Item arrived unusable/defective and buyers have to pays to return their defective products. Bit of a scam really.

Information issues but order supplied in acceptable time – Order was placed for an Oztrail camping chair package. Email came through immediately acknowledging order, then dispatch. emails which were not responded to. Contacted PayPal, who were most helpful and able to supply tracking number on our behalf, which was immediately active in Aust. Post website. Package arrived as promised, 8 days later, from NSW to SA, which is most satisfactory. I understand why people become suspicious. The problem is a breakdown in the company's communications. If this could be rectified and customers given proper live information, plus replies to correspondence, then problem would be resolved. Actual supply and delivery of product was perfect. Steve

Buy your product elsewhere – I bought an Oztrail gazebo from Camping Central. The price was cheaper than I could find from other retailers. Unfortunately, the gazebo was faulty from the first use. I have tried to contact Camping Central 3 times through their contact page, and once through social media. Consistent with other reviews on this site, they do not respond.

TERRIBLE, BORDERLINE SCAMMERS – I purchased based on the 30 days satisfaction guarantee. This is a flatout LIE as they refuse to accept returns in ALL CASES. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, They will take your money and turn their backs on you. Their practices are contrary to Australian consumer laws.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY – These people are so dodgy. Order a highchair from them online through paypal and they email me and said they needed an extra $20 for freight. The email wasn't on a company email or anything so I asked for a refund. Didn't here another thing from them. Dodgy. I have asked through PayPal for a refund

Didn’t receive item – Ordered a swag 14 Nov 2021, followed up on order by sending an email on 3 Dec 2021. Business just refunded my money with no explanation leaving me without a Christmas gift for my son and limited time to have another delivered. Disgusting!!

Horrible seller – Bought two chairs through their eBay store. Broke after a second use. Steel legs bent and split. Contacted them for a return but they denied it claiming we'd been bouncing on them.

Bad communication! Haven't received order confirmation – Terrible communication. Not given any tracking information. Not given any order confirmation. Sent message trying to communicate twice already without reply. Not professional to deal with at all. I wish to cancel my order!!! Specially after reading so many bad reviews.

get back to me and shared the tracking number which confirmed that my order was shipped when the seller said it was. It arrived within in a few days, correctly and as described and appears on brief inspect to have no quality issues. Seller explained to me that they are a very busy online/warehouse operation and have limited resources to respond to emails quickly. I would confidently purchase from this store again, but would take into account that you can't just call up and make an enquiry about the order.

Doesn't deliver. Doesn't Communicate – These guys only had to deliver across Sydney. 10 days later; no tracking or shipping information provided. No response to enquiries. Paypal claim & got the refund. Don't believe their offers.

The worst customer service ever – I received a fault sleeping bag which tore within it's second use. After countless emails back and fourth with a person called Shahin they accused me of doing it myself and kept saying I've voided warranty. The responses to my emails have taken at least 1 week at a time for a simple reply. Do not buy from here! DODGY WEBSITE

thing was that my transaction only went through about 12 hours after the purchase. 5 days after ordering the order suddenly got cancelled and I received a refund from PayPal. I tried contacting camping central via email, and their online systems with no reply or no explanation about why it got cancelled or what is happening with my order. I checked online and the tent that I purchased is still available and "in stock". They are dodgy as, avoid at all costs!

Dishonest company – Bought an OZtrail Genesis 4V Tent Blue from these guys. few attempts they asked to send through the pictures of the torn tent. When i did send the pics they said we need the pics from the other side of the tent. I did that as well. Then they came up with the excuse that not all guy ropes were used hence the warranty is invalid. Like what HOW? We did set up the tent the exact way the instructions were provided and these guys assumed from the pictures that we have not set it up correctly. WRONG! Dealing with these guys is a waste of time. STAY AWAY! if you value your time. Now I have to lodge a dispute with PAYPAL.

I purchased SPAM – I purchased one item, and they used my paypal account email to spam the heck out of me. 5 within 1hr all from different sites, some I've never heard of. It is either CampingCentral or possible 'bigcommerce.com'

Bad customer service, poor quality products – They are dishonest snakes. Poor quality products and no refund at all. Fair trading will be there shortly and will hopefully close them down.

Trying to get it re-rolled was pretty difficult, so I emailed for some advice from the store, explaining the issues and warning them that the difficulty repacking the bed and the fact that once it has been first inflated it can never be returned to its original packed size meant that I would be returning it. I asked them for their return procedures, but no mention was made in their reply. I followed their advice, but it was almost the procedure I had followed in my attempt.

I then asked again for their return procedure, but their attitude was they would only accept a return if it was a damaged item.

I tried explaining that online stores have a difference to in-store shopping in that, as you can't pick up the item or physically inspect it, you have to go completely on the information given on the web site of the store as well as any reviews you can find BUT if something becomes a problem and the item is unsuitable for its intended purpose they should be willing to accept it back in good order. They did not agree, even though I delivered it back to them in person.

Camping Central hasn't really cottoned on to its online presence in my opinion. It has a good range of products, reasonable prices, but is requiring a bit more thought on the customer experience with their online attitude. If an item fails to meet the purchasers expectations because no mention is made of its failing anywhere publicly accessible it should be able to be returned
