg Whirlpool. Problem solved.

My camec has been working fine but has now stopped spinning.as soon as spin cycle is to commence it goes back to rinse and machine refills
I had a similar problem and found that the quality of the build requires that the waste hose must be fitted according to manufacturers specifications otherwise it throws the cycles out. Even then I had problems so went to a different brand. I won’t buy Camec now.

Hi John, we used one in our annexe with a longer waste hose (bought from Bunnings) and a garden hose with Neta clip on fitting. I don’t have much faith in the Camec product, though. Our original machine was a Sphere, followed by three Camec machines which all stopped working very soon after purchase. Because we live in our van, we opted for a 7 kg Whirlpool, which I lift into the van when we move. Otherwise it lives in the annexe. I think Samsung or maybe another brand make a small machine so suggest you check them out as well.
Can someone please tell me the location of the feet on the bottom of a camec 4kg front loader washing machine. Trying to weld in supports for the machine to sit on front to back. Need the distance from the side of the washing machine to the middle of the foot as well as the diameter of the foot

Don’t our Camec 4kg front loader didn’t last 4month all on bitumen road completely destroyed it self. I know of people that are on their second and third replacement. Also I will be surprise if you will be able to buy as they come from Russia
I have a brand new camec 2.5 washing machine used two weeks with no hassle now it won’t stop filling with water. If I don’t stop the machine it will overflow. Not happy. Had a lemur 2.2 for 9 years with no problems

Ended up taking it back to the store for a replacement
New 4kg front loader, on spin cycle, the drum makes excessive noise. The machine doesn't vibrate and travel lugs have been removed.
Anyone thoughts?
We had a Camec 4 kg front loader in the caravan we purchased second hand. Going over bitumen roads in Central Queensland was enough for it to shake itself to death. The 10 kg blocks of concrete above and below the drum literally came through the body of the machine from the inside. We were not off-roading or on any unsealed roads. Washing machine ended up in a dump totally unable to be repaired. Shopping for a new one but can’t see anything that doesn’t look like it would do exactly the same thing. These machines look like they are designed for city roads that have no bumps, dips or uneven surfaces. A top loader wont fit in the space unfortunately but very weary of spending $$$$ only to have it happen again.

We got a Dometic front loader in our van (delivered 2005) & never had any issues whatsoever! It has run like a dream. Only criticism is it runs for a long time even on the shortest wash. But I dont use it when off grid so it is only an annoying issue!
